841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you hold your coins? on: November 01, 2017, 08:11:31 PM
So i'm new to cryptocurrency, actually just started 2 days ago, was reading about cryptocurrency, and stumbled upon Neblio and decided to go for it.

Now i'm holding about 600$ worth of Neblio on Cryptopia, which i'm fairly certain it will reach at least 2x, but aiming at x4 early next year to be honest.

Anyway, i want to sit on the Neblio for a while, but i don't want to have it hostage on an Exchange, so what are the best and safer solutions, Desktop and Online to hold he currency?
i usually put my coin in exchange but i dont put it all in one exchange
i use different exchange and split the coin for trading and put some in other wallet for long term
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: November 01, 2017, 08:08:35 PM
Hello, Friends...

I Recently listen about the ICO (Initial Coin Offerings)! But I'm confused, Is it a Right Investment or Not?

Anyone Suggests me!
its not right investment if you will not make research about the coin you will investing
but there always a big risk in investing in ICO your new so i recommend just hold it in bitcoin and wait for the bitcoin price to rise
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make your own choice in investing? on: November 01, 2017, 07:59:27 PM
1. The project must have the product already working.
2. The project is supported by a team of developers and advisory team who have a clean and good track record.
3. The project has a detailed whitepaper.
4. Long-term plan.

I like your list above, but the issue I have with most of these project with working product is overvaluation of their tokens, if they have a ready product why not just move to the market straight but they will first come for ICOs to milk investors dry.
i agree some of those with already working product ico usually overvalue there token and the price will drop because its totally overvalue
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the first thing you consider before investing in an ICO? on: November 01, 2017, 07:52:17 PM
How do you guys decide what's going to be the next big thing?
i decide to invest in coin with some good feature
promising team and some good background
cheap coin even high supply if the coin is cheap there a possibility that price will rise
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin Gold have a block explorer? on: November 01, 2017, 07:48:25 PM
I can't find a block explorer for Bitcoin Gold. Hasn't he hardfork happened yet? How can we control what blocks are being mined by the developers in the premine? How can I check my balances which should be equivalent to the BTC that I was holding at that particular point in time when the split happened?

Where in hell is the block explorer on this thing?
bitcoin gold dont get hype like what happen in BCC it look like a rush fork
not even listed in coinmarketcap as of now i cant also see working explorer

846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you sell altcoins before the fork? on: November 01, 2017, 07:38:21 PM
Hi guys,
in your opinion, it's time to buy or sell this sh*tcoins?  Huh

usually it time to sell some altcoin because before the fork the price of altcoin will drop
and you are just lucky if it go back in the same price again because bitcoin price always rise after the fork
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot ICOs of October with low market caps on: November 01, 2017, 07:36:22 PM

I am interested to know what everyone would classify as a ideal market cap.

5 million and under?
10 million and under?
15 million and under?
20 million and under?
25 million and under?

$15m and under is what I invest in, and every single ICO I did was very profitable. I might go for a bigger cap if the idea is really good or it has hype around it (like Kyber), but these days pretty much every ICO with over $15m is going to trade under ICO price.

The thing is that ICOs are trying to raise so much money these days. Come on, noone needs $85m to make a decentralized exchange or something. If I was to start a business, I would be super happy to get $500k-1m loan, ICO guys these days are not even happy with $50m. That's a huge amount of money for an idea.
i aslo participate in some ico that below $15m or even $30m we can say it profitable but not for everyone
usually when the ico end price is higher than the ico price but just after a few days it will drop
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's Time to Buy Alt Coin on: November 01, 2017, 07:27:17 PM
There is a new fork rumor in November. I think the market has still not come to it because bitcoin is still going up. After the latest fork case, the price of bitcoin continued to rise rapidly, and the altcoins received the proceeds from this transaction. I do not know exactly what days are fork in November, but maybe a few altcoins can be taken before that day. The price of bitcoin definitely needs to be corrected. nobody can use it this way.

another fork again if im right the last bitcoin fork is just around two weeks ago
the price of bitcoin keep increasing after the downfall before the last fork and if there will be another
maybe the price will drop again and break the record again after the fork
but its not good time to buy altcoin even the bitcoin price drop other altcoin price also drop
and when the price bitcoin price rise the altcoin price will not rise and just become stable in the drop price
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Dogecoin? on: November 01, 2017, 07:19:00 PM
Which is more profitable and most preffered by the many?
bitcoin priced get higher and higher while dogecoin price drop
so i will recommend bitcoin for not risky long term but you can also buy some dogecoin while price cheap and wait
to reach atleast 2 times so you can double your bitcoin

852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet with lowest transcation fee on: October 29, 2017, 07:58:23 AM

854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees make me angry on: October 29, 2017, 07:36:14 AM
What the hell ?

it's way too much . i pay higher on fees than the amount i'm sending to people
and i work a lot with bitcoin on small amounts..

The best solution i found now is  pay using ETH , then convert it to BTC using changelly. (something like 0.2$ fees) and its automatic.
Shapeshift is also take huge fees and blockchain.info support it to be part of their site. (don't use) .

maybe the mining difficulty rise so new block take a little bit longer and there a large unconfimed transaction again thats why fee is getting higher
855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The best way for newbies to buy bitcoin or ethereum on: October 26, 2017, 05:08:13 PM
Hi all,

Ive been investing small amounts in Bitcoin and ethereum for a year or so now but i wanted to ask what is the best or easiest way for a newbie to buy the currency now. I have a coinbase account so im able to purchase quickly if need be but so many buy sites make it very difficult for newbies to make such purchases in quick time. What is there out there thats on board and safe for anyone wanting to join the market quickly and start investing in such currencies?

Kind Regards

Griff
the best way to buy bitcoin is via coinbase and localbitcoin and in philippines i think its coins ph
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why all the freakout about Bitcoin's price? on: October 16, 2017, 02:37:43 AM
1) I generally only worry about Bitcoin's price when I want to buy a gift card or something. And even then, converting to fiat is someone else's problem in this scenario.

2) I can go weeks without opening up my wallet or checking the price, so it's not like I'm addicted, right? Right?!

3) Buy, hodl, buy, hodl...
for me i dont care about the price if it go down a little i will still use it to buy good or convert to cash
but if go higher a lot in just a week or month i know everyone who hold is happy for me hold and use because i dont buy bitcoin
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: October 16, 2017, 02:33:05 AM
Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.

I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?

I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks a lot!
if you plan to invest in bitcoin its better to buy now as soon as possible
even the price is high the price of it will always become much higher after a month or year
858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: October 16, 2017, 02:31:47 AM
Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
for me i store it in different online wallet and some exchange
if someone plan just to store there coin online it will better to split it in different platform
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I stll don't know what to do with my Bitcoins... on: September 30, 2017, 11:07:24 AM
Besides keeping it to raise in value later. There is not much I can do...

With fiat money, I can pay rent, go to restaurants, buy clothes. But with BTC, there is basically no stores that accept them in my country. Sure it's easier online, but then again the stores might not have the best products or is the cheapest/best value.

Am I the only one facing this issue?
its not really an issue you can exchange it in fiat when the value is high then buy anything you want
and buy hold some bitcoin when price is low if you will just keep your money in fiat the value will never rise
but in bitcoin it keep on rising monthly yearly better that what percentage profit any bank can offer
