161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DREAMR - The First Platform For Dream Manifestation on: September 25, 2019, 09:01:14 PM
Dreamr app development is growing at a fast pace. I heard Dreamr app would be fully launched soon on iOS and Android platforms. Soon we can use the app from our mobile phone where ever we are. I think it’s going to be a creative app for these companies.

There's no doubt that the dreamr project would be releasing an amazing app for the dreamr project, I guess the app would serve as the major interface for interactions between users of the dreamr platform. I do hope that both the android and ios version would be available immediately for user's.

Android apps typically gets released first. Ios do experience delays due to IOS platform security and verification. Which ever way the table turns I do love to be among the very early users.

I don't think so, in my quest around the crypto world, projects most likely go for iOS first as many believe that users of iOS mobile devices have the financial means of investing more than users of android but looking at it the other way, android users are more in terms of numbers than those of iOS, so its necessary that both platforms be made available for users

DRMR has an awesome use case. I think the price of its tokens would appreciate when the more people use the app to develop project dreams. It’s an app that is compatible with other Ethereum dApps. It has an in-built wallet and users could easily send cryptocurrencies to friends on the app or for payments for services.

They have a very beautiful plan for dreamers and users of the platform. One that's going to bring in a large number of crowd into the platform.

However I've not read anywhere the plans they have for investors who are going to fund the dreamers. Is dreamer depending solely on the utility of the tokens?

I think the platform is open to everyone: Investors, developers, CMS, web developers, supporting community and anyone with an idea/dream. You sign up on the platform and declare your dreams and aspirations. The platform would link you up with people with similar dreams or willing to help you. It seems easy to me.

The concept is no doubt a good one but i do want to know how they intend to raise the needed fund, will it be like a group thing whereby individuals with specific interest will come together and get the needed fund or will it like be like a case whereby its everyone for themselves in terms of funding and the one with the best idea gets the price or what?
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DREAMR - The First Platform For Dream Manifestation on: September 24, 2019, 08:56:17 PM

As far as the popularity of Dreamr project is concerned yes they will easily reach their softcap,  I read somewhere that the platform will also provide $1billion to the users till next year so I'm guessing this may be correlated.

Both softcap and hardcap numbers that I see are on the low side. Which is very good for achieving the targets. However my question is whether that is sufficient for the team to move ahead with devleopment?

You do have a good question and the fact that they have like a lot to implement within the community still kind of make me but wonder if they will be able to handle the amount of implementation that's to be done, either way, its of necessity that they deliver once the needed amount has been gotten, another thing, will they commence development once they reach the softcap?

It’s challenging to build a blockchain platform that solves worlds issues today. Finding the right tools, investors, legal advisoers and developers seems to be a difficult job. Dreamr platform would be an absolute solution to these issues.
Dreamr is welcome to the Ethereum community. Hopefully, your platform gets launched early to launch my project.

Building a brand is challenging, having such in an industry that is yet to be embraced by many is another, coupled with the fact that the industry has been seriously damaged by a lot of individuals with ulterior motives, even most of the trusted ones, just like i stated above, a lot of things needs to be put in place to help the industry spring forth and transform into something better
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️⚡️[ANN] ⚡️⚡️ ELYNET Official Regular Updates on: September 23, 2019, 09:10:33 PM
I must say I am not really sure how this will work, yet. Are they planning to build their own mobile operating system? It will be hard to compete against Android, iOS and the Huawei OS.

Couple with the fact that there are already number of blockchain based projects running with similar ideas and not being successful with implementation. However let's see how it all turns out to be. When we can get a hang of it and they can get a fair share of the market then I think the project will be profitable for business in the long term.

One of the most common weakness of blockchain inspired project is the adoption. Most times we are bamboozled by the details of a project who appears to have every step figured out and the teams pedigree looking so renowned but on entering the market they get consumed and before long we stop seeing their impact.
Am eagerly waiting for a project to break the jinx on blockchain inspired project and hope to see Elynet project making an outstanding contribution to the telecom industry.

You're absolutely right, i think this has to do with the foundation upon which the blockchain industry was built, many have been wired to believe that its all about getting rich as soon as possible but that's not the case unlike what they are used to, so such caused like a serious crack in the foundation which is really affecting the whole industry, it needs to be corrected

Well, that's the point, if they can implement all they stated on their whitepaper judiciously, they will surely raise the needed community, people love things that has to do with crowdfunding and social networking, so they have the concept, what remains is for them to build on that concept by laying down solid foundations that will stand the test of time
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️⚡️[ANN] ⚡️⚡️ ELYNET Official Regular Updates on: September 22, 2019, 08:53:32 PM
I'm not a fan of rooting devices. I've used several devices and I haven't rooted a single one. This may be the downside of installing Elynet own custom OS. If Elynet have a better strategy to this they should implement. Other than that they are going to face loads of problem
.

Yes, you do have a solid point and the more reason why they should elaborate on that aspect like how do they want to overcome that challenge of trying to root phones of their subscribers, that's if actually such is going to happen because i believe it won't really be to the best interest of the team if they choose that path, though i think they said something about a top brand collaboration, not yet certain about that
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DREAMR - The First Platform For Dream Manifestation on: September 22, 2019, 08:50:17 PM
Seriously, the whole concept looks like a mess to me. Why an earth would you combine funding and social networking. I am seeing beggars panhandling and spamming when i think about it.

I pretty much think that's where clarification from the team should come in and help clarify that aspect and the more reason why i stated something about finding out exactly who they intend to give the any fund to before such is done, i think this will help give a heads up and a clear definition of what they intend to do, how they intend to do it
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️⚡️[ANN] ⚡️⚡️ ELYNET Official Regular Updates on: September 22, 2019, 03:11:56 PM
I just checked the video at ELYNET.io site, and what they mentioned that Elynet users can use the data or mobile services anywhere in the world that too at almost 50% low cost. No roaming charges and many other benefits.
Not sure how easy or difficult it's to actually implement this solution.

I don't really know how they intend to do this but most times it involves the brand selling like their hardware to the public before one can use their services since it will be a sim-less thing but i'm looking forward to seeing this come to life, data in some regions is still quite expensive and if they can tap into the market and make available cheap data, then they got themselves a market

I thought they want to service just wireless communication via cellular calls. Is there a data service inclusion? Would be really nice to see that happen

According to the blog, there's no data service inclusion, but I believe that the most logical way to have a telecom project reach out to several people around the world without a sim should be with data. Though there could be some other way which could be more effective for the Elynet project to use.

Thought i saw like a data service thing in one of the comments on this thread or am i mistaken but i think it will be a good thing for them to include such services as the data is actually needed by a lot of communication users, in fact most people prefer having a good and cheap data service than the other way round, so it will be a good thing if they incorporate such

It is good to see that you have advantages over facebook and other social media as presented on your comparison table.
However, as everybody knows, adoption is the major struggle of a new platform.
How are you going to tackle this major obstacle and let users install your app and use it actively?

Hi thanks for your thoughtful question. We have a 3 prong approach to this.

1) We created our token, DRMR, so we could reward and incentivize active use with ownership of Dreamr and platform benefits associated with being a token holder.

2) We have developed a vast network of influencers over the years, and when the app launches we will drive a lot of traffic through these infleuncers declaring their dreams and guiding their audiences to check out dreamr.

3) We will make users dreams come true, and document these experiences in dreamr original content. Demonstrating the platform's value and giving back to our community will be a powerful marketing tool.

Additionally, to unlock our financial tools users must grow their network and develop a positive reputation score, measured in GDP, we believe this will incentivize people to onboard their friends/supporters from current social platforms if available.

You did well with breakdown of these stages. I'm keen to know the type of influences the team on boarded. Are we talking about crypto influencers or traditional social media influencers?

I'd prefer one over the other for your project.

Traditional social media influencers. We love blockchain, tokenization, and the ethos of the crypto community - but the dreamr platform is for everyone. We are creating the DRMR token to reward our most active community members with micro-ownership in the platform.

By micro-ownership, do you mean like a certain percentage of the brand will be give to loyalists?, if your answer is yes, like how many percentage are we looking at?, something that i once asked is how do you ensure that funds are given to the right individuals with the right intention and not just another wannabe scammer that tends to scam the community?

This seems to very interesting project. I have seen group of people coming together and helping eachother with money and tools to fulfill their dream. But that enough for small dream and such initiatives not helping to achieve big dreams. Good to see a global platform which can help in achieving big goals.
No doubt this will be a very successful project. I have seen a lot of people successfully collaborate on projects because they have a common mindset and idea or even different ideas.

At this platform people can help each other financially? Or it's different way of sharing /helping each other? I am trying to understand the way people will be receiving support to achieve their dreams

i believe when you share a dream you can get financial aid through fundraising, it gonna be possible through your network dreamers once your dream gets considerable traction then your network will raise fund for actualizing such dream.

Yea but just like i once stated when going through one of their articles, such should be done in the sense that before funds are giving to anyone, the individual should be properly screened, so it won't be a case whereby generated funds will be carted away by selfish individuals, i don't know how they plan to implement such but it should be something that needs to be addressed

I don't think it will be that hard if they intend to provide cheap data services like they intend to and they probably may use the iOS or android operating system to make this happen, i may be wrong though, its a lot of questions that needs to be answered, especially the hardware aspect, like do they intend to have like a collaboration with a major brand to develop this or what?

But with their own OS they also need to get the phone manufactures on board, right? Because only a few people would root their smartphones to install a new operating system?

Yea and i think that's where the issue of partnership comes in to enable them have a smooth ride in delivering their concept, it won't be a good idea to root the smartphones just to make their service work, the good thing about this is the bridging of gap that's about to be created between the blockchain industry and the conventional one, its a profitable industry but they need the right team and a lot of paperwork to scale through.

I see that the token sale is a security token offering, hold on an exchange (first time I guess). But even if your sale is regulated according to SEC rules, you cannot allow US-citizens to participate? Isn't the SEC an US agency?

United States is an highly regulated environment. It's the most legal incline country you ever know. SEC not allowing US investors confirms the facts. US participants however may have the opportunity of purchasing it on the exchange when it starts trading. So it's not really a loss for US citizens.

I have not seen any ICO, IEO, or STO which allows US investors to participate in tokens sale. This tells that, additional approvals are needed and project might need to spend more money and time for doing that. However I believe US people can buy tokens after it's gets listed?

Yea but if they can take care of it, no problem and it will be for the best of the project and their team to have citizens of the stated country to be part of this, it will help elevate the project to a good level, since most projects don't accept US citizens, so they should create lasting impression by providing an exceptional platform for users and the community as a whole

I have heard of security tokens before as well. But not sure what are the difference between security tokens and other (traditional )tokens. May I know what are the benefits of security tokens?

The main difference is we are a U.S. company, who has decided to not move abroad, so we maintain compliance with United States Securities laws. Because of this, we can do interesting things like peg our token to equity in the company to give it long term value as the network grows and the business becomes successful, where a token trying to avoid being labeled a Security would avoid this.

Good to see that you're here to sort and address some of the questions coming up, as this is necessary for adequate communication between the community and your brand, resulting in a healthy thread, do keep it up and don't relent, so in essence, US citizens can participate, since you intend going global, do you have plans in place of providing physical offices to users?

I’ll say on first check this would be a brilliant project, but I’ll like a link to your github page. It would be great to see how much work has been done on your project.
I see ElyNet is a South Korean Project (most team members are from South Korea) and seem to have a good link with LG Inc, does this mean your services would be limited to people in South Korea? And investors would be South Korean too?

I don't think the project would be limited to South Korean since its utilising blockchain technology and secondly, I read that the sim less network can be used anywhere in the world. Am personally thrilled by the details of the project, but am not surprised by the workability and potential of blockchain technology.

You're actually right and it will be best if they seek those countries that spend a lot on data, that should give them like a major yardstick for countries to go after and a good signal for business because the competition will be less once they issue out cheaper data services than what the specific country or countries are used to, i won't encourage them to go for anything outside that

It feels so good to know that a project which is committed to the achievement of the dreams of individuals has finally emerged. There's so much that could be accomplished when this project comes to mainstream considering the fact that several individuals would be equipped with the necessary tools and mindset necessary to accomplish their dreams.

Well, i went through some of their articles and what they have to offer, its quite a lot to assimilate as they seem to have various concepts that they are trying to accomplish, kinda seems like a lot but if they can pull this off, it will be a good thing in the community and also open doors for the conventional community to come in and explore the blockchain industry
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️⚡️[ANN] ⚡️⚡️ ELYNET Official Regular Updates on: September 19, 2019, 09:17:21 PM
I think your data service model without roaming would be a success. Using blockchain technology makes it possible to realize the transparency users deserves while using a mobile service network.
But first, you’ll have to meet the requirements of the regulatory organization in your country and also cross the hurdles of approval as a mobile network operator. Wishing you success.

Yea, you have a point, like how do they intend to provide such services without getting approved by the laws of most countries, especially if its a case where they will have like physical offices or something, i understand no one owns blockchain technology since the concept behind it is decentralized but then again, laws are coming up to checkmate brands from the industry

I visited the website and had to go through the Elynet team. I have to admit Elynet has got a outstanding team when you talk about having a good name and experience in public adoption and  development of new technology. Might not take so long to get the government support, but that’s a very important and needed factor for Elynet.

I have not been to their website yet to ascertain the validity of the whole thing but i'm pretty much interested on the aspect of worldwide adoption and how they intend to overcome the issue of people coming to terms that the project is not a conventional one that they are used not but its coming out from a strange industry to many which is the blockchain industry
