41  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: November 22, 2017, 06:34:40 AM
Bitcoin is really a good investment. ETH also, it should be thought that the virtual coins were good in 2017, and the ETH I bought grew by 300%
You are lucky to buy and hold eth. A lot of people have lost their chance of not catching up on their own opportunities.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: is MyEtherWallet is a safe place to stored? or use as wallet? on: November 22, 2017, 06:32:01 AM
i want to check if it is safe..
I'm still using myetherwallet and I feel it is very good if you do not reveal your private key. If you are attacked I think you should check your PC or you have been fooled by a phishing site to steal your information.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 88% of Japanese have heard of bitcoin -- how about your country? -- on: November 22, 2017, 06:27:53 AM
I'd be curious if Bitcoin Forum members can chime in on what the estimated awareness might be for their region or country:

  https://news.bitcoin.com/survey-japanese-bitcoin/

a quote:
"A recent survey of 10,000 men and women across Japan shows that 88% of them have heard of bitcoin. Among those that have bitcoin, 47% said that they have used it in retail stores but long-term investment is most respondents’ main reason for purchasing bitcoin."

In my country up to 60% know bitcoin because they see it in national media. But what they hear and see are the risks that bitcoins bring as well as if they use it, they may be offenders because my country bans bitcoin.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of Year Predictions For BTC Price on: November 22, 2017, 06:25:28 AM
So It's that time of year to start making predictions for next year, so I thought I would go ahead and see what everyone else thought about predictions for the end of year price for Bitcoin or BTC. Personally, I see it at about $8,000-$8,500. I think big investors looking at Bitcoin will wait until the New Year to start buying Bitcoin in order to save cost on accounting and taxes for this quarters numbers. What does everyone else think?
I do not think like you bitcoin just stopped $ 8000 - $ 8500 because nobody knows if anything happened. If there is event hard fork of bitcoin continue , I do not know how much it will increase.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: November 22, 2017, 06:21:46 AM
"Hacking and scams remain the top risk for Bitcoin holders. Exchanges that shut down or passwords stolen from devices can easily wipe out a person’s bitcoins. Moreover, governments and central banks from various countries are starting to impose limitations on the use of cryptocurrencies.

Digital coins clearly threaten the political and economic establishment, and the regulatory environment can quickly change with the stroke of a legislative pen. Banks and governments typically use familiar language in the media, such as the need to protect consumers from new risks.

We are hearing familiar talking points from politicians who are getting pressured from the banking lobby. It seems that the root cause of the status quo’s actions in 2017 is to protect fiat currencies and traditional financial interests. Competing digital coins represent a potential end to the government’s monopoly of the monetary system." - Bitcoin.com

What are the top risks for Bitcoin holders?

I personally more on fear of loss. that's all the rest I do not care.
I think every bitcoin holder always has anxiety though not too much. I think that's normal
It is normal for people to worry about their money and fear it could be stolen. But if you are careful not to use and join  web non-anonymous sites then you do not have to worry about anything.

47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] Genesis Vision Bounty campaign on: November 18, 2017, 01:22:07 AM
when will be the bounty distribution. Any idea??
I think this weekend tokens will be calculated.
and for distribution maybe about one more week.
GVT is listed in big markets like HitBTC, Binance, etc.
the current GVT price is pretty good. can not wait to sell it.
Value is good but burning too much GVT in total pool bounty made me really sad, nearly 2 months active I received 95 GVT * 2 $ ~ 190 $ LOL I was disappointed
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 15, 2017, 04:37:52 PM
In the beginning of 2017, the price for each bitcoin was only about $ 1000, but now it has grown seven times to $ 7,000, which is a miracle.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: November 15, 2017, 04:33:48 PM
Bitcoin is a new concept that can be explained to others, because it is complex and involves many problems. I think we should put bitcoin into school and teach
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If i have 10 Bitcoin I can do this on: November 15, 2017, 04:31:58 PM

57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are Vorhees and Ver becoming such crybabies? on: November 06, 2017, 03:32:12 AM
This question is very difficult to answer, because everyone's environment is not the same, everyone treats the problem angle is not the same. That's why 1% controls 99% wealth. Perhaps from a very long time, this is the case, because people want to survive, we must protect their own interests. Rich people think that wealth is what they get, they want to keep this right, always give their children. Continue!
People always want to become rich, until they become rich they will find ways to maintain their economy and develop it.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: November 06, 2017, 03:29:54 AM
What I like about bitcoin is easy to earn and easy to sell. If you earn and sell bitcoin, you don't need a very much identity about your self. It's so different if you used bank account
Can you be too optimistic about this, but bitcoin is not really easy to earn. If you do not have a big economy, you have to spend the time and effort to earn  bitcoins.
59  Other / Meta / Re: Is there a study guide here in the forum? on: November 06, 2017, 03:27:29 AM

60  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcoin Forums usage is Exploding on: November 06, 2017, 03:24:22 AM
now you have to research the amount of new post that are made each month more and you have obviously in this forum an exponential development

https://i.imgur.com/OsnW6HQ.jpg

for me this looks like a very huge growth
regards
i think all this growth is because shitdrops, massive spam in last two months most of them are bran new or newbie accounts with the same fucking post 'joined....'.
I think like you, there are so many new accounts appearing every day and the  spam appears in common, it makes the forums washy.
