Hello, I'd like to know how the 1 million BRK giveaway will work! Just play some freerolls?
Here is week 4 Mailer on Million BRK giveaway How do I participate? Why is this coin not so famous? Are there many people playing poker in BRK? The United States isn't allowed to participate....I think that it's only available to third world countries or something....dunno. There are plenty other more inclusive places to play poker, that's for sure! It's hard to make money playing poker against a bunch of broke blokes so I don't know how far they will get with their site by excluding such a large pool of liquidity. Daily fantasy is about the only legal sports betting option in the USA so I think it would be very effective if breakoutgaming supplied this as well. They are trying to do everything legal and not be in any grey areas but having US players that are able to participate is paramount. I am easily one of the top 10 owners of breakout but can't participate now because I live in the USA and I am sure there are other guys like me.

From my understanding its getting it built and regulated in to the system.
I urge all BRK/BRX owners to not make any deposits until BRK integration is completed meaning not only BRK deposits but BRK in-game currency. Basically there should be a boycott by all owners of breakout coin/stake to press the issue since this should have been completed months ago. I am a substantial owner and have followed for quite some time. I know response is always legal grey issue but there are many jurisdictions where it is legal right now. Once BRK is integrated with breakoutgaming.com then it would make sense to participate.

I thought the whole point of the project was to make BRK the in-game currency. It's just another gambling site funded by our bitcoin until this happens.

BRK needs to be the in-game currency. "Breakout Playa, SRL, doing business as Breakout Gaming, is planned by its principals as a use case for the new BRK currency, by denominating its ingame currency and units of play in BRK and by accepting BRK as a means for customer deposit or subscription or entry for gaming services." Breakoutpvp was denominated in BRK 8 months ago but breakoutgaming.com needs to be too. It is quite simple actually, if they follow through and make it the in-game currency BRK will be successful if they don't it is highly unlikely. All the other updates are only a fraction of this importance.

I checked the 3 day volume chart on https://isx.is/ and the volume for last 3 days was even slightly more now than before the big election in October. Again they aren't big numbers but it looks promising that people are utilizing the exchange and buying more auroracoin. I think people expected the pirate party to do better however if the pirate party got one seat or 30 I like the prospects of AUR.

What is interesting about this is that the market is 115 krona per euro, but the central bank wants 137.5 krona for every euro. Does anyone know why anybody would sell to the central bank at a 20% loss compared to market. And also how could the central bank pay in euros if the currency controls aren't lifted till Tuesday.
When you want to fill a large order that exceeds the liquidity of the market at current prices, you'll have to pay a higher price to find enough sellers. That's probably what was the case here, no? Well not entirely. They wanted their larger order filled and it surely exceeded liquidity. But in stead of paying a higher price for it (what would be the logical way of markets), they got a 20% lower price. Wish I could get those deals as well! Like put a buy order for 10k BTC @ $ 1000 and get it filled instantly, lol I wish I could too lol. I can't complain though I made 1 btc on trading today. Yay!

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-03-12/iceland-removes-krona-controls-more-than-eight-years-after-crashEven though Iceland supposedly removes capital controls on the krona, they are buying up international krona to try to keep it stable at a set rate. I think the market should truly decide price which makes auroracoin a good alternative. When the next recession hits people will predictively flee to other alternatives and auroracoin will be there. Here is a quote from article, "The government also announced on Sunday that the central bank bought about 90 billion kronur ($834 million) at 137.5 krona per euro from remaining offshore holders of the currency to “safeguard the economy against monetary, exchange rate, and financial instability.” There now remains about 100 billion kronur in such holdings. The krona traded at 114.95 per euro as of Friday. Restrictions will still be in place for some of the funds that won’t sell the central bank their offshore kronur at 137.5 per euro. They have another two weeks to complete the transactions, the central bank said." Bitcoin is still illegal in Iceland because any outflow of currency is not allowed which makes auroracoin even more interesting. Auroracoin was created in Iceland for the people of Iceland. In order to invest in cryptocurrency in Iceland, auroracoin is the only viable option now and an exceptional one. I like that auroracoin hasn't quite exploded yet allowing me time to slowly accumulate. I believe Auroracoin will become the "bitcoin" of Iceland someday where it will be utilized in everyday transactions at many businesses.

Version 2017.02.1.0 of the wallet software has now officially been released. https://github.com/aurarad/Auroracoin/releases/tag/2017.02.1.0This is a maintenance release. Updating is advised, but not required. - Improved wallet loading speed. - New checkpoints and updated seeds. - Versioning code improvements. - Minor in-wallet improvements. - Removal of testnet and regnet code. - Removal of Tor/Onion routing network support. The MacOSX build will follow later. Thanks for your notice . Auroracoin has come back again and it will be better than before. I need to buy more coins for holding long term. Auroracoin must be in the top tens of altcoins worth buying and holding for long term. You read my mind. Obviously I love bitcoin but auroracoin is my second favorite one that I own and that is saying something since I own 8 other cryptocurrencies besides those two. I bought up another 5.7k stack of AUR to bring my total to 21.7k AUR.
