Fantastic! My concern is mainly on the Poloniex deal as most of us who HODLed HUC at the time of the snapshot were HODLing them on Poloniex as per your guidance at the time (the HUC snapshot guide on the official websites were stating the two possible options which was either on the official wallet or on Poloniex). The more time goes by the more I'm worried that Poloniex won't held their part of the bargain... I know you don't have a say in their politics but that's why I'm worried about loosing my coins, full disclosure I used to hold 60k HUC on Poloniex at the time of the snapshot so loosing that would be a disaster for me Sad

Anyway, keep up with the good work Wink

Just to make sure I understand the project... HUC snapshot was in 2016 and the tokens might be tradable in 2019 am I understanding the time frame properly?

Quote
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

Hi guys, it's been a while since I haven't post in that thread and being an early HUC holder (was holding on Polo during the snapshot) I'm being concerned about that project. Almost a year ago the CHIs were due to be released 'soon' and now all I can see on the CHI website and their newsletters are promotional content for their endless ICOs (pre-sale, closed public pre-sale and so on... ironic of course ;-))... I said it already but I hope the team is not losing focus on the initial goal which is to build the project as for almost a year I haven't heard about any technical update Sad

From the outside it starts to look more and more like a dead project, desperately moving its arms to keep it from drowning (in that case that means struggling to raise funds after the storm).

In September last year I was already telling that time to market is critical... if they miss the 'wave' its too late so don't get me wrong I still hope they deliver but I'm sharing my thoughts with the community and hope it will help us get some more technical updates instead of the almost year long financial ad campaign... Deliver a good project and money will come, remember what you did with HUC, no need for crazy ICOs, you missed the timing for that (ICOs) so focus on the product as it alone can save the project.

Wishing you the best,

Dear @Fabricus,

I'm truly sorry to hear your bad experience with us, I understand your frustration.
You were correct, there were an error within our Monero daemon and the money showed up by now.
I personally checked as some other customer complained about the same issue, please accept our most sincere apologies and forgive our support as he wasn't able to fully validate.

I've now added the funds to your account and some more as compensation.

Sorry again.

EDIT: We can also issue you a full refund to your wallet as per our ToS (minus the miner fee)

Thanks for getting back to me and for the apology. I'm glad the matter was solved even though it doesn't change the fact that your customer support considered turned me down without even looking at my evidence (screenshots) and basically considered me being a liar. That's not very professional and I hope you'll improve other time (I know there are many scammers in the place but usually when a customer is complaining about a bug and is willing to both send some evidence AND pay again this is no scammer behaviour so give him/her a shot ;-)).

Hi everyone, just for information I've ordered a VPS with them and there is apparently a bug with there system when trying to pay with Monero so I wouldn't advise to try that payment method.

I've made the payment twice and none went through (obviously I copy / pasted the url) in time (as there is a 15 minutes window to make the payment and it's waiting for 5 confirmations).

Anyway, I have some screenshots to backup my statements but that's not relevant to publish them here. I'd like to add that the customer service is quite fast but not very friendly as I was basically treated like if I was lying (even telling then I can provide some evidence of my unfortunate experience) and the conversation ended bluntly as they closed the ticket without any refund nor providing any server by the way.

Bottom line is: I've lost roughly $20 worth of Monero and I won't be using their services again but maybe I contacted them on a bad day. Well, that was my experience at least.

An update post as I've just received my order today... So it's not a scam but the delays are just insanely long (ordered on the 30th of Nov. 2017 - received it on the 19th of Jan. 2018) and customer support is non existent (two emails - no answer). But the quality of the product is really good so for some that might be worth the wait Wink

A quick update here... I finally receive my order (and it's really one of the most beautiful metal card I've seen). So it's apparently not a scam but delays are damn fucking long (ordered on the 30th of November 2017 - received the order on the 18th of Jan. 2018). and their customer is non existent (I've sent two mails - no answer). But they delivered so... not a scam Wink
19  Economy / Service Discussion / Is Cryobit a scam? on: January 12, 2018, 09:12:58 PM
Hi there,

It more like a customer feedback but just in case someone is considering a purchase with them please don't!

I've ordered a Bitcoin Metal Card / Wallet on their website on Nov. the 30th 2017 and haven't receive any feedback since (apart from an automatic email saying that my order is 'complete').

After a month I sent them an email to get some news but they haven't even responded to my inquiry and it's been a couple weeks so I'm pretty damn sure my money is gone now. Money is not the main issue, it's mostly the sentimental aspect as this was supposed to be a gift for a my little one but what's done is done.

At least I get to warn the community, please don't buy from https://www.cryobit.co/ they are probably just looking for your money there is no product delivered!

Hi, I'm just posting a reply in case someone is considering buying one of their product (Cryobit). They've taken my order but I haven't receive any news or feedback for a month. After sending an email to the customer to get some feedback I'm still waiting for an answer so I'm pretty sure this is not a legit business. My money might be gone but at least I get to warn the community. Don't buy from them!
