My suggestion is to start with smaller exchanges and then go to the big ones.
Usually the big exchanges has big players that kill coin rates for fun! and a quick buck..

try nova then bleutrade then ccex/yobit bittrex polnx

its just my observation from whatever time i've spent at these exchanges trading.
you guys know better though since you've been around for a long time..

price last traded on coinex was 5500 satoshis..  

but yet again without volumnes its hard to say if this can be sustained.
The gap was like almost 3500 satoshis between buyer and seller a few mins back.
glad to see a buyer at 5500 sats. Strong buying at high prices is really gud.. like that..

I was holding VC for a while, then realized there is no point holding too long else its good money in paper & faith.
Its not good until you sell and realize the gains - well at least part of it.

I sold of most of my VC at different levels anticipating a fall as payments realize after 2000 blocks.
Initially I thought this is something that will increase the price of VC since it cannot really be dumped while its mined at the same time.
Please the block reward calculation is unique.. that should help the price I thought..

But that hasn't resulted in any positive movement as such. Think that is only cause of the exchange it is on..!
Its opened an account in coinexchange only to trade VC. I did not find anything interesting there to trade..

There needs to be at least 1 or 2 more exchanges that list VC. For any kind of movement in the prices.
On coinexchange, since the users arent that active you may see sharp ups n downs in the prices but with no volumes - thats no good!!

In the long run, if the currency can be traded easily it will grow.
To make it acceptable, you cannot reach out to only handful of people. You ought to reach many many more individuals.
Whether these people mine or not. The more reach the better chance of acceptance. With acceptance the value/wealth will be UNLOCKED.

Done with my speech.. cannot stress more of the need for more exchanges.. a good coin needs to be accessible too.

May i suggest you build a page for the blocks with hourly, daily, weekly/monthly trends much like on other pools.
Its easier to look through vs copying all on a spreadsheet and doing the math.
It will be a nice value add to your site..

neither does VC show up on your website anymore.. not sure what is the issue..

now the backup pool is accepting shares but nothing is showing up on the website..
the rounds/payments page also doesnt show any shares yet..

Been many hours now that its not working..

when are likely to see VC on other exchanges? to be honest, coinexchange doesnt have much volumes not just for VC but for most of the coins..
yobit, bittrex our even nova would be good..

Was happy to see that high price yest with lisa.. but then now there are barely any takers at even 1 satoshi.
I think m gonna had some hashrate to lisa coin. have some additional hash to spend, mite as well try to get it moving..

the problem is, I picked up a truck load of these coins at 1 satoshi and now i cant do anything with it since its stuck.. :-(
this is an everyday thing with this coin i guess..
the wallet is stuck everyday for many hours with no movement. works only for an hour or 2 in a day.

Not happening.. If you want the coin to do well, u ought to sort this out quickly else interest will die.. at least my interest will die this way..

A quick question..

I downloaded the latest win32 wallet from github.
On installing it, I see this message..
"No block resource available" "2 years and 37 weeks behind"

The problem is that no data is being downloaded yet?
Am I missing something?
What should I do to get it working..

it depends on the number of blocks & the current difficulty.
Below is an example from http://miningpool.thruhere.net for my earnings..
For the current difficulty the reward is 44. More diff more is the reward.. i could be wrong, but that is what I understand so far.
