Yes it will probably take time for such high profits to become a reality. When you start a business in your neighborhood you don't usually have 1000 regular customers on the opening day.

Well I guess they can start paying out dividends from the beta platform, but they will be measly pennies, since not a lot of money are rolling there. And what will happen is this - people will start coming over crying "Are those the long awaited dividends, some lousy fractions of cents" and someone's going to explain to them that it's just beta, not much money involved, but they won't be satisfied cause they've come here to rage, not to get explanation, then more will come and ask the same thing of course, nobody will ever bother to read the previous posts or inform themselves in any way. Just go on some forum and rage.

The dude above me I'm not sure, I guess he wants to hear the latest news. Just go on Reddit or read the previous pages in this thread, or go to ICONOMI's medium and read it all firsthand.

We don't need news for temporary pumps and dumps. We need dividends and for that we need everything else completed. So basically what we need is for the devs to work, work, work!

While in the short run it might lower ICN and other alt coins price, I think the ETH and BTC rally is good for all of us in the crypto world. Imagine how much publicity and fresh money will cryptocurrencies receive if BTC hits 2000$.

The whales that are moving the price of ICN up and down by trading that 1% are probably holding a lot more tokens than they dump on the markets.

Everybody knows that the real price of ICN will be seen in the future when platform starts making profits and attracts customers and dividends start being paid out. In the meantime however it's understandable for traders to try to profit from the price volatility, it's natural.

To tell you all the truth I am amazed that ICN is being traded as high as it is now, because the price is based entirely on people's belief that the project will succeed, there is literally nothing else giving the token real value at the moment. That's amazing and shows how much confidence everyone has in ICONOMI.

Yes, that's the most likely explanation. I just offered a less probable alternative to it.

Of course they will dump. There's going to be lots more pumps and dumps before platform starts working, before dividend payouts and all.

Love how his "big dump" has been "yet to come" since December, while at the same time ICN has pumped several times.

I heard a rumor that some exchanges(maybe even polo) might be behind the organized fud-ing of ICN, since they might lose some of their business to the ICONOMI OFM platform.

We got a good glimpse at the beta.
