3  Other / Meta / Re: question about selling hero member accounts... on: August 10, 2014, 04:44:14 AM
Yes it's frowned upon but really as long as you don't disclose the account your selling there's not much that can be done to stop it.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need help in advertising! There are 2 7-11s that will start taking bitcoin. on: August 10, 2014, 02:09:58 AM
Free slurpee with every bitcoin purchase. Smiley
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there room for a State Run Cryptocurrency? on: August 10, 2014, 02:08:17 AM
If each country adopted its own coin then it would remove one of bitcoins greatest features which is that it is an indiscriminate, borderless currency.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Am I the only one who wants bitcoin to tank? on: August 09, 2014, 01:14:12 PM
I don't understand this logic at all. If you truly believe that bitcoin is resilient and will rise to greater heights then buy now @580 USD while it is down 50%!!! from its ATH.
7  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are people's stance on CEX.IO on: August 09, 2014, 01:09:03 PM
I've personally never seen the point of GHASH as it's likely you will only end up receiving 80% of your investment back at best, unless of course the difficultly suffers a dramatic drop off.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Solution to poverty - Socialism or Capitalism? on: August 09, 2014, 01:07:34 PM
I think the ideal scenario is a mix of socialism and capitalist elements. Cause full out marxism is too extreme and there will always be greed, an innate human trait. Smiley
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin stable now? on: August 09, 2014, 08:06:16 AM
Yeah it will remain stable for a while until the next big event which will hopefully be the catalyst for a rally Cheesy

12  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many Bitcoins needed to retire in 5-6 years? on: August 09, 2014, 07:02:30 AM
Depends whether or not you want to cash them all out upon quitting your job or sell them off over a period of time.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone made a comfortable living only investing in crypto trends? on: August 09, 2014, 07:00:08 AM

14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best possible crypto investment | $100 to $4,188,800 | 41888% ROI on: August 09, 2014, 06:43:29 AM
Hindsight 20/20 as i doubt anyone had the foresight or good fortune to do this. Interesting nonetheless.
15  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: August 09, 2014, 06:39:21 AM
It's the wild west of the forum haha. Seriously though there's a new thread every minute so it's a nightmare to moderate. Good luck to you in your application though.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: mining with smartphone on: August 09, 2014, 06:37:37 AM
If you want to melt your phone to make 0.0001 cents then go for it Cheesy
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: 87% of EVERY password associated with cryptocurrencies HAS BEEN Breached! on: August 09, 2014, 06:34:11 AM
Uhhh i thought the 1.2 billion accounts were just random email accounts that are not necessarily related at all to crypto
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will full BTC adoption require Retailers to ONLY accept BTC? on: August 09, 2014, 04:24:31 AM
Nope. That will never happen. But that's ok cause as long as many see it as a viable payment option then it has succeeded.
19  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PrimeDice Is A Scam! on: August 03, 2014, 09:23:25 AM
Don't pay attention to most of the trolls posting below, I know they will. Re read the message and try it for yourself.

ANYONE who even posts within 1 hour of posting, is obviously a troll, as they haven't tried the method out for themselves.

Im not saying you cannot profit, you may profit, but they are lying about odds, its not 1% house odds.

Go preroll or bet, bet Over 49.50, do this about 500-1000 times automated betting.

Realize, your biggest loss streak, will be 15+

Now, go bet Under 90.

Do not keep track of wins/loses, keep track of how many times your roll goes under 50.

You will see the biggest streak under 50, is around 5-7. NEVER WILL GO TOO HIGH.

Now, if you do not believe me go try it out.

If you still think it's a random roll...it's not. How can the streak's change? UNLESS the site was rigged, to change the odd's according to the win percentage.

Another theory I have which isn't quite strong, try betting .000005's on under 90. constantly. Watch how you will win so much.

Now try betting .1's on under 90. Watch how you will lose a lot. 90+ happens way more than 90% of the time.

What 90% means, in the long run, 100 rolls, 90 you will win. 10 you will lose. But notice if you preroll even 40 90's in 200 rolls. Raise your bets, watch how much you will lose.

I would advise to stay away.

Nothing in this post proves anything other than that you were unlucky.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wikipedia cashed out their BTC donations and price sunk on: August 03, 2014, 09:15:16 AM
Isn't the normal daily trade volume of btc around 20,000? I doubt wikipedia would have received more than 500 in donations so its very unlikely they would have affected the price at all.
