its hard to get out of ripple because once you buy in on a pump, you get trapped in a downtrend that doesn't give another pump to get out on.

ripple doesn't do up trends. Its always a slow downtrend than a quick pump and dump.

The market is a mess right now. Random pumps and dumps with no news for no reason. Some down 20% some up 40-50%, its a shot in the dark and nothing short of gambling right now. Some people get lucky a few times and now they are experts lol. Don't get caught in the pumps right now you will end up getting burned eventually. Buy low and sell high is the most important advice to remember.

BCH is causing the alt market to become a mess. Random coins getting pumped or dumped for no reason, very little news. Ive never seen the alt market look like this. Trading right now is a gamble, but of coarse some people becoming an expert after making a few lucky trades lol lets see how your strategy is working after a year of trading alts.

Altcoins need the right conditions to thrive. The market doesn't like uncertainty in bitcoin. It doesn't like massive bull runs or big corrections in bitcoin. The altcoin market likes a stable sideways moving or very slow increase/decrease in bitcoin. Wild swings and big news like hardforking doesn't give altcoins a good environment to thrive in.
