Howe is not a big name, but a coach who I liked and thought that he deserved a bigger chance. However, this feels too big and too early for him. Still, Newcastle had to do something - they are in a real relegation battle.

Iam busy this week and I missed so many Champions League match which is certainly quite interesting to watch.
I was surprised by the results of some Champions League matches this week especially the match between PSG vs Leipzig and Manchester United vs Atalanta. PSG and Manchester United should have won their respective match but had to end it with a draw. Even so, PSG and Manchester United have a great chance to qualify for the next round but must ensure that with one more win.
Some of the leaders in the current group have already qualified for the next stage and some are still fighting for more point. Of course it would be very interesting if the team had to confirm it in the last match of the group stage. I'm happy that finally Barcelona also won 2 match to give him a chance.

^ Barca has fallen into a loop. They cannot spend, so they cant get good players, so they cannot win, so cannot get the prize money, so they cannot spend. The only way to recover from this is to give it time. And I agree with you that for the next 2 or 3 years they need to aim for the top 4 spots and try to survive their best in the CL so they can at least get a sizeable amount of money from that. Nothing but only time can heal this crisis of Barca.
Barca already has players that are good enough to show result but the club needs a qualified coach. Real Sociedad is taking the 1st spot in La Liga table but the team doesn't have star players. It's quite interesting to see the La Liga standings this season, the clubs that used to be at the bottom and middle of the standings are now starting to dominate the top La Liga standings and it looks like maybe only Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are the two big clubs that are competitors for teams like Real Sociedad, Real Betis and Sevilla, it seems that now small teams are starting to take advantage of the barcelona slump in the league and they are trying to compete to win the La Liga trophy so far which has been dominated by Barcelona and Real Madrid. |

There is no advantage at all because Pogba is not going to be playing in this match and Varane is currently injured (again). Some minor reason on why Manchester United won the last match against Tottenham was because Varane was playing a good part defending the goal line so yeah its going to be another struggle against Manchester City Aside from that, some fans are still mad with Ole so the atmosphere in Old Trafford would be intimidating even for Ole so that would really put some pressure on him. If Manchester United somehow win this one then Ole can still breathe for few more upcoming matches though Varane absence is indeed quite painful for manchester united, but I think Eric Bailly will be an ideal replacement for varane to guard Manchester United defense in that match, for pogba itself, I actually see if pogba has not been able to show his best performa in the last few games, especially when they were beaten by liverpool and drew against atlanta, you can see that pogba made a lot of mistakes in that game and maybe it would be better if pogba didn't play in the derby later. In three days, we have a really nice Manchester derby in Old Trafford. I can't say that their last two head-to-heads in this stadium were quite exciting as the results were 0-0 and 2-0. But we can watch a much more exciting match this time I believe. Because we have Ronaldo also and he can still be a game changer. And considering the recent performance of Manchester United, I wonder if they will succeed in winning this derby. Ole tries a new game plan including two forwards on the front.
