801  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What type of programming language should I use to create a website like CMC? on: May 19, 2019, 04:32:15 PM
If you wanted to go fast, I think going with what you already know is a good go. Plus consider the amount of time you can dedicate learning adding security features using the langguage you are already good at.

Security of the coding language depends a lot on the coding architecture and which codes are executed client-side vs on server. Purely saying one coding language is bad over the other is kinda incorrect. But then there's the compiler issue, but discussing that would be off topic since this is web development.

I think the best framework would be django and node.js - also it'd be important to remember that node js is not a language but a web dev framework.
802  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallet name suggestion on: May 19, 2019, 01:44:46 PM
This was pretty uneventful. I'll be closing this down soon. No names are chosen by me but there will be a winner.

805  Local / India / Re: Crypto hearing in Supreme Court today on: May 17, 2019, 12:47:48 AM
now next supreme court hearing on 25th july

Shitpost. Reported. We know.

However, it is important to note that Coinome has shut down since this new date was revealed while, rumors of facebook's own Libra is getting louder every day - something that could top the balance of discussion for cryptos in this country.
On the other hand Indian ministers and officials continue to paint Bitcoin in the wrong light because implementing such a currency in the payments system would mean they'd actually have to lift up a finger and work... Something that is against the ethos of the "Indian gov. salaried employee"

806  Local / India / Re: Anybody want to invest in coin project? on: May 17, 2019, 12:46:51 AM
But I am curious about this "international image" he speaks of.
How dare you question someone like that, he might reveal that he is Satoshi in disguise or even Craig Wright  Cheesy

If he's Craig he'll hear a mouthful from me.. my disgust for that man and the shit he and Calvin are trying to pull is well documented in this forum.
807  Economy / Services / Re: Unique content (gambling related) on: May 17, 2019, 12:44:54 AM
Well, I bought and paid good money for all this stuff so obviously I make sure it is unique/original when buying... Wink

Can you inbox me a screenshot of some of this content so I can read them? I have a gambling blog maybe I can use them if the quality and price is right.
808  Economy / Services / Re: Bounty managers on: May 17, 2019, 12:43:28 AM
I think you should get an ann designer to join you guys and then make a better ann thread. That would be better because all of your competition already has attractive threads with visual information properly laid out.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: BUYING ALL MAJOY ALTCOINS....PAYOUT IN BITCOIN on: May 17, 2019, 12:41:33 AM
Since you are looking for altcoins then Altcoin marketplace would be the good place https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0
So move your thread there and also edit that "MAJOY" thing yet I do believe that's "MAJOR" altcoins.

But he is also paying in Bitcoins so I think it is totally okay for him to post here.
but I wonder who would sell to him instead of exchanges? and if he would buy non exchange coins as well or not.. op? can you explain?
810  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Looking 4 Help] Bringing the next big thing to life on: May 16, 2019, 05:37:48 PM
Are you aware of how many "decentralized video platforms" exist right now? Why on earth would people be interested in what you haven't yet developed when they have Antonio Banderas and Johnny Depp aligning themselves with projects like Tatatu? Unless you have boatloads of money or the next Einstein, your idea won't succeed.

This type of project is needing good amount of money not just in setting it up, getting good people to man the project and then making sure that the project can get on the ground by promoting it to get people to use it. Remember that YouTube was not profitable for many years until such time that it already exploded and establish the name in that industry. Now, if the project can target like a niche and can offer unique selling propositions then why not? Go for it and make a crowdsale for the project...and I am hoping the project can gain some share in an overcrowded market.

That's what I have been thinking as well. What about the competition? How does this platform theoretically differ from the likes of Twitch? Okay yeah, centralization is one, but the way streamers and the platform makes any money is through viewers, how does OP wish to get viewers? What about Play2live, Theta token, Livepeer etc?

812  Local / India / Re: Anybody want to invest in coin project? on: May 15, 2019, 03:24:24 PM

I believe you're an Indian. So my friendly suggestion is that, don't start a coin from Indian soil as India is not a very friendly country for virtual currencies. Majority of the crypto companies are shutting down their businesses from India. Coinome is the latest addition to this list!

He can create a coin here, he can even hire people to create a virtual coin here. As long as he is not engaging in any monetary transaction that leads to him gaining capital, he'll be fine.
OP should only consider moving to a different country when he has some investors lined up.

But I am curious about this "international image" he speaks of.
813  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Cloudbet Signature Campaign | Member - Legendary | Local Posters Wanted! on: May 13, 2019, 06:43:38 AM
If you find shitty contents just report them and it will be handled by the moderators.

It's not the right place to discuss this. But I have about 40 unhandled posts from Indian board alone.
814  Economy / Services / Re: Pay you up to 50$ per post | telegram ICO channel owners Check this ✍️ on: May 13, 2019, 04:13:12 AM
Getting 1000 members in Tele is piss easy. But I don't think the OP is actually from a single project but rather an agent who'd resell this service to someone else. Possibly multiple projects.

More details from OP would be appreciated.
815  Economy / Reputation / Re: The Case of the sinning Saint on: May 12, 2019, 10:10:35 AM

Why not just use the links with your own post ? It's not really necessary copy paste and use reference link. Why not write your own article and add more link for reference?

Because its the Indian section. bhai moderator toh hai nahi, koi bhi aake kuchh bhi bak raha hai. - I mean, since we have no moderator, any tom dick and harry is coming here and posting shit and getting away with it.

Edit: BTW why your thread is in self moderated mode?  Huh And why a post had already been deleted by you? WOW! Is it a trap?

I deleted 1 post because @33bitcoin called you gay. I wasn't going to let this thread go to shits like most of your shitposts.  Nothing between you and me is personal and I am not letting some douchebag come here and call someone gay or any other form of insults.
816  Economy / Reputation / Re: The Case of the sinning Saint on: May 12, 2019, 10:08:24 AM

You first defamed me by accusing me of "plagiarized post" for a simple news while my post had a link, a title in bold, a clear journalistic style and last but not least was posted in a thread called "(Newsflash)".

wow.. tldr to the rest of your message but a really good job in understanding the title of a thread that clearly states "How Indian Govt. cheated the whole nation (NewsFlash)" - I don't understand how you are actually expecting anyone to assume that you just saw "newsflash" and jumped in to say copy paste an unrelated topic article without a single word written by yourself.

Seriously, are you dumb? or pretending to be? I don't understand. And I don't want to. Stop what you're doing and put an end to this drama of yours saying that I am here to defame you.

Looks like we have another cherry picker here!

Listen, I don't care about which campaign you stay in or you don't. If your shitposts disturb the experience of any average user and especially for a nobody like me, then I will raise my voice.

I don't understand why your local French moderator keeps meriting you and how you amassed all that merit when you are clearly incapable of understanding a simple sentence.

I've said enough, I've made my case. You had your chance to respond. Now, this thread is going to be locked. You sir, you can go back to earning merits. If I find you shitposting again, I will create another thread and I will tag you. What happens after that, that'll no longer be my concern.

817  Other / Meta / Re: Should Signature Campaigns be moved to their own sub-boards? on: May 12, 2019, 03:42:23 AM
I was hunting for active signature campaigns to participate in.. and yes I have to agree with OP.. campaigns should be moved to their own sub-boards. It will keep the service section organized and help keep the active campaigns stay relevant and not be buried by service offerings and what not..

-edit-

I might have overspent my merits here  Grin Grin

lol thanks to your overspending of sMerits I have some for the OP.

I guess my initial intention is now fulfilled.

PS: I'd merit you OP but I'm all out.
818  Economy / Reputation / Re: Am I a friend or foe of Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2019, 03:02:47 AM

It's done - I've pressed the reboot button.  Now we will see what comes of it.   You can lie to Theymos, but not the government.  Smiley

And are you sure that there's not even 1% chance of you being wrong? Even with your track record of never being wrong? Otherwise, you'd have caused this person a huge amount of money just so he can defend himself.

idk man, you do you. GL with all this BS I'm out.
819  Economy / Reputation / Re: Am I a friend or foe of Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2019, 02:48:25 AM
I hate you. I've always hated you. That's because you are right most of the times. But when I came around you too were critical of me. So was Tomatocage and basically everyone that abused me on that Exotic car brokering thread.

Anyways. I do think that reporting someone for scammy shit - no matter their rank or stature is the right thing to do. Even if that person is legitimate they will prove their legitimacy through the trial that the community puts them through. You did that, always and for that I like you.

However, it will disrupt the immediate business plans of that guy. Which is a good thing if he was a scammer, to begin with, otherwise you've ruined someone's life dream based on a hunch. And sir, no matter how good your hunch is, without evidence, it still is a hunch.

And please don't doxx someone. The reason most of us joined crypto is because we like our privacy, not because we want to hide something, its because 'we like our privacy'.

"Be careful over at Bitcointalk guys, if you make them mad they'll send the feds to raid you."

Infinity better than "Do what you want at Bitcointalk guys, they turn a blind eye to crime if they can make money."
Actually no.

You are essentially extorting other forum members to scare them out of not being critical of you out of fear you will make frivolous reports of crimes to start an investigation by the SEC (which is very expensive on the part of the person being investigated, even if there is no wrongdoing).

And I hate to admit it, Quikie is on the point here.

If you believe anyone is running a big enough game for 6 years, then put the funds together, you old timers are millionaires, you guys can afford a private detective agency. Gather evidence and THEN report to whichever authority you please.

But even then, do not publicly dox someone, it ruins lives and the punishment that the doxxed person faces is beyond any reasonable scale and financially crippling.
820  Economy / Reputation / Re: The Case of the sinning Saint on: May 12, 2019, 02:39:46 AM
based on what Ive seen in the meta, he will be perm banned.  Seen people perm banned for a couple lines of plagiarized content.  That indian probably needs that campaign to survive, oh well, gg.

Read again. I explicitly mentioned he's a Frenchman. In case you don't know what that means - He's from France. I am from India. Please don't refer to us as "that Indian" or that guy as "that French guy" that's not a nice way to address someone.
