Hi All, We've released a small update to our Node-Noodle https://github.com/ConsulTent/Node-Noodle/ Masternode monitoring software. It's released under the GPL, and we'd love for people to add their own coins to it for monitoring. It's as easy as changing a json file and doing a PR. It was created for those of us who host our own Masternodes and need some kind of notification system when things go wrong. Thanks!

Why not use the Zerocoin protocol?

Was literally thinking about something like this coin, this week... pretty uncanny.

I see "purely in Java", and I ran.... I ran so far away.. I just ran... I ran all night and day.... couldn't get away....

[We'll announce the roadmap later] Ok so for now it's all about promises, there's nothing done and this is just like any other masternode coin, with the hope all this stuff gets integrated in the future. I'm curious how you will do all of this by being a dash clone (or actually what coin is the wallet based?) and being based in the quark algo. It sounds amazing believe me! I'm definitely skeptic for now and will only judge when I see progress being made Not a DASH clone. ZCoin clone. The roadmap is identical to ZCoin as well.

I hope zcoin is not the next bitconnect... Are you next Carlos? Because that makes about as much sense.

This new age crypto scene makes me laugh. He promised to dump gradually and you guys are cool with that. A dev who is serious about his or her coin will not dump anything for at least 6-12 months and focus on creating protocol to make the aforementioned coin viable for years to come but this new age crypto enthusiast have no idea what am talking about. Keep investing in bullshit and crying wolf when shit hits the fan. Some of you never learn. What's the problem? I like to take dumps gradually too. If you strain too hard you're liable to pop something.

Is there a way to increase syncing speed? My masternode is on a Vultr vps. The syncing of the masternode can't keep up with the increment of the blockchain, so it is getting more and more behind. I have 512mb memory and 2GB swap. How can I speed this up?
There's no way in hell you can run this coin with 512mb of ram. With config options, expect it to gobble up 4gb of ram trying to swallow it's blockchain. With options (I posted a few above) it'll use 1gb of ram. Here's the proof: top - 19:39:59 up 30 days, 15:36, 1 user, load average: 0.17, 0.17, 0.22 Tasks: 21 total, 1 running, 20 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie %Cpu(s): 0.2 us, 0.6 sy, 1.5 ni, 97.8 id, 0.0 wa, 0.0 hi, 0.0 si, 0.0 st KiB Mem: 4194304 total, 1915204 used, 2279100 free, 0 buffers KiB Swap: 524288 total, 111496 used, 412792 free. 1110980 cached Mem

I'm running 2 MN coins. Bitcloud and 8bit on the same container. Compare.

1) Use bootstrap or install parsed blockchain 2) I forgot about forks since I use 1GB ram + 2GB swap I still don't get it: atm the load average of the vps is between 0.00 and 0.10, so it is idle. Memory in use is 66%. Disk activity is zero for minutes. Syncing is still not finished and is to slow to catch up to the current block. Another strange thing is that "./8bitd getinfo" takes a very long time to respond So because it is almost not using resources I would say it has something to do with connections. The number 0f connections is 8, but it seems like it takes to long for the information to come in. Is there something i can change in the 8bit.conf to speed that up? The code for this coin is ancient. It gobbled up 4gb of ram on my vps before. From what I can tell, it's using really old bitcoin core code in there, and you need to tune some params. Try adding these to the conf: maxconnections=20 dbcache=64 mempool=64 Still, mine is using nearly 1gb of ram.

How many coins a Masternode receive Daily ?
0.88 x 3 or 4. around that. Really? It varies a lot in my experience. Sometimes 3 a day, sometimes 3 days nothing. Yeah, closer to 3 days nothing. Pretty disappointing.

I registered 16bit.party, all the way through to 256bit.party
All the way? Did you reserve 17bit.party, 18bit.party ... 255bit.party too? Of course it's in increments of 8bits. Why would you think otherwise? Agree 112 coin is low anyway roadmap looks good, i bought some and will follow this coin
While I agree, those of us running masternodes will suddenly find ourselves without one. Perhaps a premine for current MN owners to do a swap, and then burn the rest. No way this could work. Do you offer to give MN holders 10x more than everyone else? Then almost everybody will pretend to run MN just before the swap. And the remaining ones will shout "scam", and declare (not unreasonably) they were robbed. Forget it. If there will be swap, it should be fair to everyone. If someone doesn't have enough coins for MN, let him buy more. Why not? Everyone who owns 112 8bit coins can exchange for however many it takes to run a new MN. That will also solve the problem of having either 0 masternodes on day one, or the dev premining coins to run his own masternodes until there are more masternodes. Give a deadline, and do it only for validated accounts. I don't see a big deal.

Since many people already know it, no need to keep it secret anymore - indeed, incoming 8BIT version will use PIVX codebase. However, it will be not pure clone, the goal is to use current chain with this code base, therefore many things need to be changed (ie hashing algo).
That sounds pretty good. If you're interested, I registered 16bit.party, all the way through to 256bit.party (that last one was because of issues with the registrar). If you want to use any of them just let me know, no charge.

Great!!! Common community!! We need to show reddit we're growing and moving forward!! Upvote Tara11 post and share your post link!! Tara11, send me your address please https://imgur.com/a/W4JbLThat roadmap looks fucking great. That's the same roadmap I saw after Tesla was run over by a car, and the FBI stole his roadmap.

Does anyone have the 64bit windows wallet? It seems the link on here and on http://www.tesla-coin.com/ to mega.nz is broken. Can the dev update the links? Only the 32bit link is there... Also, I seem to be stuck on block 1152097

Mobile wallets for ARC is almost done! On the testing now Why would anyone bother with this shit coin? I had no support re. errors on my masternode from the forums. My masternode, after it was up and working fine for about a month, minted nothing. Support forum is Russian only. But hey, have fun!

I'm not sure WTF is wrong with this coin. I've been running a masternode for a while. A while meaning specifically: GMT: Saturday, September 30, 2017 9:10:24 AM I've generated a total of 3.5 coins during this time. The generated coins though, do not appear properly in the transaction list. See here: [ { "account" : "0", "address" : "8Pau5vQDRCmiEV7gCAadsNZqTkBnFp8Lii", "category" : "receive", "amount" : 112.00000000, "confirmations" : 10489, "blockhash" : "deddbe5ff197759ceb26a30ca3b09dd473f748f2ea93dfbe585e08928c931347", "blockindex" : 2, "blocktime" : 1506762624, "txid" : "200b70e141ba2c3c23bb8577c779a63bd919034c451bdcb47cb0297b28c23df7", "time" : 1506762624, "timereceived" : 1506865301 }, { "account" : "0", "address" : "8Pau5vQDRCmiEV7gCAadsNZqTkBnFp8Lii", "category" : "generate", "amount" : 0.00000000, "confirmations" : 6509, "generated" : true, "blockhash" : "d3175ab2198193fcdf0de3ac6c1d8933028d30833e3f84a5cfe9dd1f0304b249", "blockindex" : 1, "blocktime" : 1507030704, "txid" : "3adf0c2e8ea718016ebe3931d90b3649f35bcb8eb2cd949a40804d1f15bdd839", "time" : 1507030704, "timereceived" : 1507030718 }, { "account" : "0", "address" : "8Pau5vQDRCmiEV7gCAadsNZqTkBnFp8Lii", "category" : "generate", "amount" : 0.00000000, "confirmations" : 4541, "generated" : true, "blockhash" : "cd040d468bca6328e8771a22671795cf415a22c32beb2a6e1eb4f4e8843bd743", "blockindex" : 1, "blocktime" : 1507163008, "txid" : "c5b251b32f72fc3abc41219df3ffafb61ae1a1eec90ad88c54e4510f6876ad3c", "time" : 1507163008, "timereceived" : 1507163021 }, { "account" : "0", "address" : "8Pau5vQDRCmiEV7gCAadsNZqTkBnFp8Lii", "category" : "generate", "amount" : 0.00000000, "confirmations" : 1393, "generated" : true, "blockhash" : "5cf28e61eab92f8f8ec26df97350a958a301f376ab472e4ee248566650b237fd", "blockindex" : 1, "blocktime" : 1507374944, "txid" : "dfa91af5ae15a1bc5f6c6a21d09e6b30866f2974cf35e442f0bef95786c6b670", "time" : 1507374944, "timereceived" : 1507374966 }, { "account" : "0", "address" : "8Pau5vQDRCmiEV7gCAadsNZqTkBnFp8Lii", "category" : "generate", "amount" : 0.00000000, "confirmations" : 1124, "generated" : true, "blockhash" : "f8a7934059cb242546f7bac3f2dfd6174e44bdcbcac7083f701d1faef4841d70", "blockindex" : 1, "blocktime" : 1507392784, "txid" : "22c6c081033bd1bbdb44a5ce6a997cf3b1a08ed66ff5c01fc5bb5dbd5cb76dde", "time" : 1507392784, "timereceived" : 1507392816 } ]

So my original colossuscoins are no longer valid? Can't say I can continue to support this coin if that's the case. How do I know my saved ColossusCoin2 coins wouldn't be worthless in the future? I thought the point of blockchain currencies was immutability Garbage developers don't know how to swap on blockchain. End user gets fucked.
