1  Economy / Economics / Re: Business vs Employment on: June 10, 2026, 09:58:24 AM
Come from business or come from a wealthy family? But their family usually has a business and that they only pass it to their kids if they can not handle it anymore. But on our digital era right now, we can see many a lot of bragging videos on the social media where a person flexes a huge amount of money and other possessions like car, house, computer/gadgets, etc... They are not even businessmen to begin with but these people can be a mix of employee or freelancer but even the freelancer one can still be considered as a employee because they can also have their own big bosses. So as you can see, it is possible, especially on today's world where we now have lots of resources to begin with.

It can be said that group I is a group that will steal a lot of public attention, because there are two big names that will meet, Mbappe vs Haaland, but obviously in terms of quality, Francis is much better because it is inhabited by more high-quality players, even so I do not doubt the strength of Norway, and in my opinion these two countries will qualify for the next phase and Senegal with Iraq will only fight for the best place in third place to enter the other 8 teams.
It's not hard to predict that after France and Norway, the other teams will be fighting to be the best third-placed team. Because both European teams in this group are in very good shape. Both Norway and France have had excellent qualifying rounds, capable of beating any team. Senegal and Iraq will simply be trying their luck.
On paper, it's looking not hard to predict the winner of this group in reality, it's never been easy to talk about any result because Senegal is one of the teams that can give surprises and have enough depth to compete with Norway. They have a good number of top players who are doing well in the European League and understand how to play against them.

France is going to be leading this group but who is having the second spot? This will be decided on the ground with the match between Norway and Senegal. Both will be balanced and have equal chance even Norway could be some favourite, but still this is going to be an easy game while Iraq is also a surprise package.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 10 Africa Teams at the World Cup 2026, Who Carries the Flag? on: June 08, 2026, 08:34:43 PM
I agree with you that Morocco has the highest odds of winning among African teams, which doesn't mean I actually attribute much odds to them. I don't think the fact that now 10 teams participate this time significantly improves the forecast of Africa getting the title this year, although it does give them greater visibility, which I imagine will be linked to some funding, and it is sure to be positive for the future of these national teams.
In the last few years, there has been great development in African soccer, while things are still looking not favourable in this mega event because they are lacking consistency and quality, which is needed to win the World Cup, but as things are going, hopes are high that change will happen and teams will do an impressive job.

Morocco and Senegal are the best teams on the African continent, but the difference in quality is a problem. Too many African players are in top European countries because they feel they can achieve what is not possible through their own countries. It is also trauma because now changes are already happening, and they can surely go for wins if they believe and give their best.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Porn and gambling marketing on: June 08, 2026, 04:12:59 PM
For sure 1win is not the first casino to market their service/brand on an adult site but from what I'm thinking, I believe that the reason why they chose to also promote their brand on an adult site is because they want to reach out to more people from different angles. In as much as it's a casino it means that it's for adults and same thing as adults sites too. One major reason why they chose to promote their service there is that they believe more people are making use of the adult sites and so they are also trying to reach out to them too.
Alcohol, gambling, and porn have never been separated. Even in a few countries, things are strictly prohibited, but still many companies keep things alive with their influence. 1win is also entering into this, while a few more will try this, but this never has any impact because the fewest people always engage with this.

Adult sites are working around restrictions, but this is surely not for all because few countries are having this allowance while mostly they have strict bans, especially in a few regions where they feel it's not good, but on a limited basis things like these will always stay around and have their own impact.

I will even want to suggest Chelsea gives Xabi a full season for him to put the team together, more like in this first season, they should have little to no expectations of him, it should be more like a season for him to understand the team and build around  them, then he will be able  to come up with an actual tactical pattern for the team that will give them results in the following season.

A lot has gone wrong with Chelsea and so they will need some time to get the team back on track  to becoming  the best of a team as they ever wanted for the team. Productivity for them may not come instantly so they should drop expectations of xabi.
The current condition of Chelsea isn't what Xabi Alonso will start getting outstanding results immediately; it will take him some time before he will perform well, so it's very important for Chelsea management to trust and be patient with Xabi Alonso because most of his in his first one year at Chelsea is building a formidable team he will in the following season to outstanding results.
Coaches like Xabi Alonso have enough potential to start quickly, as he did at Bayer Leverkusen, while Chelsea is a much better and more stable club than Germany. He is surely going to start his work as soon as possible because he is well aware of the challenges at the Premier league.

In the coming season, things will surely not be easy because Manchester United and Arsenal are already at the top, while few are ready to give challenges and stay in good spots, but one thing is sure: Xabi Alonso always has impressive results in challenging conditions. This time, can he turn the tables with Chelsea? This is also going to be not easy but possible because he can do this.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: June 03, 2026, 09:46:30 PM
Jose Mourinho is very experienced in coaching Real Madrid. He understands the condition of the players very well, even he knows the competition between the club top management. So his appointment as coach at this time is very appropriate in my opinion. If you look at Real Madrid problems last season, the coach was unable to manage the team due to the ego of the star players. But this will not be the case for Mourinho, where players must still follow the coach instructions because he is the boss. The most important thing for Mourinho is the freedom to lead without interference from the club top elite. If the club top officials do not interfere, I am sure Mourinho will be very easy to manage the players with his experience.

The presence of Ibrahim Konate and Denzel Dumfries will certainly make competition in the Real Madrid squad more competitive under Mourinho command. I am very sure this team will be very dominant next season.
This is what people hope for, his experience. However, people are forgetting that it has been over a decade since he has been here, I am 100% sure that there are not a single players that are still playing at the club since he left, hell most of them even retired, and the ones who did not retire are playing in Saudi league by now.

So yeah, the reality is that Mourinho is experienced, but he has no experience with these kids, and the reality is that it's a bad team with a coach that has terrible last 10 years.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People working in gambling aren't sick of gambling, surprisingly on: June 02, 2026, 06:53:41 PM
For most casino workers it is impossible for them to stay away from gambling because they are in that environment where people gamble constantly. It takes a lot of self control to work in such places everyday and not be a gambler especially when you are seeing people getting lucky and making profit from it.
I read a comment somewhere before, I think the person is a casino worker like a dealer and they see a lot of gamblers lost every single day on their workplace. They can only felt sorry for them deep inside but they can not confront them directly. It is either against the law of their job or it can affect them once these people obey their tip and won't come back on the casino again. But I think there is one that is brave enough to tell the winner quietly to quit now or else the winnings will only get returned in the machine. There are still people that makes profit but their numbers are so low and then they are not usually the same people who win last time.

If we think our working environment affects us negatively, then it is better to just resign on it but some are only worried that what if they can not get hired immediately on the other company? So they just take the courage to continue. Some can also stay because they genuinely like it i.e. they are into gambling and then they can also get tip from the winners.

Most likely, judging by their practices, they are simple scammers. Numerous facts point to this, but the majority of them are false and unfounded accusations. Personally, I am always wary of bonuses of any kind, as they are a constant source of danger. It is precisely the abuse of bonuses that forces casinos and bookmakers to tighten their rules and resort to strict and not entirely effective practices like KYC. This procedure does not guarantee 100% reliability, but it creates threats to our security.
I'm honestly scared to even submit my documents on these websites because who knows where the documents will be leaked or sold in the future. Every few days I hear XYZ casino's data was leaked and you don't want scammers or hackers to access sensitive data. Hacks and leaks aside, I'm sure some casinos actually sell the data behind closed doors.

Thankfully, the sites I play at atm now don't create much of a problem, perhaps because I'm always losing on the month. I can have 7 winning days but surely 20 losing days and it makes no sense to trouble a cash cow. Interesting to see what happens when I hit a jackpot or some crazy max win on one of those hacksaw slots I keep burning money at.

Funny that I saw a TikTok video that is like this last time. It is about a guy who tries his best to save up and ended up being diagnosed by a Tumor but the plot twist is that he don't really have such a condition and yet he already spent all of his money, lol.

The moral of the story can be clear that one should also look for their health, for their wealth to not make sense at the end. But if only about being wealthy (permanently) and still have a problem, that is also possible and I heard a couple of wealthy individuals who confess it. This proves that money isn't really the solution to everything. It is crazy that a lot of poor viewers find it funny and said those rich guys are only being dramatic but not until if they switch places.

Quote
Money can't actually buy life[
In a medical sense, I think it is. As we know hospitalization are costly and many actually just die because they are poor and untreated. And what about those artificial hearts or kidneys? You need money ( lots of it ) to buy them though. Though after all, life in this world still has an end, so maybe we can also say that money can only extend lives.

Ronaldo playing in the 2030 World Cup? Roberto Martinez might be right because Ronaldo is still in good form at 41years. The player takes good care of his body through adequate training and an appropriate diet. But I think it is too early to start marking such predictions. Most football fans are closely watching how the World Cup this year will turn out for two of the greatest players, Ronaldo and Messi. Portugal has a very good side but they are not my favorite to win the competition.
Ronaldo's fitness is still quite good. But the  possibility that he will play in the next world cup is very small. And if Ronaldo plays in the next World Cup, it will be a new record. No 45 year old forward has ever played in a world cup. The oldest player on the list was Egypt goalkeeper Essam El Hadary. He played in the 2018 world cup. He was  45 years and 5 months old. In second place is colombia goalkeeper Faryd mondragon. He was 43 years old. Ronaldo is probably in fourth place on the list of the oldest players in the world cup of all time.
Cristiano Ronaldo is currently 41 years old, and he is now waiting to complete 1000 goals. This could be a big milestone. After this, he is going to retire from soccer. There is nothing to wait for another World Cup because this could be the last for him, and he can achieve things that he needs to do before retirement.

Even though there are things to talk about, still, this could be the last chapter of his career, where he will perform and try to end his career with a win in the FIFA World Cup for his country, Portugal. His body and fitness are amazing; this could be motivation for millions in the future because it has never been easy to keep things on level at this age as a sportsman.

I saw on social media that Barcelona, who didn't sign Rashford despite him contributing 25 goals this season, are paying 80 million euros to sign Anthony Gordon.
They're even close to signing Gordon, who Bayern Munich was also interested in.
I don't understand this logic at all.
Doesn't Barcelona have financial problems? How can they pay 80 million euros in transfer fees for a single player? My mind just can't grasp it.
Barcelona's financial issue is nothing new, but still they are spending enough funds on their squad and have too many top players. Just because of this, no one believes they are having any trouble recently. They've done huge work on Camp Nou and now have €80 million for Anthony Gordon.

It's all crazy because this is a huge amount, and they also had the option to buy Marcus Rashford, who did a good job for them last season, but they didn't go for it. With this, their squad is going to be stronger, and they now have a good chance of ending with another trophy in the coming season because currently no other team has enough potential to compete with them for the title.

Sinner will face Cerundolo that has been one of the few players that has beaten the number 1 ATP. (Roma Internazionali 3 years ago).
Not the best time for meeting him but it's essential as opponent, a good test, probably he just one of the few that can create issues for reaching the final.
A long match (like 5 sets) could be not the best for the Italian... Lets see what will come next..
Roland Garros is not looking good, as this was a few years back, but still surprises are coming. Medvedev is gone now. Sinner has interesting game odds for Cerundolo at 27, but I have a different mind for this game. Going over 25.5 is looking better with odds at 1.60.

Rublev is already in the third round his fourth-round game is against Djokovic. Spanish new kid Jodar is also doing a good job and has won. Currently, Thomas Paul has already won the first set, while Zverev is having a good start to his game.

In WTA, only one game is underway right now. WTA No. 8 Andreeva, after losing the first set against WTA No. 175 Bassols, is trying to fight back in the second set.

The EPL has three representatives in three different competitions, Aston Villa has already secured the Europa League trophy, Arsenal (UCL) and Crystal Palace (Conference League). This is the first Final for both Crystal Palace and Rayo Vallecano, so neither team has the advantage of experience. Arsenal have reached their first final since 2006, a special moment for them, and their motivation has been boosted by winning the EPL trophy.
The final will be played over one leg, so anything can happen during the match. It's hard to predict whether Arsenal and Crystal Palace can follow in Aston Villa's footsteps, but generally speaking, they will try their best to win trophies.
In this season, English clubs have done an impressive job, with Aston Villa already crowned, and now tomorrow Crystal Palace is facing Rayo Vallecano. This could be a challenging game for both clubs. While Rayo has had better performance in the last four games, this could be an edge for them.

Arsenal vs. PSG is going to be another big game. While both are on the same level, most are expecting PSG to be better, but Arsenal surely has a good squad, and their performance is also balanced. This will give them a good chance of ending this season on double. Nothing is easy to predict with all four having a good chance.

Congratulations to Tottenham on their hard work, which has paid off as hoped. If Tottenham manages to avoid relegation this season, the same thing must not happen again next season. They need to identify the weaknesses that need to be addressed.
I think all Spurs fans who were at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will remember how it all unfolded, because that goal is what kept Tottenham from playing in the Championship.

West Ham United were forced to play in the Championship, and I believe they’ll only spend one season there.
What I’m really looking forward to with the current West Ham United squad is seeing which players leave and which ones choose to stay.
Bowen. This is the player I’ll be keeping an eye on.
The last two seasons have been terrible for Tottenham they hardly survived because both seasons their performance was never on track. Even though they won the Europa League, things were never as they had been a few years back, but now this survival is going to be important for them because they have a good coach, and they can do better, which will bring them to a good level.

West Ham is one of the teams that was not good and had relegation, but they have always done well and have fought back. Now, how much time will we spend? This is going to be interesting because this will surely be important sometime. Teams have no chance to bring themselves back easily.

The Premier League has never been an easy place to survive for teams that don't have enough resources; it's challenging but still one of the best.

I know that Luis Enrique is not that naive, and I believe that he know that they can't afford to concede stupid goals against this arsenal team because if they concede first or they are vulnerable defensively as in the game against Bayern, they might not be able to win this arsenal team, because they need just a single goal to win, unlike PSG team that needs to score more than one to be sure if winning.
Luis Enrique is an experienced coach. He is certainly doing his homework on Arsenal well. And make your own match strategy by reviewing arsenal's overall gameplay. In both matches against Munich we saw different match tactics of psg. Enrique is an experienced manager, the bonding  between psg players is also very strong. And they are able to adapt very quickly to Enrique's match strategy. PSG are considered favorites in the  final against Arsenal. PSG are definitely favourites, but we have seen the favorites lose too many times in the champions league.
No one is having any doubt about Luis Enrique because he has done it many times before. This Arsenal is having their best first time in decades. This could be a balanced game for both clubs and coaches, with Mikel Arteta learning from mistakes and having good improvement while PSG wants to do this for the second time.
In this game, currently no team is the favourite because both have done a good job in early matches.

In the last two encounters between these teams, both won by PSG, this could be a physical edge for PSG, but with a win in the Premier League, Arsenal surely has good confidence this could be helpful for them at Puskás Aréna Budapest.

Four titles in 8 years with 2 teams are now final again. After 5 years, it's going to be interesting for Unai Emery because currently he is called a specialist in the UEFA Europa League, with most predictors calling his Aston Villa the winner, but it's not going to be an easy game because finals are never easy and have enough pressure. The match can go either way both are good teams that have done good jobs.

Aston Villa trashed Liverpool, while Freiburg trashed Leipzig. Just because of this, both can go for their best, with both looking for a trophy, but here, a few advantages are going with Aston Villa. Can they go through? It's interesting.

End of the first half at Vitality Stadium: home team Bournemouth is leading the match by 1-0. French striker Kroupi scored a goal in the 40th minute. With this goal, now pressure is increased on Manchester City because they are having nothing other than victory in this game.

45 minutes still remain, but the tight defense from Bournemouth is doing a good job for them. From the start, Manchester City is doing an impressive job, helping them to have things on their way for 3 points because this is also an important win for them. Their chances for the UEFA Champions League are also going to be increased with this win, while celebrations at the Emirates are also going to be started after this match.
