History of bitcoin

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_bitcoin

Prior to the release of bitcoin, there were a number of digital cash technologies starting with the issuer based ecash protocols of David Chaum and Stefan Brands.[3][4][5] The idea that solutions to computational puzzles could have some value was first proposed by cryptographers Cynthia Dwork and Moni Naor in 1992. The idea was independently rediscovered by Adam Back who developed hashcash, a proof-of-work scheme for spam control in 1997.[6] The first proposals for distributed digital scarcity based cryptocurrencies were Wei Dai's b-money[7] and Nick Szabo's bit gold.[8][9] Hal Finney developed reusable proof of work (RPOW) using hashcash as its proof of work algorithm.[10]

In the bit gold proposal which proposed a collectible market-based mechanism for inflation control, Nick Szabo also investigated some additional aspects including a Byzantine fault-tolerant agreement protocol based on quorum addresses to store and transfer the chained proof-of-work solutions, which was vulnerable to Sybil attacks, though.[9]

45  Other / Serious discussion / How important is privacy to you in this forum? on: March 27, 2021, 04:56:03 PM
Although, I think that all or most of us do not say our name and exactly where we live. I think many of us get into this forum from a PC either at home or at the office, where we can register our IP and know exactly where we live.

But maybe there are people who want more privacy, use VPN and / or TOR, etc.

What do you think?

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What makes an NFT sell, and sell for thousands or millions of dollars? on: March 27, 2021, 03:39:42 PM
No matter how beautiful, flashy, or weird an image or video is, I don't think it sells like NFT for a lot of money unless you're a famous person.

Although there may be its exceptions.

47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Satoshi Nakamoto's first post sale on: March 23, 2021, 06:20:18 PM
Imagine that Satoshi Nakamoto reappears and wants to auction his first Bitcoin Talk post as an NFT

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5.msg28#msg28

At what price do you think it would be sold?

Of course, with a proof that it is him and he who sells it.

51  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Ayuda recuperación cartera bitadress on: March 11, 2021, 11:56:55 PM
Por lo poco que se del bitcoin, siempre se uso SHA-256 y no SHA-1

https://es.cointelegraph.com/explained/what-is-sha-256-the-cryptographic-algorithm-used-by-bitcoin

pero no me hagas mucho caso

¿pero como que no estas seguro que tiene esa cartera?, ¿nunca enviaste bitcoin a esa dirección?

Tal vez lo que pase es que no recuerdes bien la contraseña.

Saludos.

52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: March 10, 2021, 10:56:23 PM
I believe that the BTC does not take long to collapse, maybe up to $ 13,000 dlls (L 9,330) , so I recommend selling and keeping that money until the bitcoin returns to an uptrend.

I believe that buying altcoins is not convenient, because most of them go up or down with bitcoin.
53  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can a lesbian fall inlove with a guy? on: March 09, 2021, 02:49:25 PM
This post has been around for several years, 2017, but I know a case of a girl who spent a long time with another girl, and now she has been with a boy.

But maybe in these cases she is not a lesbian but bisexual, I don't know.

1NiNja1bUmhSoTXozBRBEtR8LeF9TGbZBN

This is the donation address for https://www.bitaddress.org/

He has had inputs (donations), but no output so far, and at the moment he has 36.42374799 BTC  Shocked, this is a very large amount for the owner of the page not to take out the BTC and live rich.

What will happen? Did the owner of the page forget the private key, would something have happened to him or what?  Shocked
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crash is inevitable on: February 20, 2021, 12:04:53 AM
I think it's going to go up to about $ 60,000 and then it's going to fall, with its ups and downs to about $ 13,000 or less.
