What will the world be like in 100 years ?
What will happen?
And will everything be the same as in the movies about monsters?  Grin

I think if people will not do something now, 100 years from now earth will be ruined. People are creating something that is destructive and it might be something that would cause earth to vanish. A lot of movies showed possible ways on how world can end, and it's possible for it to happen. People should do something before it's too late.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin core team join bitcoin cash team if the value keeps rising? on: August 21, 2017, 06:45:35 PM
Will bitcoin core team join bitcoin cash team if the value keeps rising?

I don't think that bitcoin would even need support from bitcoin cash because bitcoin is a strong coin. It's name is world wide know by crypto currency users and they consider it as their core coin. So, I don't think that they would even say "Yes" if btc cash  would even offer their help.
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO GOING TO THE MOON on: August 21, 2017, 06:23:14 PM
I've looked on the charts on coinmarketcap as I usually do, everything seemed to be as it always is and then something extraordinary caught my sight: monero is not worth $90 and went 75% up through the day. Usually only shitty coins have these price pumps. What's happening? I know it's a good coin, I was even thinking about buying some. Why is the price suddenly so high? Any major improvements done? Is it really because of rumours (https://cointelegraph.com/news/monero-price-jumps-over-40-percent-on-rumors-it-will-soon-debut-on-bithumb-exchange)?

I kept hearing about monero nowadays. It's good news that it's rocketing it's way up. I don't have any monero and I think since it's price is increasing in value, it's not ideal to buy anymore because I will not gain from it. Any ideas or suggestion guys? I'm not really into altcoin investment since there's a lot of altcoin and I don't know which is which.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite altcoins for this year? on: August 21, 2017, 05:57:56 PM
Your favorite altcoins to hold for 2017 and why?

I don't really know what altcoins to hold for this year. Right now, I only have shadow on my wallet and I have no idea if I should hold or not. It's price is quite stable. Any suggestions what altcoins are good to hold. I'm planning to invest some of money, but I don't have any idea about it.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will WAVES ever recover? on: August 21, 2017, 05:29:22 PM
I've been lurking in this forum for quite awhile and read many threads on how a good coin WAVES is.  It seems to have run aground taking in water.  Anybody have the same thoughts as me on this?

Give waves some time to recover because I believe that waves is a good alt coin and a lot of people and even some bounty projects are using waves as their platform. So, I think that waves will recover soon. I think it's a good news because since waves are cheap it's the best time to buy and wait for it to recover.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: August 21, 2017, 05:03:11 PM
Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"

Ethereum had already survived longer than waves, so I think that Ethereum is almost the same as bitcoin who already had established it's name on cryptocurrency world. Both waves and ethereum are good and both has potential. But, I don't really see them as competitors because both of them are on a different platform.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people buy etc ? on: August 21, 2017, 04:36:33 PM
We're all know etc is a Coin from ethereum split and the price now is very low even etc doesn't had 50% price from eth so why people still buy it ? Can someone explain to me ?

I think it's because etc is from ethereum split, and as you said the price is cheap. Maybe people are expecting it to grow same as etheruem. That's why people are buying it cheap so that if it becomes expensive they will gain a lot. I think that's how it works here in altcoin trading.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To Many SCAM! on: August 21, 2017, 04:07:15 PM
I have often invested in ICO, but too many SCAMs in the ICO world, especially now ICO is like dust grains. Let's discuss for a good ICO and not a scam, so we can enjoy the investment results

I really have no idea on which ICO is best to invest to, but I think you should consider the bounty manager, the team, and developers who are in the project. Most likely those who already have established their name would less likely SCAM people because their name is on the plate. Just check thoroughly before investing.
789  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin on Drug Trade on: August 19, 2017, 02:44:56 PM
Since the cryptocurrencies, particularly the Bitcoin, has provided such a convenient way of trading and transacting basically anything, can we assume or speculate that it is now being used by some "elites" in the drug cartel? c",)

I haven't thought about this, but maybe this is possible, almost all elites are aware of cryptocurrency and I think it's possible they are using this for their transactions. Just imagine it's less hassle and it's easier to transfer money through bitcoin. So, it's really ideal to use bitcoin for this kinds of transactions.
790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2017, 02:24:40 PM
What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?

I think it's because even when bitcoin price falls hard, it will eventually recover and even surpass it's price when it started falling. Just look at the price history of bitcoin, it started less than a dollar and costs almost $2000 today. Just imagine when you held or accidentally forgot your bitcoin when it started.
791  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 11k balak ko mag invest through bitcoin on: August 19, 2017, 02:09:11 PM
mga maam sir meron akong 11k cash on hand ngayon
guso ko sana mag invest san kaya pwede saka ung pinaka affordable and mabilis

792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: August 19, 2017, 01:26:04 PM
So.... how much have you win or loss gambling ?? And what did you stake ?
I've lost about $60 so far but im planning to win it back. Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered.
A saying well said, however i still need to learn it since my greed is my downfall. Guys and girls
how much money have you made or lost gambling ? Any pointers or warnings ?

Gambling requires skills, knowledge, timing and luck. It's really hard to predict when you're going to win or not. For example, I've been playing poker for a long time and I've experienced a lot. Even if you have a good hand if the odds are against you will not still win if it's not your turn. The more you become greedy in gambling the deeper you'll fall. So, just put on a little moderation and just enjoy the game.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 15, 2017, 04:58:30 PM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

Each people has their own opinion about coins, because each of them experienced different things when handling their coins. I think the best thing that you can do is to study the market and the trends before investing into something, it's good to ask for opinions but don't rely on them to much. On the first place, you will be the one who will get the outcome of your investment so better put some effort into it.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoincash gains more support on: August 15, 2017, 04:41:04 PM
If bitcoincash gains more and more support from the merchants, the miners and the cryptospace community, is it really competing directly versus bitcoin? I reckon, the answer would be a no. Bitcoincash is competing against litecoin.

I speculate LTC's value to go down while BCH's value to go up as time goes by.

The Bitcoin Cash (BCH) blockchain is moving along processing blocks and is currently thriving as a network. So far there’s been 408 blocks found on the BCH chain, and the currency has been trading heavily on exchanges. At the moment, bitcoin cash is trading at $300 per BCH and has the fourth largest cryptocurrency market cap. There are a lot of exchanges and cryptocurrency wallet providers that have decided to support the BCH network so far.

Good point, I don't even see bitcoin cash as a competitor of bitcoin. As you can see, bitcoin already claimed it's throne ever since cryptocurrency started, and bitcoincash is an altcoin. Both bitcoincash and litecoin are good, but I see them as two different coins. The down side of bitcoincash is that there's a lot of issue that comes with it.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will be the number1 coin? Bitcoin or Etherium? on: August 15, 2017, 04:14:02 PM
What do you think will be the number1 coin?  Bitcoin or Etherium?

It depends on what category are you talking about. A lot of users are using bitcoin and some are also keeping etherium. This two coins are not in a competition because each has different characteristics. Bitcoin and etherium are good investments to keep. Bitcoin is getting pumped nowadays and who knows how much will it go.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looks like another crash is coming!! on: August 15, 2017, 03:49:32 PM
here is what usually happens:
- bitcoin goes up > altcoins get dumped
- bitcoin dumps > altcoins get dumped harder
- bitcoin stays stable > altcoins get pumped

you should hope for the third option to happen. and the reason for it is very simple, in both first 2 options traders are always in bitcoin market either picking up cheap coins or making profit or shorting,...

but when option #3 happens, they look for an alternative way of making money. and that would be altcoin market and the pumps in it.

I actually agree with this, as you can see a lot of people who holds altcoin sells altcoin because of the temption that bitcoin brings. Who wouldn't want to have bitcoins when it's pumped really hard. The second option is also true, when bitcoin dumps most likely it affects altcoins too. The best option is the third one, I guess there's no need to explain.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone help me? I sent to wrong address on: August 15, 2017, 05:51:42 AM
From hitbtc, I sent ethereum to liqui SONM address.

0xBaB26AbDD60DD28a2D3A28c58A12873866A07a51

this address is keeping my ethereum.

0xaf44c3052ff6c35369f12daffa327e31462c5cb9a8864ff7241a8c8831e50aec

this is txid.

I belive i could get it back because, sonm address is ethereum based coin.

Anyone who were same situation with me, please answer me.

I think there's nothing you can do here. Try to contact support if they can do something about it but I doubt it's possible. I think it's not possible to cancel transactions once it's done because funds cannot be transferred without the consent of the address owner right?
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Invest? on: August 15, 2017, 05:07:55 AM
Ive found a very Promising PRE-ICO which is called TheRomanLegionToken. It looks very good but I've only ever invested in 3 ICO's and I don't know that much about it. If someone has any input then that would be very helpful. Thanks Smiley

Here is the link to the Pre-ICO - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2073839.0

The coin's name is too catchy, lol! I think it would be another shitcoin. You should not hurry on investing your money. Try to read some feedbacks before investing your money sometimes. I'm not saying it's a bad investment, but just to be safe, study the information about the coin before investing so you will not regret your actions.
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin should I buy today on: August 14, 2017, 06:03:37 PM
What coin should I buy today?
I want invest $30 , please give me some suggestions , and is it a good time to buy NEO or I should wait , cause I think it's gonna drob to  25$

I think it's not a good time to invest into any altcoins today. Just stick to the classic, go invest in btc as early as you can and hold it as long as you can. bitcoin price is rising up and it will continue until the end of the year. Most altcoins are pumped and dumped so it's too risky for you to buy alt coin now.
800  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: August 12, 2017, 12:09:21 PM
Hi guys. Just wanted to know whether drinking is good or bad for our health...first of all i drink every weekend because i feel refreshed after a heavy week of work..  After i drink i take a lot of food and have a nice sleep....I do not have any kind of headache or anything after drinking but will it affect me in the future.... My dad almost drinks everyday right from his childhood may b at the age of 18 but my dad is healthy and strong even after drinking so many years... Thanks to god for that....... Any way,  When it comes to your health, is it better to drink or not to drink?

Drinking relieves stress, and that's it, that's the only benefit of it. Drinking alcohol ruins your health and makes you addicted to it. It's hard to be alcohol dependent, everything around you would be affected, your job, family, relationship with friends and even money. So, I think it's better if you will just drink occasionally or just to socialize.
