104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's war against the competition (LibertyReserve, who's next?) on: May 31, 2013, 06:06:03 PM
They always go for easiest target. Liberty Reserve was easy, like e-gold and that Liberty Dollar or smth. Bitcoin is hardest target ever. More resilient than Bittorrent and Freenet without single point of failure.

Not really, they shut down the exchanges and its over for bitcoin.

109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Island/City and More on: May 28, 2013, 03:01:44 AM
ah ok, why not just start a city that uses gold as currency instead of being reliant on both electricity and internet to survive.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or Bitcoin on: May 28, 2013, 03:00:34 AM

112  Economy / Economics / Re: [POLL] Anyone ever get a local store to accept Bitcoin? on: May 28, 2013, 02:55:57 AM
Who is going to take the time to explain bitcoin just to be able to pay in it when they are probably the only customer who ever will.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if some1 rich buys it all? on: May 28, 2013, 02:55:00 AM
Why would someone throw away their money crashing a market when they can just pay the government to shut it down?
114  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Liberty Reserve Shut Down? on: May 28, 2013, 02:53:30 AM

116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Liberty Reserve on: May 28, 2013, 02:30:38 AM
These are also all underground people, hackers, fraudsters and the like. They could draw a lot of unwanted attention and bad publicity to bitcoin.

117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you couldnt buy or sell BTC, what would you do with them? on: May 28, 2013, 02:06:00 AM
Oh i really meant what would you do with them when they are made illegal and the value plunges to 0. I was thinking maybe trading it for everquest gold since they would be both extinct forms of money.
118  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Introducing Stampbit.com - your source for hassle-free shipping on: May 28, 2013, 01:52:51 AM
Maybe you should describe what you are selling and how it works.

120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when the US makes crypto-currency illegal? on: May 27, 2013, 01:03:16 AM
Im sure this has been said before, but if cryptocurrencies are made illegal then they are dead in the water. Without the ability to switch them out for real money that are effectively worthless.
