Is the price of gold stable? That's done ok for a few thousand years ....

You sound like you've lost some money buying bitcoins @ $266. Get over it.

156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be made illegal under gambling law on: May 19, 2013, 06:58:38 AM
Ha, no, really, this currency is a joke, who the hell is going to buy anything legitimate with it when the value of it follows the path of a himalayan mountainside. Someone please make a stable cryptocurrency and replace this pathetic attempt at multilevel marketing.
lol who are you to call it a joke. bitcoin is new and it will stablize when it has been adopted by the world. until then it will grow in value. this growth is called rapid adoption. it's easy to understand if you look into it rather than just speaking before you know anything and looking very stupid.

I agree, the world will adopt bitcoin due to its enhanced price stability and ease of acquisition. Theres really nothing stopping it now.
157  Economy / Speculation / I speculate the price of bitcoin will go up, then down, then up, then down. on: May 19, 2013, 06:56:53 AM
I speculate the price of bitcoin will never stabilize, and will never become a useful currency as a result. I speculate that others will speculate on my speculation, and will match and raise their speculation on my speculation by speculating that there is no such thing a speculating the course of a crashing train or the price of an infinitely divisible currency. I will raise any further speculation by one micro gold spec, divide said electrons of gold spec into a satoshi spec, which will be mass adopted by the global economy by 2014.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: List of bitcoin hostile banks. [edit] mod please consider stickying this thread on: May 19, 2013, 06:50:18 AM
