@cM0: Da gebe ich dir grundsätzlich Recht. Man muss keine eigene Wallet und sowas entwickeln. Ich wollte damals aber verstehen, wie das alles genau funktioniert und habe mich deshalb damals mit beschäftigt. Auch wenn bei BTC vielleicht "nur" Lightning hinzugekommen ist, so gibt es viel viel mehr verschiedene Coins, Konzepte, Netzwerke, Bridges, Ziele usw. als damals. Wo damals halt maßgeblich der Algorithmus, die Anzahl der Coins und die Zeit für das Finden eines Blocks angepasst wurde, steckt da heute viel mehr dahinter und die Projekte sind heute deutlich komplexer. Das ist einerseits gut, aber andererseits... wie lang braucht man um zu entscheiden, ob man in einen Coin investiert oder nicht? Damals ging das relativ schnell - ok... da waren die auch noch nicht so viel Wert. 1 BTC = 30€... hach das waren Zeiten
Aber trotzdem... ich finde die Materie für viele Menschen zu komplex. Viele wissen ja nicht mal für welches Konto oder welchen Sparplan sie sich im klassischen Bankensystem entscheiden sollen. Da sollen die noch ohne Beratung durch eine zentrale Stelle entscheiden, auf welchen Coin sie setzen?  

Willkommen im Club :-) Ich hätte es auch nie gedacht, dass ich nach über 10 Jahren noch hier bin. Allerdings endet meine Krypto-Ära demnächst, da ich in der letzten Zeit so viele Nachteile gespürt habe, dass ich lieber auf andere Dinge setze als auf den BTC- bzw. Krypto-Kurs. Einerseits habe ich durch Celsius & Co. so viel verloren, dass ich nur noch 20% von dem habe, was ich einst hatte - und ob das wieder passiert, weiß man nie, weil nix gesichert oder so. Andererseits kann ich ganz einfach mit der Entwicklung nicht mehr Schritt halten. Vor 10 Jahren, da hatte ich noch paar Miner betrieben, mich mit dem Netzwerk, P2P-Kommunikation, den ganzen Protokollen, die "technische" Funktionsweise usw. beschäftigt und hatte auch eine eigene Wallet entwickelt. Das ist aber alles dermaßen komplex geworden, dass ich (bin selbst als Informatiker) nicht Zeit habe, mich damit zu beschäftigen. Um ehrlich zu sein bezweifle ich mittlerweile auch, dass Krypto allgemein jemals Mainstream wird. Wenn immer gesagt wird, "wenn das kommt, dann wird Krypto Mainstream" oder sowas, dann vielleicht für irgendwelche Börsianer oder so, die dann BTC-ETF's oder so handeln können.
Wenn ich mir aber anschaue, wie komplex schon allein das ETH-Netzwerk und alles ringsrum geworden ist, dann habe ich ernsthafte Zweifel, dass das jemals von nicht-Informatikern im täglichen Leben, außerhalb des Bankensystems, langfristig als alternative zum normalen Geldsystem funktionieren wird. Es ist einfach zu technisch, zu komplex, zu schnelllebig und zu spekulativ als das es jemals Mainstream wird und damit für die Menschen das "normale" Geld ersetzen wird.
Wenn man sich dann auch anschaut... von den 80% Verlust konnte ich steuerlich überhaupt nichts geltend machen - im Gegenteil, weil die Coins hatte ich ja 2013/2014 gekauft und damit ist der Verlust laut Steuerberater verjährt und kann nicht geltend gemacht werden. Hinzu kommt der enorme Aufwand für Steuererklärung & Co, wenn man denkt, man "sichert" sich bisschen ab und streut sein Investment über verschiedene Dienste und möchte davon von den Staking/Lending-Einnahmen vielleicht bisschen leben. Aber dann hat jeder Dienst sein eigenes Format, was von Tools wie Cointracking oder so nicht unterstützt wird und man muss selbst wieder was bauen und den Steuerreport der jeweiligen Plattform verstehen. Nuri war z.B. so ein Fall, wo ich mir etwas selbst entwickeln musste, weil ich keine Lust hatte alle einzelnen Transaktionen bei Cointracking manuell einzugeben.

Kurzum... sobald bei mir die letzten Staking-/Lending-Locks in den kommenden Tagen auslaufen, verkaufe ich den Rest und bin raus bei Krypto nach über 10 Jahren. Für mich hat es das Ziel nicht erreicht und wird es auch nicht erreichen. Der Preis wird aufgrund des gestiegenen Interesses und des breiteren Handels (Börsen & Co.) steigen. Im täglichen Leben sehe ich es aber nicht  höchstens als Debit-Karte. Davon hatte ich aber auch schon einige und eine nach der anderen wurde dann eingestellt (Nuri, Crypto.com, Binance...).

I've sent SINS from my wallet to another wallet but I'm getting no confirmations.
The transaction was made at 1547802005 (01/18/2019 @ 9:00am (UTC)). So it's around 2,5 hours ago without any confirmation.

Edit:\\ paytxfee was 0 and I used a raw transaction and paytxfee to calculate the fee. Hence I send a transaction without any fee included, so the network did not accept the transaction.

I'm running a masternode since over 1 week and I got no reward.
When I check the status of my masternode using "mirai-cli masternode list" it tells me the masternode is "ENABLED".
Do I need to install sentinel in order to make my masternode working or what can be the reason I'm getting no reward?

Hi! When I try to call "createrawtransaction" via json-rpc, I'm getting the error "Invalid parameter, missing vout key".
In my opinion there's a bug in rpcrawtransaction.cpp on line 253:

The line checks if vout_v is null and negates it. So, if I pass valid vout indices to "createrawtransaction", they are valid so that "isNull()" returns false.
But because of the negation it returns with the error that my valid vout's are invalid. I think the line should look like:

I've my masternode running since 7 days and I'm still having no reward.
But... the masternode is running successfully:

Anyone having similar issues or how long does it take untill first payment?

I cannot start my MasterNode because it always says "Sync in progress. Must wait until sync is complete to start Masternode".
But getinfo tells me that I'm at block 77977 and that's the same I see on https://explorer.nullex.io/
I already tried multiple times to start my nullex daemon with -reindex but always the same error... I cannot start my Masternode.
Furthermore I'm a bit confused that the last generated block is 77977 on 03.09...

So....... Is there something wrong with the chain? Anyone having the same issues?

I've a simple VPS (no masternode). Before the coin-swap I got 10 or 20 stakes each day. Now, after coin-swap and the update to the latest daemon, I'm getting no stakes. Anyone know what can be the problem? I've sent my new coins to my wallet 10 days ago... I'm not sure if I need to wait longer

Ich muss mich jetzt hier auch nochmal reinhängen. Ich hatte ein ähnliches Problem. Das einfache "mittracken" von Adressen hilft hier aber auch nur bedingt etwas. Das Problem ist nämlich u.a. auch, dass viele POS-Währungen nicht nur eine Adresse nutzen, sondern mehrere. Man schickt also XXX Coins an eine Adresse, aber bei jedem Stake wird einfach eine neue Adresse generiert, die man dann z.B. noch nicht "mittrackt".

Ich selbst habe das Problem jetzt gelöst, indem ich mir einen eigenen Blockexplorer gebaut habe. Dort überwache ich meine ganzen Wallets und prüfe immer ob neue Transaktionen (listtransactions Command) vorhanden sind. Das schließt dann automatisch auch unterschiedliche/neue Adressen, die erst im Laufe des Staking-Prozesses entstehen mit ein. Wenn die Transaktion bestätigt ist, füge ich diese in meine Datenbank ein und mit Hilfe der Histo-API von CryptoCompare und der Blockzeit bekomme ich dann noch den entsprechenden Wert zum Zeitpunkt als der Block entstanden ist (wobei CoinTracking.info den Preis selbst ermittelt). Daraus erzeuge ich dann eine CSV-Datei, die ich bei CoinTracking.info importiere und dann entsprechend zwischen Deposit (Einzahlung), Withdrawal (Auszahlung) und Stake (Mining) unterscheide. Daraus kann ich dann wiederum meinen Steuerreport für meine Steuerberaterin erzeugen.

I'm having some trouble with GRW too.
Some time ago, I've sent some coins from Cryptopia to my own wallet. Today I realized that my wallet was stucking on block 2475636.
Now, I downloaded the latest blockchain (http://cdn.growthco.in/grw_blk_20180505.zip), extracted it and restarted the wallet.
It seems that I'm now on the right chain but the wallet shows me no transactions anymore.
When I check transactions on https://lafuhosting.top/explorer/GRW I can see my transaction. But the client doesn't recognize the transaction anymore (calling "growthcoind listtransactions" returns an empty list), even when use a new wallet and try to import my private key to it. The private key is definitely correct because I've a backup of my previous wallet and can dump the private key from there.
Any ideas what's going wrong?

I don't recommend to buy a Pi to stake 1337/ELITE because it doesn't work correctly on Linux based systems.
I tried 3 different Linux distros/versions (Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 and Debian Jessie) and since update to 1.9.0.1 I'm unable to keep the wallets synchronized to the network. They all stopped after downloading some blocks without any reason.
Hence I've some millions of 1337 in my wallet but cannot spend or stake them. That's absolutely disappointing for me, especially because the POS reward is dropping

Up to now I really liked Cryptopia but since some weeks they are increasing the minimum trade limits.
Meanwhile I need at least 500 DOGE for a trade on the DOGE markets. That makes it impossible to sell my POS-coins
