1  Economy / Service Discussion / Which block explorer do you use? on: August 12, 2015, 04:23:02 PM
Is there an explorer that works better? Stores use bitpay, good alternative?

Please motivate your answer Smiley

This transaction has been stuck at this for hours

I know it's eventually going to reach as it has happend to me before... Can it be because of the wallet I use? It has happend 3-4 times.

Transaction fees are definitely causing frustration to Bitcoin users at the moment.

At the moment in MBHD v0.1.1 a user can specify (in Preferences | Fees) a miners' fee of:

0.01 mBTC/ KB to 0.1 mBTC/ KB with a default value of 0.03 mBTC/KB

In the past the lower end of this fee range meant a delay in confirmation, but only a few blocks. Now, if your fee rate is lower than that of the spam transactions that are hitting the network there's a big delay.

In the upcoming release v0.1.2 we've extended the range to:

0.01 mBTC/KB to 0.5 mBTC/KB with a default for new installs of 0.1 mBTC/KB

Users are going to have to 'take a reading' for what spam is hitting the network and tweak their fees accordingly. Choosing the lower end of the fee range is going to encounter a delay. This may or may not be acceptable depending on what you are doing.

There isn't a reliable decentralised way of knowing what the fee distribution of transactions in the Bitcoin network is currently.

edit: corrected figures.
I feel really unsecure regarding this, as far as I can see I can see there's only one thing regarding fees to change. I've maxed it out now to 0.0001...

"Users are going to have to 'take a reading' for what spam is hitting the network and tweak their fees accordingly." - where do I do this?

Again, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1118204.new#new, no transaction fee 24 hour wait time or so..
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What happens now? No client fee payed on: July 11, 2015, 10:00:57 PM
Well they aren't important , are they ?
If I'am correct this is Multibit HD and the Client fees shouldn't have anything to do with the transaction since 1000 Satoshi's are sent to the Client developpers and managers etc... and you paid transaction fee so that's the important .
but how could you send without client fees , they became obligatory lately  Huh
Yep it's very weird, done many transactions with it included, haven't touched anything.

Can't find the transaction on blockchain - are those BTC lost? It's supposed to pay client fee by default but now it didn't...

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My BTC wont transfer on: July 01, 2015, 01:19:44 AM
It's over. Always had the same transaction fee and it's been fine, but I raised it a bit to be sure.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My BTC wont transfer on: July 01, 2015, 12:50:33 AM
Still fucking unconfirmed.... What the actual fuck is this?
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / My BTC wont transfer on: June 30, 2015, 10:32:34 PM

Been waiting for 5 hours now, is it 100% certain it will get transferred? Had mid prio for 2 hours ago.. I've lost 1 BTC before so I am a bit worried.
13  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBit HD 0.1 released on: June 30, 2015, 07:53:33 PM
This transaction is taking ages!

Why is it set to medium priority? I haven't touched any fee settings, it's taken over 1 hour now I am worried I will lose it..

EDIT: OK now it's on high prio, I changed the fee to 0.0001 instead.

16  Other / MultiBit / Re: Help! Multibit made transaction vanish! on: June 19, 2015, 09:06:15 PM
I have read things like that happen often with multibit. The suggestion again was the use of some menu entry that checks the database again and repairs it. Im not sure anymore how it was named. You might ask in the thread for multibit though. Subforum alternative clients.
I've also read about it. Which wallet should I use instead?
17  Other / MultiBit / Re: Help! Multibit made transaction vanish! on: June 19, 2015, 08:59:27 PM
just refresh blockchain and transactions for that wallet, takes a few minutes, but when its done everything should be synced properly and your transaction should show.
Done nothing happens.
Dude it's gone from transactions and it had that triangle shape.
18  Other / MultiBit / Re: Help! Multibit made transaction vanish! on: June 19, 2015, 07:17:41 PM
It has been over 12 hours. It's gone and nothing on blockchain.
19  Other / MultiBit / Help! Multibit made transaction vanish! on: June 19, 2015, 03:53:41 PM

Whats this? When I am checking transactions today it is gone!!

LOOK ITS NOT HERE! WTF!!!
