Getting "stratum_subscribe timed out" when mining skein
|
|
|
Still getting "Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to x17.mine.zpool.ca port 3737: Connection refused" . Others like skein are working.
Is there something wrong on my end?

X17 Stratum server is down
|
|
|
Miners are going fine, but the site is showing
"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ''skunk'' (T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING), expecting ')' in /home/zpool/next/web/yaamp/core/functions/yaamp.php on line 253"
Just a heads up.

Seems like something is down again. Getting stratum_recv_line failed.

Equihash stratum seems to be down? I am getting 0 hashrate on it and pool hashrate seems down on website as well.

@Storx: did you get any more granularity on the intervals? Seems strange you were getting best results with 3000 (that's 50 minutes without switching)...
Im sorry bud the test was spoiled by thunderstorm a few days ago, my parents house which has 2 rigs, 2 racks of 4x1080ti's per are down.. still troubleshooting the issue.. seems the motherboard is fried.. really hope that the 8 GPU's are ok... currently im mining at 10minute intervals, because it seemed switching to often was causing a lost in profit due to switching in the middle of processing data, but going to long was pushing out off the clif of income..... That's a damn shame, talk about luck. I hope your 1080 ti's are okay!

Most algos down...
Only one I've found is blake2s...equihash, nist5, and skein are up Same here. Besides Blake2s, other algos seem to be working. Blake2s is back online Right when I take blake2s off my rigs haha. Thanks for the update

I am also experiencing stratum connection problems.

Switched to using CCmineralex78 on skein point to miningpoolhub and enable auto exchange.
Results: RECENT CREDITS Last 24 Hours 713.98091837 (take it as 712 DGB)
I added a GTX970 which I cannot recall if it is full 24hrs with 2 card. But I am using this and assume it is total 2 cards for 24hrs:
1080ti = 3/4 of the share 970 = 1/4 of the share
so for 1080ti = 534 DGB, yesterday rate about USD0.028 = USD14.95 / day. if this can continue and holds true, this is giving more than $400 a month before electricity bill
Today DGB also have another bump at USD0.032 as recorded by coinmarketcap! if this rate continue, it is $17/day! wow!
This will drive up the difficulty when all started to shift their Zcash miner to DGB! ops!
I will be buying a bunch of 1080 Ti's and I am debating between zpool and miningpoolhub as well. It seems like zpool has more algo's/coins but has higher fees and the owner is not a programmer and using yaamp source code. Miningpoolhub has less algo's/coins but has lower fees and the owner seems to be a programmer. Anybody else have experience zpool vs miningpoolhub?

So do you guys recommend mining just one algorithm at a time or using the multi-algo switching system?
I am not sure what the algorithm switching is calculated from and it seems to differ quite a bit from whattomine.

Working well, thank you. I did a small mod to the .bat which lets you choose which GPU devices you want to utilize. Just put "-d 0,1", ect at DEV= @echo off SETLOCAL EnableExtensions SET ADDY= SET DEV=-d 1 SET A=ccminerAlexis78.exe SET B=ccminerTanguy.exe SET C=zminer.exe SET D=ccminerAlexis78blakecoin SET E=ccminerbitcore SET POOL=mine.zpool.ca REM SET A01=equihash REM SET A02=lyra2z SET A03=myr-gr REM SET A04=x15 SET A05=lyra2v2 SET A06=neoscrypt SET A07=decred SET A08=blakecoin SET A09=c11 SET A10=groestl SET A11=blake2s REM SET A12=x14 SET A13=x17 SET A14=nist5 SET A15=skein SET A16=sib REM SET A17=x11evo SET A18=lbry SET A19=timetravel SET A20=veltor SET A21=timetravel SET A22=hmq1725 SET PASS=c=BTC,myr-gr=67,lyra2v2=37,neoscrypt=1.13,blakecoin=4.7,c11=16.4,groestl=32,blake2s=3.73,x17=10.9,nist5=46.3,skein=512.3,sib=11.8,lbry=272,timetravel=26,decred=2.6,veltor=30,bitcore=16,hmq1725=4.58,stats :start ECHO Starting NemosMiner-v1.7.2 if this helped you please donate #Nemo.... Really enjoying the program. Will donate once I break ROI So do you suggest we use this instead of zminer in nemosminer? no, EWBF is still the fastest for me and has 0% fee so i won't be changing to any version of ccminer for equihash anytime soon unless there is a speed improvement i simply compiled that version to help the development of ccminer-equihash.. Also, do you think it's worth bothering with m7m, xevan, or hmq1725 (new) algorithms for pascal cards? m7m and xevan are cpu only algo's... im in the process of adding hmq1725 algo to 1.7.3-zpool atm will be uploaded later today.. Regards Nemo You are the best! I look forward to 1.7.3

as alternative of the Asrock http://amzn.to/2oJm6ua bro btc 1 or http://amzn.to/2oqj4aUpro btc 2 found some of lower price 6 gpu and 7 gpu motherboards 7 gpu motherboards : 6 gpu motherboards sure there is more motherboards but need more search time if you have any of those please give a feedback Thank you for taking the time to make this list. Have most of these been proven to work on all slots? Some motherboards have the slots but drivers/bios prevent all slots from working.

I am totally beginner in mining and which graphic cards to you advice for mining Ethereum and Litecoin, also I think maybe I will also try to mine Monero an Zcash. What do you think about Radeon R9 390 and rx 580?
Those will be good for dual mining Ethereum/ETC (Ethash) + DCR/Sia. Check out claymore's dual mining program. Nvidia cards do better on Zcash (Equihash) and I think Monero (Cryptonight) as well. There will be little profit in mining Litecoin.

You should think about mining on zpool.ca or miningpoolhub.com and you can auto convert to BTC as you mine. If you use profit switching you will be constantly switching coins but it doesn't matter as all you see is BTC payments My 1080ti's are getting over $10/day per card right now mining mostly skein, blake2s, and nist5 based coins It is pretty rare that Neoscrypt becomes profitable enough to mine over the others Hey! May I ask your rig setup? I'm planning to build one, but I'm not really sure on what to buy.. Thanks! It really depends on your budget but many people have asked the same questions you have. Check out this website: http://www.coinminingrigs.com/how-to-build-a-6-gpu-mining-rig/this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1884572.0 and there are many many other threads on this sub-forum. That should help you get started but you need to do your own research and experimentation.
