2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: August 27, 2019, 01:07:32 AM
Anyone know whats the deal with Nicehash,  Ive been always mining to an external address, they don't say
anything about what happens after sept 10,  do they just transfer everything over or do I lose everything + the rest of
the bitcoin owed to me when they got hacked? cause I don't have an email attached to my address?

4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Terminus R606 up to 1TH quiet miner, available for pre-order on: April 15, 2019, 12:07:24 AM
Do you need a Raspberry Pi for this to work?  Or would it work if I plugged it into my windows 10 mining rig which is
currently running 2 vega 64's ?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.8.2 - native algo switching on: April 11, 2019, 11:09:17 PM
I'm getting alot of "pool rejected share (Share Above Target)" errors at nicehash on CryptoNightR
Anyone else getting this too?

Yes we could use some support for Cuckaroo29 at nicehash with AMD cards.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.7.1 - native algo switching on: November 29, 2018, 03:43:05 AM
EX-Claymore user here.  Love you're miner, but can you show the pool ping whenever you get an accepted Share to the pool.
Yes I know I can see average ping when I hit stats,  but i'm so used to seeing the ping all the time, Thanks.
10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcing GekkoScience's new USB stick miner, the aptly-named NewPac on: November 20, 2018, 10:48:18 PM
Work which will be used toward a pod miner were included in items 1-3, 6, 10, 12 and 14.

If you can make a pod miner with the efficiency of the newpac's,  I'm interested in it even if bitcoin does go back 1.5k.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.8 - V8 & algo switching on: October 27, 2018, 04:24:14 PM
If I wana try Nicehash what is the command to put it in nicehash mode and in what bat file do i put it in?

And also how do I turn off sending stale shares since my pool rejects them anyway why bother sending them.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Someone is selling a gaming PC (specs inside) is it worth? on: September 18, 2018, 02:11:46 AM
That is a terrible deal.  For mining it is pretty much worthless.  As for buying it for a gaming rig, I would say its worth under $500.
This post says it all, thats a horrible deal and you aint going to mine much with 2 970's.  500-600 is about right.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETN is back to ASIC :) ATTN: Antminer X3 owners :) on: July 07, 2018, 01:28:12 AM
I don't get why they went back to ASICS,  I thought the Idea was to get as much ETN in as many hands as possible,
I don't see this working when you now have to spend almost 1k for a miner to mine this ?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Acorn M.2 FPGA based GPU Accelerator on: June 27, 2018, 12:33:08 AM
This thread is 26 days old.
Zero proof it works.
No demos
No videos
No screenshots.

I simply ask the following proof of concept.

What can you show us?

Same Here Phill IS the most Trustworthy GUY on this entire board.  When you get one working Send one to him to test and run.  When Phil verifyies that it's true and working You WILL have more orders then you will know what to do with.  Other then doing that, having a discord and videos is all fu$king bullshit.  No one including me cares about that crap.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which Graphics Cards to use for Ethereum, Monero and Zcash mining in 2018? on: May 25, 2018, 03:03:51 AM
The new NVIDA's are coming out in a month,  why dont you just wait for them?  Huh
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Deception & Misdirection by ZEC co. Forking ASIC Resistance Bitmain Antminer Z9 on: May 11, 2018, 12:19:31 AM
When devs needs hashrate they are the best friend of small miners, garage miners, medium miners, but when the coin reaches a great volume of money, they forgot all and don't care about community

This sums it up,   but that's ok I'll start dumping all the zcash i've mined in the past year and 1/2,  and never
touch that coin ever again.

BTW you generally dont want ACIS from one company to control all your hash rate,  Especially Bitmains,  who's Bitcoin miners
are known to have backdoors and remote shutoff's.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain launches the Z9 Equihash miner on: May 04, 2018, 03:41:27 AM
I figured there had to hidden ASIC's on zcash,  when Zcash hit sub 150 dollars 2 months ago the Network Hash rate did not
really go down much.   Figures its Shitmain doing there thing.   Just remember buyers If Shitmain is releasing theses miners
they have way better ones on there own farms. Cool

If these guys don't fork i'm dumping all the zcash I have mined.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore CPU miner; Setting Affinity on: May 02, 2018, 03:51:29 AM
So, I can't set affinity in Claymore?

You can't set affinity in Claymore its already at 100%,   but the great thing about his cpu miner is you can also gpu mine
other coins while running it with out hurting gpu's on the same computer.

I don't have any Nvida cards but Props to the developers helping out the community with this.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: adrenaline 18.3.4 missing compute toggle on: April 13, 2018, 03:35:45 AM
Is this normal behavior?

I have windows 10.  The 18.3.4 driver is not showing the compute toggle.  It just isn't there.

RX Vega 64

Its normal,  I have 2 vega 64's with my rx480s.   Just the 480's have the compute button.

The vegas seem to be able to auto detect that they need compute.   Just make sure your using win 10.
