21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Just got a new smart meter how much does the bill go up? on: April 11, 2018, 10:30:35 PM
Yup just go home from work and see a brand new smartmeter installed,  had the old analog meter.
Now has anyone else experienced this? and how much did your bill go up?   Currently my rig is pulling 820 Watts.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How do I run this miner to mine monero with nvidia card on: April 11, 2018, 03:04:48 PM

Monero Classic team chose to maintain the original chain and did not follow the upgrade initiated by Monero team. We believe the emergence of specialized

Stop Posting Nonsense ,There is NO classic Monero team no one is working on it anymore,  which is why classic monero is only 8 bucks a coin vs 175.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [RFC] Potential release of AMD Lyra2z miner (Raw speed: Vega64 9.8 MH/s) on: April 10, 2018, 03:49:00 PM
Zcoin mining almost never was highly profitable. Now zcoin mining profits in deep ass even on gtx 1070ti.

Gratz on your miner but at 25% I would have no interest in running, no matter how good your miner is with that high fees. and on a low profitability coin.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Monero Fork in one day.. hash rate drop predictions ? on: April 06, 2018, 03:57:39 PM

block 1546024 took 1hr 26m, 2s to solve!

but your right, at this rate, difficulty drop will take days.   how long does it take to create new asic and start again... seems like an arms race that monero is gonna lose.

Yup that block was painful to watch this is going to take a while,  ohh well turning back to duel mining.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain E3 Ethash Miner ASIC (Shipping:16-31 July. $800 USD) on: April 04, 2018, 10:24:45 PM
This must be bitmain's smokescreen, for Vitalik Buterin, to fool him into thinking they don't have the F3 1.5 g/h miners,  since bitmain announced they were making these e3's last year.   This in my mind almost guarantee's that bitmain is mining with the F3's and selling these to clear out there inventory.  Good luck with anyone buying these 1 year old miners.    Bitmain mines with there top gear and then sells off the old gear.  As in the case of the Bitmain selling
off all there s9's,  meanwhile every one wonders why there s9's have so many problems a few months after they get them. I'm pretty sure if bitmain is a 3 billion dollar company they are mining with the 12nm miners already on bitcoin.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nvidia Titan V Review on: April 04, 2018, 10:11:39 PM
All this was well known in December '17,   The real Shame is all the miners ignore the 640 Tensor Cores.  Would love to see
a miner that uses those too,  if a mining program could use the Tensor Cores too, then this Card might be worth the 3k.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: March 27, 2018, 01:11:08 AM
Sso it is fair to assume Baikal has been hashing cryptonight since November.  Now what would YOU do if you were baikal, facing the hard fork?  We know the X10 is ASIC's, not FPGA's, we don't know about the Giant-N (yet; I might take it apart), but assuming the Giant-N is ASIC, then the obvious thing for Baikal to do would be to switch all their (hundreds) of Giant-N machines to Monero (off of all other cryptonight coins), and set up some master nodes and gain 51% of the network hash rate.

The Baikal scumbags have been mining since September '17,  I think bitmain also hopped on in January '18.  If monero didn't announce the
Fork,  Im sure these 2 scumbags would still be quietly mining 75% of all the new monero blocks without saying a word.  You can figure this out easy because 75% of the monero blocks don't go to any known pools anymore.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GPUs miners beware! on: March 27, 2018, 12:58:23 AM
Yup its over Johnny..... but its not only just bitmain its 3 other companys.

"During our travels through Asia last week, we con confirm that Bitmain has already developed an ASIC for mining Ethereum, and is readying the supply chain for shipments in 2Q18. The initial roll out is expected in 2Q18, but production is expected to be somewhat limited (Bitmain may use these first rigs for proprietary mining within their own infrastructure). Production volumes are expected to ramp significantly beginning in Mya, with more widespread retail availability soon after. While Bitmain is likely to be the largest ASIC vendor (currently 70% to 80% of Bitcoin mining ASICs) and the first to market with this product, we have learned of at least three other companies working on Ethereum ASICs all at various stages of development."

They dont have killer Hash rate,   The real killer is how little power they use.  Angry

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best alternatives for GPU mining (AMD) except ETH? on: March 26, 2018, 08:26:03 PM
If you have amds like me just wait for the new monero fork V7 coming in about a week.   Should throw all the Baikal and bitmain ASICs
off the coin,  should make this coin very profitable for at least a couple of days.  At least until people who go to "what to mine" every day and start jumping
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH dual mining going to end soon on: March 26, 2018, 08:19:57 PM
WTF are you guys talking about?  Duel mining is still alive,  because I'm duel mining eth & verg right now.  You wont make alot of money anymore but with Claymores 11.4 or 11.5 eth miner allows you to duel mine Verge or Smartcash.   Do some reading boys.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think bitmain is secretly mining ETH with ASICs? on: March 20, 2018, 04:24:34 AM
You bet Your F$%king Ass bitmain has an asic like device on eth already.   Anyone who doesn't realize it is just
to dumb or naive or alot of both to understand.  15 Th/s is being added to the network every week that's a like 50k  GPUS being added every week
which is highly doubtful.   Lets guess how long they will mine with them until they try to sell them?

I'm guessing at least 6 months.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.5 (Windows/Linux) on: March 20, 2018, 04:09:48 AM

Ok i'll bite you're not mining at nanopool you're mining at ethermine.   If you really want to mine at nanopool change your bat file
to where i have it boldfaced.
start C:\GPU_Miner_v10.5\EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool -ewal 0xB529d2FaC7dA5902Cba304dA4901315A82668332.Vismai -epsw x
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What should I be mining? on: March 18, 2018, 11:45:23 PM
Well i was gonna start mining ETC but everytime i open the miner it just closes? How do i fix that?
what miner ? what os ? whats in your .bat file ? The ETC Claymore miner / Windows 10 / Start_only_etc

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool, WALLET: 0xe236b97640e4aa1ef547e8b593f7110724219e2f/LITM/ PSW: x, WORKER: , ESM: 0, ALLPOOLS: 0 -allcoins 1

I never mined eth classic but i'm pretty sure you have to change allpools to 1 and add  "-allcoins 1"

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anybode knows something about FPGA ETH Miner 3600 MH/s with 800W? on: March 18, 2018, 05:54:13 AM
What a SPAM FUD post from a nobody user account.

Well its certainly not FUD that raising the Ethereum difficulty 15 th/s a week.  And it ain't the Gamers and include the
fact that GPUS are very expensive and not plentiful for big mining farms.
So explain why it has risen so much in 2 months?
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anybode knows something about FPGA ETH Miner 3600 MH/s with 800W? on: March 18, 2018, 04:31:10 AM
Judging from the Crazy Rise in difficulty in the past 2 months,  I wouldn't be surprised
by this anymore.  Matter of fact i'm 99.99%  some scumbag (hey Baikal & bitmain) company has something like this
mining away already and is just gona be all quite about it.  Oh well judging how my amount of eth just got cut by 2/3 guess
I'm hoping back to monero after the fork. Undecided
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL] Independent SmartCash Pool - No reg. required on: March 15, 2018, 12:27:29 AM
The 1 pool was the only thing that turned me off to mining this coin.  Good job I wish this pool was around
before I started duel mining vertcoin  last month.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New to mining need an Advice on: March 15, 2018, 12:16:36 AM
You're doing it right,  Just like i did when i started in october 2016 with 1 Rx480.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL Giant-N scam or not ? Will you be able to mine after 1 mounth ? on: March 15, 2018, 12:14:00 AM
God knows how much Monero they've got at this point. This stuff is really starting to turn me off cryptos. Decentralization my ass.

The have been taking 75% of all the new monero blocks for the past 3 months and maybe a 30%-40% of the blocks average for the previous
4 months before this January.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: So where are the GPU miners going next? on: March 15, 2018, 12:04:34 AM
the industry was created for decentealization

Yes, this is the core of cryptos: decentralization

But most people are very, very greed and don't care about this, only money matters

It's funny and sad at the same time to see people defend cryptos, because it's againt bankers, government etc and them buy Asics, huge farms and supports that kind of coins
The history repeats no matter what

Wow sums it up perfectly.   Hate to be the doom an gloom guy,  but im 99% sure there is an asic out for
Ethereum already,  just look at the Ethereum difficulty rate jump for that past 2 months, in the middle of a
GPU shortage.  Roll Eyes
