Congrats to India on winning the series, I think they deserve this come from behind series win. It was an interesting series to watch as the first 3 games the team batting first went on to lose the games and in the last two games the team batting first won the games. I'm just happy to see Kohli get back into some good form and I think he deserved the play of the series with 3 not outs. Now hopefully he can continue on with this form into the ODI series.
I am also thinking the same. Everyone's contribution was outstanding. Very well deserved victory. It has become a habit for team India, start with a loss, ends with a win. Before this T20 series Virat Kohli form was absolutely going down however now Kohli get back on the track. He knows how to comeback in form and he deserves this Player of the series award. It was a good series overall and the both teams played well. This only shows that till 4th match it was 2-2 and the final was a complete finale and, on the given day, India was better than England and this helped them to within the series. As mentioned earlier Virat has come in the form now and since he bats up the order as it’s an advantage as team can reach big score as on one end he makes runs quickly and plays a big innings. |

England is going to win this match and that means that they will be ahead 2-1 in this series. Another 30 runs needed from 5 overs, with 8 wickets in hand. Spinners have got both the wickets till now. Dawid Malan fell to Washington Sundar, while Yuzvendra Chahal got the wicket of Jason Roy. And that is why I am surprised why the captain didn't bowled them out earlier. He recalled them only when the match was firmly in England's grasp.
Good thing for team India is that Virat has found is form back and this will be an advantage for the next 2 matches to them. Also, any team batting second has only won by far and that too with 7-8 wickets. So, the chasing on this pitch is easy and no team has scored anything more than 170 yet. Buttler was just awesome and with this win England are now 2-1 ahead in the series. |

Never expected this meltdown from the England bowlers, after the spectacular wicket maiden from Sam Curran. Adil Rashid got Ishan Kishan out, but the same bowler has been hit for a six just now by Rishabh Pant. Just another 54 runs needed from 8 overs, at around 7 runs per over. From now, it should be a cakewalk for India. So essentially, the series is now levelled 1-1. Misfields from the part of England players doesn't help much either.
The first two matches the team chasing won the game even though the second match is still going on that is how the series is unfolding and England put on a decent score on the board than India was able to score in the first match and the dew factor might be the reason the bowlers are not able to maintain the grip and the fielders are struggling. Correct, it is interesting how the rest of the last 3 matches folds now as India now requires only 5 in 14 balls. Virat is 67 and found is form back. Also, with this win India levels the series by 1-1 which will make it more interesting in last 3 of the games to watch out for. Ishan also supported well and played some big shots for his 56. |

The game is very much balance and could shift to any side depending if England is able to pick couple of quick wickets here or India can build a good partnership and this will make easy for them as will have wickets in hand at latter part of innings just if require some hitting in the end. Nice to see Virat slowly getting his form back else was struggling for a while in recent matches. India - 67/1 in 7 overs.

If Afghanistan 545 runs by losing only 4 wickets, I think the Zimbabwean team has the capacity to score at least 400 runs. There is no possibility of this match being a draw. At the moment the match is completely occupied by Afghanistan. Unless a miracle happens, Afghanistan will win the match today.
It depends on how the Zimbabwe players play Rashid Khan and the match is played in the UAE which helps the spinners in the final two days and it is going to be a huge task as Zimbabwe still trail by 234 runs and it is going to be a huge task to take a lead and with plenty of time left in the match it is a game for Afghanistan to win and level the series. ZIM is trailing by 229 they have not lost any wicket in this session but their chance of winning this test looks very bleak. It is Day 4 and as the match progresses I do not think it will be an easy task for ZIM to avert a defeat. Google probability score also shows Afganisthan has more probability to win this test. Zimbabwe scored 44 runs without losing a wicket. Kevin Kasuza and Prince Masvaure are batting with great confidence. If the two of them can form a partnership of more than 100 runs, then Zimbabwe will be able to have a good fight against Afghanistan. But if they lose the opening wicket quickly, it will not be happy for Zimbabwe. Edit : Zimbabwe lost the wicket of Prince Masuvaure. He has collected only 15 runs. His strike night was 20.26. If his innings had been longer, Zimbabwe would have been able to collect a big total. Zimbabwe is in deep trouble now, they have already lost 7 wickets and it is a completely one-sided match. Great cricket by Afganistan, they not only batted well they have also bowled well. When Zimbabwe started to bat today I was under the impression that they might pull through but great bowling by Rashid Khan, he himself claimed 5 wickets out of 7. Zimbabwe formed a huge partnership of 122 runs in the seventh wicket partnership. Sean Williams is unbeaten on 106 and Donald Tripano is unbeaten on 63 runs. The match is likely to be drawn if Zimbabwe can score more than 120 runs in the first season. The match is still completely under the control of Afghanistan. The match is likely to be drawn if Zimbabwe are able to play well in the first session of the next day. Afghanistan made a good comeback in this series as they lost badly the first test and now mostly will win this test match. Brilliant first innings batting by Shahidi and Asghar just dint allowed the Zimbabwe to make a comeback in the game. Thought Zimbabwe would atleast be better and situation would not arise of follow on. |

After a great win in the first Test, England lost badly in all the other Tests. Players who had the worst performances of their entire careers. England won the first T20 match very well. None of the Indian batsmen performed well. England reached the target in just 15 overs, losing only 2 wickets. My fear is, we don’t want to see a repeat of the Test series again. After winning the first match, they lost the rest of the matches badly.
England performed magnificently and specially when their chips were down after losing the test series badly. They came back strongly and just played like champions who were much better on the day than team India. If Shreyas would not have contributed to the tune of half the team score then they would have been done under 100 only. Now this makes the series more interesting with the one-sided win for England. |

A low scoring final match between OZ vs NZ , NZ won quite easily in the end by 7 wickets. Chasing just 143 runs to win both openers Guptill and Conway batted well and gave a century opening partnership which just sealed the match in their favour. last match was also a decider as 5 match series was 2- 2 and by winning the match BZ win the series.

What a day for India and specially for Pant and Sundar. Unfortunately, Sundar just missed and could not complete his century. Axar was very special in bowling and with his 43 runs this helped India in the end as India did not had to bat in second innings as India won by 25 runs and an innings. India did well to win 3-1 series.

Once again we have Rishabh Pant and Sundar coming to rescue and impressed more with the Sundar at lower end batting because that helps India to rely till the time he is on crease else India would have being all out by now near England score only. Expecting around 125 runs lead for India and still will be very handy and only chance for England now is to have a good opening partnership so can laid the strong foundation else the match is already on India's side.

Didn't expect England to reach 205 after Stokes got out at 121. Lower order batsmen played well to provide their bowlers a fighting total.
Advantage is with India though in my opinion since they have many in-form batsmen currently(Ashwin and Sundar themselves are great batsmen). I am pretty expecting them to give England a lead of around 50-100 runs in the 1st innings.
Stokes made 55 runs. Pope and Lawrence did contribute with the bat which helped them to reach 205. India got a perfect start to the test match as getting England out early and if they can take a lead of 150+runs then it would not be a difficult chase for India in fourth innings. Was expecting Gil to play a long innings but unfortunately went for a duck. Rohit if can stay on the pitch for an hour tommorrow then India could have a good first innings lead too. |

Anybody watching the Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe test match held at Abu Dhabi. Afghanistan was all out at just 131 runs and Zimbabwe are now 133/5. Though Zimbabwe is also now not that strong anything is possible though Zimbabwe has an advantage that they still have 5 wickets and already 2 runs ahead. But Afghanistan can wrap up last 5 wickets quickly with not much lead then they will need to bat well in second innings to create some pressure back on Zimbabwe.

After the first match, everyone thought India would lose the series, and maybe the tug of war will begin with Virat Kohli's captaincy. But in the next two matches, India completely defeated England. I have not seen such a poor performance of England in Test format for a long time. But I think England will win the last Test match. And the series will draw
I think they are playing in the same ground and India needs to win the match or draw to get a place in the World Test Championship finals and we have already seen how the pitch behaves and there is no way we will see a draw in the match and India will be prepared to win the match and win the series as well as a place in the WTC finals. The match is held in the same ground not sure the reason for it, because could have had 4 venues like for 4 matches which is generally the case. And now we know that the test match might not last more than 3 days or max the result should be on the 4th day. Also winning the toss and might want to bowl first since Indian in second innings were completely batting in a different way than the first innings and were better in timing the ball as well. |

I don't mind watching such game once a while, just for change but tbh i don't really enjoy 2 days test cricket because its not healthy for the test cricket overall. Having said that i am equally against the hypocritical behavior of almost everyone, when fast bowlers finish the game quickly then its good for cricket and batsmen can't play seam etc, but when its spin then every discussion focus on blaming the pitch, toss etc except batsmen.
I might be a biased but i find this mindset bit of colonial and slave mentality. After all we want gora's approval on freaking everything. I really enjoyed the matches when bowlers have the advantage, i really do like the contest between bat and ball and i really do not enjoy when the batsman is dominating and the bowler is playing the second fiddle bowling the ball to amuse the audience fetching the ball outside stadium  . I did not enjoy watching the T10 format matches as i do not find it entertaining when the batsman have all the advantage with shorter boundaries . The rules that helps the batsman were written when there were no protection for the batsman nor they were having the helmet and now things are different and there should be a format that takes away all the undue advantage of a batsman, no leg side field restriction nor limits on bouncers but you can call wide. The only problem i saw with the Ahmedabad pitch is the quality of the pitch, dust puffing in the first day and if the matches are not finished in the first 3 days you will see 90 degree turn from Joe Root and other part time bowlers . Lets give bowlers too a chance to dominate the game completely and that is what happened on that match but even crickets feel its unfair to have a pitch which favours the spinners than batsmen. Pitch curator will be asked to produce better quality pitch this time and the match ended in just 2 days so they will be having more time to get the things done in the last match of this series to avoid any further criticism on the pitch side. I do not understand what’s wrong for having the pitch which supports spinners, like is it completely fine when the pitch supports fast bowlers then who will think for spinners under that case. Its fair to have the pitch supporting spinners, there are already pitches supporting fast bowlers. Okay match ended too quickly then expected but understand Indian 4th innings score was scored without losing a wicket so it means the pitch was getting better from 3rd day only thing need time to stand on the pitch. |

What an exciting test match this has being like match was well balanced when India got all out in first innings and with just 33 runs lead and also a turnaround in second innings batting where without losing a wicket they could accomplish those 49 in quick time. Result has been super quick in this test match and now England need a win in last test to equal the series and would be in huge pressure as well.

It’s hard to see it getting suspended even if it returns, but that's the way it works and we need to move on from here.
