Another 200+ score and ATM Proteas sitting at 218 score with 2 balls to go.

Bet on England and it seems i already lost lol

Jeez final score 222, its mammoth total. England need some solid opening stand otherwise its lost cause.

SA has posted a huge score on the board and in the end Klassen and Miller quick fire helped SA post 222/6 in 20 overs. Chasing is never easy and England have lost an early wicket as well of Roy which was a stunner catch by Shamsi. England are 47/1 in 4.2 overs though they are off to a good start run rate wise but continuing at this pace till the end would be the key.

762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Double Checking while playing Roulette? on: February 16, 2020, 01:23:58 PM
Played Roulette in one of the reputed casino, on consecutive bets value spend was 0.00008192 eth. For the first two bets this was the value and mistakenly for the third consecutive bet unknowingly my fingers have touched the chips based on which value can be increased. This made the further bet amount to 1.00008192 eth, and the bet lost. Further I wasn't able to go for further betting. This ended the day a loss of more than an ethereum. If I've double checked I could've escaped such a massive loss.

obviously, your accuracy in placing bets is indispensable in gambling, especially if you play with the Martingale strategy, bets that you double will endanger yourself if you are not careful in taking action, then there is a possibility you can easily lose all existing balances

If we look at it is was so simple to ensure what we place the best are of correct amount and placed correctly on numbers or colors but such a small thing when we miss can lead to so much loss which could be a very big thing for many people . Also, this make us learn that whatever it may be do not overlook anything which may be even small thing which may result it into very big thing .

SA winning the toss has decided to bat and has started very strongly . They are 100/2 in 10 overs, Bauvana quick 49 and Kock 35 innings has set the pace in their innings and both are now out . Hopefully they will be able to cross 200+ runs if this momentum continues .
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 16, 2020, 10:24:29 AM
Every gamblers have his or her own strategy in every game, Winning is always tempting for more gambling if you're addicted to gamble. And whenever you are loosing, some always have the thought of recovering from their loss. So at this point some will find it difficult to quit when losing or winning. I think it would be good to set up your plans and apply wisdom in every decision making.
I suggest any time you win, take out your capital and use your profits for further games.

One of the ways where people who just can’t resist gambling and not able to quit too should consider keeping aside a certain money be very month for gambling . Now you have to manage for whole month in that money only . If you win you decide what needs to be done or if you loose entire quickly then you do not gamble till rest of the month . This will be starting point for you also to take control of your decisions regarding gambling .

If you have some tips which helped you to gamble for years, please share here. I have limited budget but want to gamble for longer duration even I will not make profits.
There's no guaranty even if you are playing for years that you are not going to experienced losses, you can win some but not most of the time house edge always rule the game, if you have a limited budget then you can bet within your means, just enjoy your games and if you are lucky then you have a chance to win.

Those who understand that casinos or gambling sites exists for them to make money and not to donate money to their users will know and play for fun and enjoyment and do not always to make money from it because it is not possible that it will happen that way else casinos by now would be shut. Also, play with certain amount and have a fixed money dedicate so that you know when you need to quit the game and move away. Play for fun and do not play to make living out of it unless you are wealthy and would not effect even if you lose money in gambling.

Good news for Dhoni fans!!

The cricketing legend will be back in action from March 1st as he gets into CSK mode. People who thought he might not come back you can read this interesting article - https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/ipl/top-stories/ms-dhoni-to-get-into-csk-mode-from-march-1/articleshow/74157122.cms

This is a very good news as he has been away from the main stream cricket now for long time and IPL may just help him and his fans to see him on the pitch and do his magic as for years he has being doing for the team. Also, first match of IPL starts on 29th March between Mumbai vs CSK at Mumbai. It is going to be super exciting matches and some of the results would be decided on the last ball.

767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 15, 2020, 12:29:58 PM
Finally something positive to see today with all the bowlers picking wickets and even though Jadeja didn't manage one wicket, his run rate was below 3. The opening partnership is working now with a lead of 87 runs. But still NZ squad may be different for the real test.

Sharma may be out for the first test it seems but Bumrah, Yadav all are doing a good job, especially when Bumrah did not get one wicket in the 3 ODIs.

India batting was a problem as if you leave Pujara and Vihari their was no batsman who showed any resistance to stay on the pitch. Though is would not be the exact playing team but still out of this 50% of players or more would be in playing team and I hope batting improves and they can stay on the pitch for longer duration. Considering the bowling happy to see all bowlers picking wicket other than Jadeja and getting them all out and taking 28 runs lead. India second innings have started and and are 59/0.

You should gamble money that you can afford to lose. And you should learn when to exit if you are winning. Or if you think that you are unlucky that day, then stop, then force yourself otherwise you might end up losing more.

Of course there are lots of strategies around specially martingale, if you don't know how to use it then don't. You better off playing with your end strategy of winning, just saying.

If people can control greed then gambling is a fun to play and have a good time. As suggested above try and ensure people play to enjoy and not just to make money every time you play because it is not going to happen. Also, carry limited amount with you while gambling so that you would end up losing only that amount though however you may be highly addicted to continue but you will have to quit as you do not have money.

Also, if interested to make some money then sports betting is a better option as chances of you winning rises because you may bet on your favourite team or players whom you know how much better it is than the other opponent.

I'm hoping that the test series between New Zealand and India is a lot closer then the T20 and ODI series as it was one sided in both series with each team winning the series easily. New Zealand now have the winning momentum and now they need to carry this on into the test series where they need to improve from the test series against Australia. Playing at home will help New Zealand but I think India will be too strong for them and will most likely win.

I would consider it was quote close contest in both T20 & ODI , as last 3 T20 match was easy win for NZ, but India came back strongly and NZ gave up the match and lost it. But yes they made a comeback in ODI series so we can expect that Test match would be very interesting and would last till last day to get the result. Hope to see some lethal bowling from both the teams.

What a series and what a end of second twenty/20 match England won by just 2 runs as Curran done good job in last 3 balls even his first 3.5 overs cost him 43 runs but last three balls completely change all things for England Love this format and game between these quality teams now third and final match is going to be more excited.
It was a wonderful match and England was able to play the same game South Africa played against them in the first match. Curran bowled the last over and he was able to hold on to the total and even with two wickets in the last over they were able to win the match and with the win the series is leveled and the final game determines the champion.

South Africa should've won this one; Van Der Dussen should've completed the game that he started. It's good that he scored fast and played nice cricket, but it's all useless if he can't finish it and tries to take a double at the time of over-finish. He should've played more sensibly and should've succeeded in winning it for SA. It was a nice match overall but I'm a bit hurt, as Dussen is one of my favorite players and I wasn't expecting him to be this fool at the very end of the game. Roll Eyes
Van Der Dussen is very exciting player but relatively he is new in International cricket just because of this lack of experience but last over was full of entertainment as happen in last match where Ngidi done great job in this match first four balls already turn match in South African way but last two balls again change things.

What a match we had witnessed and really Dussen and Pretorius almost took the match on their side but just fell short by 2 runs. They played some fantastic cricketing shots and helped SA to narrow the ball and runs difference but in the end England manage to win the match by 2 runs. Moeen Ali was named Man of the match for his fast paced innings of 39 in just 11 balls which actually helped England to cross 200+ runs.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 14, 2020, 07:23:54 PM
Quinton de Kock is taking on the England bowlers and he scored his fastest half century in just 18 balls and have already smashed seven sixes and they had a really great opening partnership and if they can maintain that and not loose much wickets then they will be able to chase the score and David Miller must stay till the end for them to chase this score. Chasing a score above 200 runs is always difficult but with the flying start they got they can win the match, either way it will be a close match.

SA has a chance though the asking rate is climbing and require 47 runs in 20 balls and 6 wickets in hand . Some one has to play quickly and get 20 runs in a over which would bring the asking rate down and also the runs and ball difference would reduce .
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 14, 2020, 05:26:51 PM
Kingsmead used to be one of the most pace-friendly surfaces, but I don't know how whether that has changed recently or not. If it still supports the pace bowlers, then any total above 160 should be enough for England. They have already crossed that score (162/5 after 17.2 overs) and it is going to be an uphill task for the South African batsmen.

Stokes and Ali are batting and if they play full 20 overs or any one stays till end then we can see England crossing 200+ runs and it will be a big chase for SA. Bairstow innings was also at a quick pace though he got out at 35 in 17 balls .
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 14, 2020, 01:57:07 PM
actually i have no Plan on totally stopping gambling mate because i found this as Fun habit.

but if maybe there is a new funny place i found and i won  million Dollar i guess?then i may consider this to stop,or if my family wish me to stop also i will surely Granted their wishes because they are my life and my happiness .

but for now?i will enjoy my Poker game lol.

If you are within the limits then it is fine and if you gamble just for entertainment that is also fine, but if you develop the habit of gambling just to keep on making money then that would hurt you because you may get addicted sooner or later to this and may find it difficult to quit . But if you are in control and can quit if required then that is the good sign .
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 14, 2020, 10:00:42 AM
When we get addicted, the only way to get rid of the same is through alternate focus. We need to turn our focus towards something else, and if we get self satisfaction on the alternate thing one will easily get out of addiction. If the alternate focus too doesn't fulfill the mind, automatically the person gets back to gambling.

Whether it is money based or something else, people wish to achieve it in a very short time period. This is where people easily gets addicted.

This is the correct thing and I have seen people and recommended some friends too and this has being a helpful to some people and makes me happy that they are now not on the wrong track. One has to find out the alternates and the moment you decide about it chances is that you have overcome 50% of addiction and rest is when you get involved in other activities or hobbies which makes and trains you to be a better person and stay away from your addiction which is not good .
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: February 14, 2020, 09:56:09 AM
When I was really into gambling, I always have that feeling.

After losing my money, I always want to play again without having a second thought. I always think that I should play to win more and I don't worry about the possible things to happen after I lose. The feeling of I must return quickly to try to win my losses back. But that is also the main reason why I end up being broke before.

By observation and some experience I have undertood that this is the most dangerous mistake we do by playing to win only. And this is the cause of many reasons like addiction , financial loss , Heath hazards etc beacuse quite possible that again we may lose money and we keep doing this things which eventually may hurt us as winning is not easy the way we lose money .
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: February 13, 2020, 04:23:15 PM
This isn't really true, it's just common among to see gambling places like casinos with bars in them. For the drug addiction part, that I can't tell about because I don't see how it pushes one to take drug. BTW, it's a policy from gambling sites to gamble responsibly.

One thing that can worry people would be that if they do not have a good self control or cannot follow discipline then in such cases if they overboard in gambling then addiction rates increases and in his may lead to drinking , smoking or such activities which Gives them some relief on temporary basis .
777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 13, 2020, 07:19:26 AM
I've been an addict since before I realized that it is not a good way to kill my time and to earn money at the same time, I am slowing downplaying since I want to really stop playing gambling, I've tried stopping it instantly but after some time I got back and played again at a regular basis, Now I'm on a process of reducing my activities on playing gambling, I think I got rid of the addiction and I can control now the urge to play gambling. I also set a limitation on myself on playing.

Firstly a good way is to decide that you are getting it wrong by gambling too much and this itself is the first win for you . Try and develop some new hobbies and enrol yourself into new activities which you like or passionate about . I have seen this really helps and people after some times leave gambling or can easily start away from it as they get busy in other stuff in their life .

...and England lost! Amazing, amazing bowling by Lungi Ngidi in the last over. At one point, it felt like the English team will be easily able to win this one, but amazing comeback by South African bowlers in the last quarter of the game.
A couple of good overs and the ability to put pressure on the England batsman and pick the wickets made the difference, i expected England to win the match When Jason Roy was on the crease and the collapse was incredible as the odds for South Africa to win was really high and even though Dale Steyn made his presence felt by his performance i did not anticipate Lungi Ngidi to bowl a dream last over when the match is on the line.

It was a very close match. I thought it will go to super over but great balling and fielding by the South African team. Initially I felt that England will win the match, when Jason Roy was batting but, great balling by Lungi 3 wickets just for 30.

What an exciting game of play it was and the time Morgan and Roy were betraying the chase look simple and easy too . But soon things changed and England later order batsman just did not supported well to win this match for them . SA kept their cool till the end and it was like a super over is awaited but unfortunately we did not had it .

1st T20 between England and SA have started . England winning the toss have decided to field and SA have got a solid start and batting at 59/1 in 5.4 overs . They have lost Kock at 31 in just 15 balls . SA are looking aggressive today in their batting approach .

This tells the complete story about Indian tour of New Zealand, Almost Grin we can call it anything; experiment, injuries in both teams or any lame excuse (From Indian perspective) but the facts are simple and clear.

Do they really have the Test Match series planned next ?

If yes, this will be very interesting to watch.

Their are 2 test match planned . First test will begin on 21st Feb at Wellington. It is going to be an exciting series and I expect the results in both test matches . It may be little on NZ side as pitch would be for fast bowlers and NZ  are now back again in good form. NZ may whitewash the test series too .
