We're finishing the final touches on our official roadmap and goals. It should be released within the next week or so.

Nothing else good to mine, I guess I'll mine a little and help out the community. Dev can you post and keep us up on any news, developements, exchange talks, etc?
We've messaged a few exchanges and they've replied saying they're looking into the coin to make sure it works with their software. I don't have any more news at the moment, but here's a great video explaining the benefits digital currency has already brought Kenya, and what cryptocurrency has to offer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBWH7Sea3Xo

Update: I have received my full withdrawal from Bitember now. It took a while likely because of some pool or network issue but it eventually arrived. Thanks
Please edit your previous posts to reflect that you have received your money so people glancing through the pages don't see in massive red letters BITEMBER IS NOT PROCESSING WITHDRAWALS. Thanks

Bitember is not accepting hash and .mn is simply not working.
Please add some working pools
https://www.ipominer.com/stats now has a pool for PotatoCoin. We're working on the bitember pool at the moment. It should be back up soon. The bitember pool is back up!

Hello everyone, here's a quick update:
We're currently working on post-launch development, such as some new websites and services. The PR-sided members of the development team are working with vendors and exchanges to encourage adoption of PotatoCoin. As for a roadmap, we're working on it and it should be done within the next couple of weeks. We're still deciding how to distribute the coins which is the primary concern in regards to the roadmap. Stay tuned for updates!

Update to what exactly?

Countdown timer added, this coin will launch on Friday the 22nd at 11:59 PM UTC.

More pools have been added. Pre-register to mine at launch!
And when would that launch be? We're working on the coin as we speak. This isn't just another pump and dump coin. We want to make sure that everythings fleshed out, all the i's dotted and t's crossed, so on and so forth. We should be ready fairly soon.

I was talking about this idea the other day about a coin with the main goal of improving the lives of the poor people. I think we got a good candidate for that here. If the dev doesn't screw up big, I can see this becoming a really huge crypto-currency. Maybe a coin that will be head-to-head to bitcoin in terms of price and recognition. Also, for the miners, when you mine this coin you are not only mining for yourselves but also helping a kid somewhere in the world. So as for the manner of mining guilt-free, greed-free, this is the best coin in the crypto-world. Period. So, let's make this big, shall we? Let's do it!

What you should have done: 50% of the transaction fees will go towards Robin Williams charities. No premine. also investment opportunity. Send .25 btc to 1KyNkKBHWA3UfeWpk13oH3bkKML7fA5Sr4 for ur chance to premine with me.
That address has >150k bitcoins. What the hell do you need 0.25 for?

We wanted to launch on the eighth but we ran into some problems and everyone had to go for the weekend, then today we had a problem with the genesis block until about an hour ago. It's now been fixed and everything is ready to go but the main developer is offline so we're going to have to launch tomorrow.
Yeah, but you take 86,8 days worth of mining to yourself as premine while you can't even launch a coin on time. Besides, it's not like you're offering anything new if you're even serious. We're not taking the premine for ourselves, we're using it to fund development and the trips to Africa. We're not contributing anything in the way of technology but we are looking to put the same technology to use in a unique way with potential to help millions of people. If it doesn't work then that's unfortunate but if it does then it will make a real difference in the developing world.

50% Premine, How come we know the fund is going to the right charities and not in your pocket? Evidence.
We're going to put a list of addresses holding the premine on the website along with the reasons for each transaction. We will also post pictures of the developers in Africa distributing coins and educating Africans about currency and, more specifically, PotatoCoin. Well, what you said if you gona keep that i'm all in for it good luck. Looking forward for it. Thanks, me too!
