Na terça-feira, atacantes desconhecidos descobriram uma vulnerabilidade no código de Bitcoin Unlimited, que conseguiu afetar 50% dos nós que empregavam esta versão alternativa para o Bitcoin Core. Vozes dentro da comunidade afirmam que os desenvolvedores tiveram sorte, já que a ativação deste ataque durante um “fork” teria custado milhões de dólares. O ataque ocorreu cerca de meia hora depois que a última versão Bitcoin Unlimited (BU) fosse carregada para o repositório do Github para a sua distribuição, fechando múltiplos nós até o ponto em que mais da metade da rede ficou desactivada. Enquanto que Roger Ver, o principal defensor de BU, tentava salvar a situação, os usuários reagiram com dureza. Há apenas uma semana, Roger Ver tinha lançado a seu próprio pool de mineração dedicada BU. “Normalmente, na BU, quando encontramos um bug de Core só reparamos e continuamos”, ele twittou citando uma publicação do blog do desenvolvedor Andrew Stone. Bug é uma falha, ou defeito do software. O Bitcoin amanheceu neste sábado com excelentes notícias. O preço da criptomoneda começou um processo de ascensão, que se iniciou na manhã de ontem, mas continuou de forma constante. Enquanto que, dia 09/02/2017, após a reunião as portas fechadas da PBOC (Banco Popular da China) com as ‘Três Grandes’ Exchanges de bitcoin chinesas (BTCC, Huobi e OKCoin), o preço do Bitcoin chegou a cair para baixo dos $900, pouco a pouco foi subindo e hoje chegou aos $1.000 dólares. Apesar do preço do Bitcoin ter registrado US $ 1,008.42, 4,58% maior do que ontem, O número de operações ainda é muito mais baixo do que ontem: 137 milhões de dólares, indicando que o mercado ainda está acordando. O curioso é que este impulso de preço vem do Ocidente, pois o preço na China é mais baixo. Why I can not play anymore? Everytime i try to ROLL i get this message "Sorry, this IP address has been blocked from playing the FREE PLAY game. You may continue to use the rest of the website as normal." I play only in my work and at home. I have already restarted the home modem, received a new IP, same thing, blocked. I tried to access by 4G, same thing, blocked. It definitely does not depend on the IP from which I try to ROLL. So I think they've blocked my account. I sent a private message here, no response. I sent 3 messages through the contact form of the site, no response. I would like to know why my account is blocked? Is it possible somehow to be unlocked? User ID: 3381500

I experienced some problems as well when trying to claim some satoshi from the faucet from work. It said that it was already claimed from my IP, even when I was alone at the office.
