Is only full BTCs count? Or it will be proportionally? Like 0.3 or 0.6 will be 0 or 30% or 60% of 1btc

it will be proportionally.

Version 1.3 released https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases.
It includes TOR support in desktop wallets.

Also fixes the recently discovered bug that caused full wallets to crash with error "empty array in query params".

Other new features:
* Ability to re-send blackbytes in case they were not delivered
* If unit is set to GB, MB, GBB, etc, amounts are now shown with decimals

works fine (win10 x64).

thanks.

just one question:

why is the default install path for Byteball 1.3.0 x64 for win – Program Files (x86)?

i've changed it to Program Files and everything looks good.

how much Gbtyes will I get for 1 bitcoin tomorrow. thx!

current transition rate: 0.0625 Gb/btc.
ok... around 4 dollars...not worth it.

I believe I heard the same thing in 11-12 about BTC when it was easily bought for $3-$5. Not knockin ya...but just saying. I know I'm glad I didn't pass on the opportunity, and this is pretty much free. Compound the drops & hold, you won't regret it.

agreed.

all well maided things become more relevant over time.

what about HD wallets that generate unique addresses each time a spend is made and you have funds scattered around many addresses?

u can move all ur bb balance to any address within ur bb wallet.

so just use this option.

0.62Mbyte= ?  Gbyte       ,,,why  the second  round  distribution is so little?  how many 1btc can get  in the first round ?

0.62 Mb == 0.62x10^-3 Gb == 0.00062 Gb

first round info:
http://transition.byteball.org/firstround.html
0.70663132 btc/Gb

why the second round distribution is so little?
dev's decision + there are many nonzero bb balances that also participate in distribution.
But it is 62.5MB not 0.625MB.

That is 0.062GB, bot 0.0006...

yes,,, it is less than  1/10 fhe frist round ,,what the dev is doing ?

maybe it's because of

For the bytes you hold on February 11 you receive 0.1 new byte for each 1 byte of your balance, even if your bytes are not on linked Byteball addresses.
You also receive 0.21111 blackbytes for each 1 byte of your balance on the linked Byteball addresses.

i. e. in 2nd round u can get 10% only of ur current bb balance + additional 21% of blackbb.
and it's quite enough.
that is what the particpant of first round can get ,,,what for the first time to particapate the second round ,,,means  unfair

no, u got it wrong since u can simply buy necessary amount of bb without 1st round.

and all these bought bb will give u additional 10% bb and 21% blackbb.
So what can give you more bb, buying them and then linking or just linking our btc wallet?
Where can on buy bb btw?I think it is not available on exchange yet.

at current conditions a buying more profitable (in terms of bb) than linking to btc address.

u can buy bb via the wallet (chat with bot https://byteball.org/) or go to the exchange (https://cryptox.pl/).

Total balance linked: 102774.30223170 BTC * Transition rate: 0.0625 gigabyte/BTC=6423GB  will be distributed.
last round byteball 100000GB, equal to 160000BTC, 160000BTC*0.0625GB/BTC=10000GB will be distributed

so this round about 16000GB will be distributed, that's like 1.6% will be distributed in the second round. about 116000GB after second distribution

in the third round, the total byteball will be 116000 byte in circulation, and will get another 116000GB + bitcoin's new byte (maybe another 8000GB)

so 20000GB in Byte in 3rd distribution, so totally will be 132000GB after the third round distribution

the inflation rate maybe 2% per 15 days...

so it will take long time to distribute the total byteball.

2% doesn't matter because current fluctuations are far above.

are  you kiding ,,,in the first round  you can get 1.4 Gbyte/btc,   second round 0.0625Gbyte/btc,     this is the main difference ,,I will never buy an unfair distribution coin,,because it is the coin for the first round participants

got ur point but some opportunities are only available to the first participants.

how much are 65 mb in dollar atm?

Around five dollars. 1 GB is traded for between 0.07 and 0.08 BTC, 1 GB = 1000 MB, I'll let you do the math Wink.

and i have a question about the wallet.
i have a jaxx wallet and the amount of my btc are saved in different adresses.
i heard that it is possible to sign the different wallets to one adress with the electrum wallet.
is this possible? i dont want to move all my bitcoins from a to b thats to risky with that amount and the different adresses for me.
i dont want to make any mistakes. can anybody help me out?

You can link multiple Bitcoin addresses to the same or to many Byteball addresses. On Electrum, you can import your Bitcoin addresses by using your private keys and then sign your Byteball address(es) as you wish.

Seems to be problematic with Jaxx i dont have any private keys for my btc adresses i dont even have any overview on which adresses my btc are
all this testing and moving cost me btc i think its not worth it when you have btcs in mulitply wallets.

why don't u just install wallet that supports signing (btc core for example) and use new btc address for gettin bb just for few days?

and after this u may return to the initial conditions.

i have a prpblem with chatting with the transition bot.
i created already a wallet but everytime when i click on "chat with the transition bot"
i cant send a message to him. i tried to send my byteball adress to him but i always get in red delayed: ("code"."self_signed_cert_in_chain")
can someone help me?

it's nodejs issue.

OS/wallet ver.?

I have win 7 32bit
wallet version 1.2.0

wthat's the PF path name: «C:\Program Files» or «c:\Program Files»?

have u got some antivirus running (try to temporary disable it)?

i temporary disabled the antivirus and now it works i try to set byteball to the security exception.
thank you very much for your help  Smiley

ur welcome. ☺

Sorry for maybe a dumb question:

I wanted to link the BB address to get BlackBytes for the next giveaway. The bot says:

Quote
You also receive 0.21111 blackbytes for each 1 byte of your balance on the linked Byteball address, which currently is:
<byteball-address>: <amount-of-GB>.
Move your bytes to the linked address in order to maximize the amount of blackbytes you receive.

However, the ammount of GB it shows, is less than I have in my wallet in the actual address.
Am I missing anything? Are there some kind of "change addresses" where BB goes to when I make transactions? I would appreciate your help. TY!

Exactly, like in bitcoin, some bytes are transferred to change addresses when you do an outgoing tx. So best practice is to send your complete balance to yourself, using the address you've linked in the transition chat.

in this situation i have to send all bytes from address_1 to address_2 and then back to address_1 where:
address_1 – is linked to my btc and has problems (bot shows lower balance than it is actually);
address_2 – additional address within the same wallet.

am i gettin' this right?

Send it to address_1.
You can find all used addresses in the cogwheel menue under Advanced/Wallet Information.

i used only this one address_1 to all transactions and the difference between real balance and shown by bot info is near 2 %.

upd. solution:

i've had the same issue with my btc address (difference between blockchain.info and current btc address balance) and as i said above – byteball bot shows lower balance than it's actually is.

cure:

1. move all ur btc to the new btc address within ur btc wallet
2. move all ur bb to the new bb address within ur bb wallet
3. chat with the transition bot and link new btc address and new bb address (for examle via signing message in the btc core wallet).

worked for me fine.

the bot's info is correct now. ☺
