641  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] 3.5 BTC for PayPal on: April 20, 2013, 12:23:34 PM
Hi there,

I sell BTC3.5 for MtGox Last + 10%.
Prefer EUR, but USD okay too.

You have to be PayPal verified, have a well reputation (here), and preferable OTC.

You don't have to buy the full amount, just contact me with what you need.

/m
I am new buyer and looking for PayPal [if you look at my posts you'll see this Smiley]

would you be willing to use Escrow, like John K?

You have PM with price...
642  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] Less than 1BTC for PayPal USD on: April 20, 2013, 12:20:24 PM
Just in case you didn't know you can use https://www.bitinstant.com/ to convert BTC to PayPal, the fee is quite high but at least you don't need to go find a buyer or risk being scammed.
Cool. Thanks I have been trying to trade with PayPal on here for a while. I realise the stigma it carries though.
643  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin @ $105 on: April 20, 2013, 12:16:03 PM
Accept PayPal, will you use Escrow?
644  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] Less than 1BTC for PayPal USD on: April 20, 2013, 12:08:15 PM
PM me. I will buy through PayPal. Will you use Escrow?
645  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS 20 BTC via Paypal on: April 20, 2013, 12:07:24 PM

646  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] 20 Bitcoins [Western Union/Liberty Reserve] on: April 20, 2013, 12:06:15 PM

I think you are too expensive. Check out some other VPS boxes.
652  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Another ASIC company[Could be a scam?] on: April 15, 2013, 10:46:35 PM
That seems like a positive reply. I am glad to hear this.

I look forward to being the first to receive [or one of the 5, anwyays] one of these ASIC machines.
653  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling my Laptop - Sony Vaio VPC-SB1V9E/B - EU only! on: April 15, 2013, 01:24:39 PM
Still am.
Then you, clearly, have an understanding of value yet you have little to no understanding of your laptops valuation.

I think it's funny that you say "Oh BTC might go down......" as a ForEx trader you are very aware of small price movemements and ability to "cash in" on them at the right time. BTC give you an opportunity to sell your Laptop, last week, for roughly $5500 yet you thought this was a fair  Huh

I think you are crazy.
654  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling my Laptop - Sony Vaio VPC-SB1V9E/B - EU only! on: April 15, 2013, 11:42:30 AM
This is one of the most hilarious sale threads I have ever seen.

I particuarly like the part where you tell people you have been a hobby ForEx trader.

Guys, stop enabling scammers by buying and selling bitcoins through Paypal (it's against their TOS anyway). You'll get scammed as everyone has, there are no exceptions.

There are only 2 outcomes:

  • OP will buy your bitcoins, you'll send them, then you'll find that the Paypal was reversed later
  • OP will sell you bitcoins, you'll send payment, and he won't send the coins

JUST STOP THE NONSENSE. PAYPAL AND BITCOIN DO NOT MIX.
For you, PayPal and BTC do not mix, for others; It's OK.

BCB, for example, has many many transactions through PayPal.

Don't think I am trying to excuse people from scamming through PayPal - I'm not. I think they are all scumbags but don't have such venom to something which works for others just maybe not everyone.

I say this as PayPal, for me, would be the easiest method to buy BTC. If this makes me a scammer then, erm, so be it.

If you're the Sales/Marketing guy for the company, any company... and you can promote the company to be a non-scam company I think you will find you will do a hell of a lot more GOOD than BAD.
658  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Another ASIC company[Could be a scam?] on: April 14, 2013, 09:50:39 PM
Let me speak with Pete tomorrow and will let you guys know.

I personally think it is a great idea but ultimately I'm just sales/marketing so it isn't my decision to make I really don't think there should be any concerns with it though from our end.
This totally should be your decision.

I will pretty much assure you that if you can deliver a working ASIC to me then other people will order quickly. They will literally flow in. People want ASICs and people want them now.
659  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Another ASIC company[Could be a scam?] on: April 14, 2013, 09:47:14 PM
It's essentially a very good opportunity for this company to prove their worth.

I will document, pictures, update, etc if it happens.
660  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Another ASIC company[Could be a scam?] on: April 14, 2013, 09:41:14 PM
The way I would imagine it would work is...

You tell me price.
I pay that money to John K [you pay any Escrow fees associated - you are proving your value to the community, not me]

You ship.

I receive.

I confirm it works/mines.

John K releases funds.

You get MANY orders from other users.
