681  Economy / Services / Network Security Engineer For Hire on: April 13, 2013, 12:15:31 PM
Hi......

I am an experienced and certified Network Security Engineer specialising in IPS/IDS/Firewalls/Routing/Switching/Security/Architecture and Design review, mainly.

I can help you design new installs, configure new devices, provide feedback on ideas you might have etc.

Just putting it out there. I help plenty of people daily so if I can make some BTC that'd be cool!
682  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a script to show prices on: April 13, 2013, 11:46:26 AM
I believe I can help you out. Is there an offer of BTC for this work?

Would you like me to access your server and configure or just provide the code?

okay that may be the case hackstutz. the pool im using is a rather small one so it may just take a while to update worker activity, i hope this is the case.
In GUIMiner enable "CONSOLE" and check.
685  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: miner is working but website is not showing activity on: April 12, 2013, 01:08:00 PM
Tried GUIMiner to see if it's a miner issue?
686  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 0 Shares with HD Radeon 6850 on: April 12, 2013, 01:06:19 PM
Have you tried mining without any extra flags?

In GUIMiner add a new host - pick OpenCL.

Host: stratum.bitcoin.cz
Port: 3333
User: youruser
pass: yourpass

NO EXTRA FLAGS.

Mine.

try that?

"official" is a difficult word to use when you are talking about Bitcoin Wink

I believe it was somewhere between $150-170.
688  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Offering PayPal for Bitcoin? You're likely to be labeled a scammer - Read why on: April 12, 2013, 11:40:50 AM
Reading through is examples of scamming etc. This is unfortunately intrinsic to the online world. I guess we can't ever really verify what's going on.

On that note, though, I would like to buy some BTC using PayPal and would be happy to go through an Escrow with someone [ with a good rating/rep on here ] to participate as the Escrow. I think using PayPal Gift makes it impossible for a chargeback to occur?

If someone can help with this I would be interested in trading. I am new to BTC and have, currently, about 0,005BTC so not enough to be worthwhile of anything.

Ashley have you got GUIMiner opened currently?

If so enable the "CONSOLE" and check you are actually actively joining/mining with the pool. You should enable "SUMMARY" also to see your shares being accepted or if they are going stale.

Check the User/Pass is configured correctly. Checking the CONSOLE should report some errors/problems.

If you need some more help post back and I will help.

Wise words. It should be common sense but last few months has seen BTC be used as an attempt at getting rich quick.

I am looking to get into BTC and currently started fooling around with GPU Mining and eventually [hopefully] ASIC Mining.

Are you interested to sell your BTC here, or, more directly, to me?

The business/enterprise community will really be the ultimate life/death of BitCoin particularly as value goes up up up.

More and more smaller companies seem to be moving to accepting BitCoin but from a realistic point of view you need to consider if a companyA takes BitCoin for, say, 3 months, and BitCoin value nose dives they have a lot of useless funding. It'll be an interesting few months to see how BitCoin levels/increases.
695  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the best ways to get bitcoins. on: April 08, 2013, 02:57:03 PM
I like the the idea of meeting, face-to-face through the Local BitCoin exchanges. Seems a bit more legit.

Hello to everyone. I am here to talk about Mining. I think I am late to the BitCoin Party but might still be worth a look!
698  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: April 08, 2013, 02:54:39 PM
I want to discuss ASIC Mining/Hardware. Hopefully I can be whitelisted soon.
