Project looks good, applying for Beta. My concern is how to incentivize current signal providers to make the switch.

Total supply is in the top of the explorer ( https://explorer.shiftnrg.org/). About 10mil currently. Annual inflation is 1mil coins or so. Every 27 seconds one coin is forged. I'll just do a quoteception: How do Maidsafe and Shift differ a lot? I am not well versed in the technical details, but on the surface Shift sounds like an interesting project.
The Maidsafe website talks about files being split into parts and distributed throughout the network, Shift talks about 101 delegates - are files also split into parts like Maidsafe?
Why is there a limit of 101 delegates? - does Maidsafe also have such a limit? It seems having the files spread across more hosts would be more secure.
I am also wondering, does shift have it's own associated domain suffix? Is there a way that the use of a DNS is not required?
Sorry for potentially naive questions, perhaps they have been already answered but this is quite a large thread.
-Shift and Maidsafe's final products will be similar I believe. Here's a quote (copy+paste) from Ralf, one of the lead devs, from the Ryver channel; "Hi, you can't really compare the development of Maid with Shift. Grown really stable the last couple of months." -I'm not sure of if files will be split up or not, but I know the intent is to decentralize web hosting, so the files will be distributed around the network. -There is no limit on delegates, I think technically there can be any number that's uneven so you can't hit a 50/50 consensus and break off into two chains. For example, I think ARK has 51 and it's also based on the LSK DPOS system. 101 was likely chosen since that's what LSK had and it provided a good opportunity to have a lot of forging spots without being an unreachable number for Shift at the time. Not sure on how Maidsafe will run it. The 101 delegates are mainly for keeping the chain running, they will not be the only ones who can host data. Once Phantom is released I think anyone will be able to host data and earn Shift to some extent. I don't have a direct quote for this one, but I think I remember it being said in the Ryver channel. -Not sure on this one, but I recall it being discussed in the Ryver channel at one point. Today is really looking very good with buy support at 14k floor. My point of view on the changing situation and positions is we will not see anymore lower prices than these current prices with just minor correction. It has been lot of time for accumulation and that is about to be over soon and then it is going to the ....where it should be just up.
Added to this the fact that trst could well be added to polo in a few days, which I think is pretty likely, then moon... What makes you think that? |

hope people don't see the huge potential of this coin and hinder me to fill my bags  It's still undervalued coin from my point of view at the moment price should be over $10 as recent testing gone wonderful. This first truly decentralized exchange has huge potential I also bought last night under 70k and will hold my coins till $100.
I think Blocknets the next Ethereum ! $4,590,422,721 x 3,900,000 = $ 1170.00, and when people find out and word gets out it may happen overnight ! Blocks nodes has value.Less of the fudding please. If you want block to rise do not attempt to pump it, let the product speak for it's self. |

Is there anything inovative about this coin? All I am able to find is people mentioning how great it is without really giving any insight as to why... Does someone care to explain? The website does not shed much light on this either.

Hey guys, glad I noticed your straight forward project, felt in love with it instantly.
Question: what are the benefits compared to projects where files are stored as hashes in IPFS?
As I get this, allion can get cracked down by authorities very easily. Is this to be changed?
Would also like to know this. |

you should have a look at SpectreCoin. a privacy focused coin which connects via Tor by default. they are building an android app for anonymous money transfer. Hello all, sorry in advance for a noob question.
Today I took the plunge and decided to buy some BELA. So I purchased some on Nova and downloaded the wallet. Now my problem is my wallet won't sync, or even begin to sync. I have already tried re-installing the wallet, resetting my router and pc with no luck. Any suggestions?
