7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties on: April 26, 2018, 08:12:24 PM
I have WGR tokens on my WAVES wallet. I heard that they want to realize their own blockchain (or already?).
What do I need to do with my WGR tokens on WAVES wallet?

Thx for answer!

Why not visit their website? There's even a link right on the frontpage: https://www.wagerr.com/
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: April 25, 2018, 11:01:20 PM
Good day for the crypto world today, bitcoin -4% still number 1.
Excellent day for Waves : rank #45.

The more they deliver, the more Waves sink. Laughable.

Many expected project goes hockey stick only with rumors that they are working on a hot topic
When Waves says they will deliver smart contract (a hot topic for sure but ......well only on testnet !!!!) then price goes south.

My conclusion : no one expect nothing from waves except some fanatics.
This is my only explanantion : Waves actually makes no sense.

But you know what drives the prices of the top-shitcoins? High speculations on "huuuuuuuge" business cases, and whales.
The actually useful things aren't considered worthy yet. Time will come where smart money overcomes the gambling masses, and manipulation fades with less volatility.

Those are not binaries, they are installs (exe).  Where are the stand-alone binaries?

Most users like setup files, so only setup files were published. If you want non-setup exe binaries you are free to use the source to build them yourself - that is the beauty of open source.

I'm fully aware of that, thanks.

Every previous release has been supplied with non-setup binaries, that's why I asked. Compiling wallets is beyond the average users capabilities & most people don't like installing software for security reasons, especially on windoze - including me. I can & do compile wallets for my Linux machines, but my windoze skills are limited - I'd like to keep it that way.

So, if anyone here has the ability to compile the windoze binaries & upload them (especially 64bit), I & many other users would be grateful.

You could use programs like "Universal Extractor" to extract files from the setup file.

You could try https://nemchange.com, a pretty new exchange.

You meant WAU COIN Right? ... WAU is built to be the best store of value Smiley
Quote from: Midas111
WAU Coin outperformed gold, silver, S&P500, DOW, Treasury bonds, High Yield Bonds, Bitcoin, the total cryptocurrency market, USD, Euro, and all major asset classes in 2018 so far. It is built to be the best store of value on earth. You can buy it on waves dex in the waves /WAU coin pair. It really is the best store of value there is.

Don't fall for that people. He's just fooling y'all.

One of the Team members have been associated with 2 old crypto scams. I wouldn't want to take the risk to invest in this coin anymore.

I would advise people take extreme caution with this coin.

Maybe you want to elaborate instead of just throwing accusations?

I'm new to crypto don't be harsh.

Bartedex seems very cool but seriously, c+v/typing your very own passphrase don't feel safe. I'm not saying i'm personaly at risk of keylogger.

But there is this paranoia : maybe is there an hidden virus in my computer ?

Don't you think that can prevent adoption of barterdex ? I mean people love to do dirty things on the internet right ? lol Passphrase is THE freacking paranoid item. Ledger owners can attest.

Is my question stupid and why ? thanks

Then it's already too late.

Works! Transfered my coins today with the "not recommended" method.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4M3_HvhkW7U

What I don`t like by all wallets in general. Imagine you transfer coins to your wallet and then your pc crashes and you have not saved the new wallet.dat. All coins would be gone.
How can I avoid this?

You create your receive address and backup the wallet afterwards.
Then you transfer the coins.

Still absurdly overpriced. This WILL crash like the rest of the crypto nonsense.

Noone gives a shit and I'm pretty sure this (the hype) will continue for a good while.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: January 13, 2018, 10:51:51 PM
IMO RaiBlocks had the other best distribution, they used captchas to distribute their coins.

There are paid services solving captchas for you in an automated way, in seconds (really cheap, $0.50 for 1000).

seriously,can you provide details bro?

It's no secret I guess: "2captcha"
