21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs USD - Which one is better? on: July 20, 2019, 02:45:51 PM
I definitely prefer a bitcoin. Because I am Asian.

Cool! Why should we use the US dollar when it only benefits the US government. I like Bitcoin because it's decentralized. And the potential is still very high.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: House Democrats call for Facebook to halt cryptocurrency project on: July 03, 2019, 03:37:45 PM
They really have a good point especially on hacking security and the need of an insurance. But I am not sure how these lawmakers which composed mostly of old people which are not this knowledgeable when it comes to technology. There is also the possibility that they wanted to get in and spy on people. If this Libra will indeed transacts in trillions in the future then it is also bad for the US dollar market.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptopia dead, shitcoins gone forever? on: May 15, 2019, 02:36:21 PM
Cryptopia hired professional liquidators in order to analyze and assure the assets at the best level. Big chances that they might sell all those assets in order to pay Cryptopia users with balances. I am positive that people will receive payments but not the total amount. Those big accounts are ones to lose most here. Sad

Congrats on the listing on Bittrex International! The team has been rooting for this for a long time. Hopefully this will further help in spreading the worth about the company under the crypto community!

Congrats. I am thinking if bittrex can retain its old spot at the top in the future. But this is already a big achievement by HST.
25  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Democracy Yes OR No ??? on: March 27, 2019, 11:21:14 PM
There is no perfect type of government, but I do prefer democracy over any others.  At least democracy give the people a voice in how they should be governed.

Sometimes letting the whole populace picking its leaders becomes bad when a state's literacy rate is too low.

27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: January 28, 2019, 06:08:19 AM
Basketball is becoming more popular nowadays including betting. I'll try to follow this and also basketball events. It is hard to win a bet with less knowledge.

I guess OP is still losing few dollars with that 61% winning rate.
28  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ethereum Classic Vision scam on: January 13, 2019, 05:29:51 PM
Exchanges like yobit are just a shame for the community. The sums of the stolen eth are already approaching 100k$  Angry Lips sealed if you count the tokens that are also stolen from those who entered their private key. Proves again that greed leads to mistakes. Added merits to you measures for this important topic sure that you saved many new users.

agreed with you mate yobit like exchange is a poor evil for cryptocurrency community for sure peoples have to leave these scammy exchange yobit at its worst.  Cry

I still see some people Yobit signature I don't know if Yobit still offer signature campaign, or they are just a believer of Yobit, with so many complaints I wonder when will Yobit close their trading platform, we have so many exchanges coming in.

Dafuq! Yobit listed ETCV. Not surprising as it is also a scammy exchange. I thought the Russian government closed it already. People wearing Yobit signature deserve red trusts definitely.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is growing at nonstop rates in my country on: January 09, 2019, 04:05:40 PM

Can you tell where exact location because i am really curious, as i know only two gambling capital in the world the whole city are open for all kind of gambling in the city.
If not wrong according to the new i heard the two gambling capital city is came from asia  at china locatted  in macau and united states of america at las vegas city.
Thats the same places i also thinking about what is OP talking because only Las Vegas and Macau is where the gambling called Paradise, though there are some places also in other part of the workd where casinos are growing with the support of the governments

In asia there and germany i heard that many places are entertaining gamblers in good manners also

There are too many places that entertains gambling and governments are even giving incentives on casino investors because it is very big market. In Europe, Monaco is also popular. i think Macau is now the biggest gambling place in the world. Many eastern Asian countries are also offering high incentives in order to compete.

In most under-developed countries, where there are few employment opportunities, people tend to try gambling to change their faith. That's one reason why gambling is increasing all over the world.
I don't think gambling is popular in under developed county. When people have money they can try options but when they don't have much to live then their options are limited. I guess westerners are the targeted customers for gambling industry.

Yeah, they don't want to use the money for just gamble because they must buy their needs. Although the gambling itself is not popular in the under-develop country, I think some people still playing gambling because they believe that they can earn money with fast. People will play in the hidden place, and they will play the traditional gambling only because this is what they did.

Generally, rich people are the ones that gambles a lot. Some poor people gamble too but with limited volume and are mostly betting with their friends and locals. Some countries like Singapore imposed high entrance fees on their local citizens when entering casinos.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 03, 2019, 11:52:29 AM
Just discovered this fine thread.

Ready to learn a lot about the NBA from you guys Smiley
Will start betting pretty soon. GSW and Curry are my fav's tho!
Yeah, go ahead. Tomorrow they have game against the visiting rockets, time to bet, although they are heavily favored
but I think they will win that game. They have been embarrass by the Lakers, so they will make a win tomorrow, probably a blowout win.

What are the odds?
I'll probably place a small bet Smiley

Embarrassed? No way GSW was getting embarrassed by their ordinary game lost to Lakers. Regular games aren't really 100% worth to try hard especially on a bad night. See you come playoff series.  Tongue
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] QuarkChain - A High-Capacity Peer-to-Peer Transactional System on: December 25, 2018, 05:15:12 AM
Just in few days lot of things took place and at this important phase where everyone has gone ? This is what surprises me most. Mining tutorial, updated on commercial space and most recently Christmas reward as bounty of 1 million QKC has been announced. We have testnet launch coming in days now. All these positive and big updates but thread is not showing impact of these things.

The forum and most of its thread are becoming silent since the weakening of bitcoin. Lately the whole crypto market starts to bounce back. Altcoins are also on the rise. It will be exciting how far this can go.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] DeepOnion ONION 🌍 Private Digital Currency 🌍 DeepVault App Released ✅ on: December 22, 2018, 02:56:49 AM

How much are the estimated prizes on this lottery now based on the previous draws?
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] DeepOnion ONION 🌍 Private Digital Currency 🌍 DeepVault App Released ✅ on: December 19, 2018, 01:53:46 AM
DeepOnion is listed on Xiphos.Exchange. We have created information pages for all of the coins listed on Xiphos. ONION also has one. We created these pages because it is important for people to understand what coins they are able to trade and give them easy access to find out more about those projects. This is to fuel the curiosity of traders to invite them to trade with coins unknown to them. We already put some information up about DeepOnion that we have found on your website, but we created a feature for developers to make it possible to edit and legitimize their projects. They can do this by messaging us their Xiphos username from a verified account of a social media instance, emailing with an official DeepOnion email or other proof of development authentication. To find out what information is currently on the page, check out your current Tradeable: https://Xiphos.Exchange/exchange/trade/ONION

I haven't seen a thread for Xiphos.Exchange at DeepOnion forum, that will help other members to know more about this exchange there, just like Coindeal they have their own thread  https://deeponion.org/community/threads/coindeal.40117/

under cryptocurrencies exchanges talk section.

First time I hear this Xiphos too. But it is a good decision as Deep Onion have one of the best community. I am even thinking about approaching another new exchange on adding Deep Onion for more popularity.
35  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: December 16, 2018, 11:34:55 AM
Cryptopia site is looking better and cooler now. It's been a while since I stopped trading due to the falling market. Now I can feel most top coins especially bitcoin are ready for the big bounce.
36  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coindeal - legit exchange??? on: December 16, 2018, 10:56:14 AM
My advice, don't trade at Coindeal! I've been trading for months there and the platform is very unstable, withdraws/deposits take far too long sometimes far mor then 24 hours!!), every day empty hot wallets, fake volumes which they create themselves and so on. Don't do it, you will be sorry!!

I can`t deny that CoinDeal had some technical issues at the beginning but now everything works beyond reproach.

I may also want to try this exchange too reason why I am looking for comments here. Regarding this guy's complain especially on withdrawals that sometimes takes more than 24 hours. It was already stated in the FAQ section that most of the funds are locked on offline wallets. So it is expected to take a while especially on huge withdrawals.

So I guess this exchange is good as people have no problems at all so far.

This week we released our production release of the Stratis Core Wallet. For anyone that hasn't been able to download the wallet, we will be tweeting out images of our brand new wallet today.

We hope you like it as much as we do.

This is cool. Maybe this upgraded cool wallet will offset the significant decrease of price today.

Is next year's yearly conference is still happening in India? Anything good the Indian market in return did on Stratis so far?
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BANCA - THE Wall Street on BLOCKCHAIN on: December 12, 2018, 04:17:37 AM
The volume in hitbtc is worsening. Are the team not putting some buy walls or they are 100% letting the public decide? Good thing Hotbit is there but we don't know how long.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BANCA - THE Wall Street on BLOCKCHAIN on: November 11, 2018, 09:43:31 AM
Good thing you guys are always communicating. But to be honest, do you keep on dumping your holdings for your company's expenses? Because the price slump is one of the worst I ever seen on rel projects. Angry
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Exchange? on: October 08, 2018, 10:10:25 AM
Binance needs to verify identity to be able to execute the transaction
Not really, you can verify your ID (KYC) only when you want to withdraw more than 2 btc each day.

I have account on the binance, i think you should KYC because, this is need for your account.
I also have an account on binance but i didn't do KYC until now since i don't need to do that.

Ahh. So that is why I am labeled unverified on Binance even if I submitted verification docs before? Did they changed some of their rules? I think I am allowed 50 BTC daily before. I am unverified but I got 2 BTC limits daily which isn't bad. KYC is different from verification levels?
