I indeed found a bug where some unintended ip banning on stratum happened in case you've used claymore over ssl.

Fixed now!

17 seconds later and the problem is solved.  Grin I'm back.

How is the payment address + ID coming along?

I'd say I'm at 80%... Some checks need to be implemented that users don't enter false payments ids or no id at all. Also the id has to be removed when the user changes to a kraken address with integrated ID etc..  It's not as easy as thought first, but I'm pretty far already

Glad to hear. Keep up the good work!

I've also been IP banned. For no apparent reason, rejects shot up to about 33% on all rigs which is (I assume) why I was banned. Rigs are 100% stable on any algo for weeks on end, and before this happened I was sitting at 0.01% rejected according to ethman across all rigs.

Unfortunately, I've had to switch back to dwarf for the time being. Let me know when you've solved the issue and I'll be back.

Cool, no problem.

Synced now: xmr-us.suprnova.cc

Same port as on the regular server

Is it SSL enabled? Can't connect with :5221

Fun read, thanks. Do you run a pool, op?

No US server yet?
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 on: January 06, 2017, 04:40:11 AM
Anyone know if claymore's miner can be used to solo mine?
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 on: January 06, 2017, 12:18:16 AM
https://xmr.suprnova.cc/ is working perfectly for those looking for a proper pool, and the pool op is great.

9.7 is perfectly stable across my 20+ rigs. If you're having issues with it, it's either your pool crapping out or your rigs aren't properly configured.

Glad to hear the US server is coming up soon.

It's not possible to pay out directly to poloniex, right?

Hi ocminer,

Any chance of opening up a US/Canada eastern SSL server? I'm getting response times of ~150ms vs ~10-15ms on dwarfpool.

Sure, it's already in the works, should be available in max 24h

Awesome. Got all my rigs switched over, thanks for the great pools!

Thanks for the update, claymore. Working perfectly across my 20+ rigs.

ocminer, I'll be switching to your pool when I have a bit more free time I think.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 on: January 04, 2017, 08:53:30 PM
I get this on dwarfpool Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application.Im i the only one?

Working fine over here, W10 64 bit.

Glad to hear you're working on an update, claymore! Any chance you can add auto detect in ethman so it knows what client we're running? You could have 3 speed ratings available in the rig properties, ETH/ZEC/XMR so the manager keeps up when we switch algorithms.

While non-RX cards was doing great on v9.6, unfortunately very unstable for RX cards.

I've got a few RX 480/470 rigs running perfectly on 9.6, think it might be something to do with your setup. Here's an example of a 6 GPU rig running for almost 3 days straight:

Rig is running W10 4GB RAM 16.11.4 with 4x 480 and 2x 470, all have modded timings.

Yes, its due to the Crimson drivers.
I have to upgrade the drivers to 16.11.x to get it stable with v9.6 -- it will be a lot of work and downtime.
Hope v9.7 will work better with my existing drivers.

I believe you can copy the appropriate files from newer drivers into the miner's folder, and the miner will use those instead of the currently installed driver's version. That would allow you to keep your old drivers and get the benefits of the newer ones. Maybe claymore can comment.

But come to think of it, your drivers can't be any older than June. I have a rig running with the RX release drivers and it's just as stable as my 16.11.4 rig that I posted. Drivers may not be your issue.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Review of Panda Miner coming up. on: December 31, 2016, 08:38:47 AM
what's the point of this if the consumption is way higher than a normal rig with 6 x 480 or 470?

a 6 x 470 rig can do 600 watt 1400-1500, that thing consume more than 1k watt for just the same hash...

Gotta assume that the voltage is stock on these, so lots of potential to save power with undervolting.

Speaking of which, Phil can you confirm if watttool and afterburner works on these? Maybe also grab a screenshot of gpu-z? Also, if you're going to reinstall windows I'd advise doing that on a new drive and keeping the original, or of you don't have a spare drive at least clone the drive so you can revert if need be.

Also, what driver version did the rig ship with? I wonder if Windows is genuine or if it's cracked. Either way, I don't think I'd want to keep a Chinese version of Windows on there. Windows is bad enough in terms of spying on users, I can't even imagine what China would demand of Microsoft to give them permission to distribute the OS over there.

Looks like I have a big plate of crow to eat! Fantastic looking piece of kit. Sorry for being such a dick, pandaminer.

I still don't see the point VS building your own 6, 7, or 8 GPU rig, though. 1 month warranty VS 3 years on most PC components. Absolutely no market when it comes time to sell the hardware or upgrade.. Huge import taxes for anyone not living in the US. But this is good for quick deployment and people who are clueless when it comes to building a PC.
