381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: August 07, 2017, 02:56:06 PM
I think btc price is coming high for a long time, every time wish that this may increase for next month.
Now, this target of $4000 seems easily reachable. I think that could happen even on the end of this month.
We will see it reaches $5000 on the end of year, maybe even sooner. Wink
Your speculations are seeming reasonable as well. But I read some article from experts which is explain that the bitcoin prices to have $5000 levels by end of this month itself because when scalability issue is completely getting fixed in smooth way, we can expect more investors will be coming into bitcoin to adopt it for longer haul.
382  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: August 07, 2017, 09:13:02 AM
Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? I am confused to buy bitcoin now when it's value is too high.
All the commodities which are having huge demand must be having more volatility. I like to suggest you to go buying bitcoins as bitcoin will be having very bright future and it will have value in millions in coming years.

So, you do not need to hesitate to invest into bitcoin and this must be the right time to buy bitcoin for cheaper prices. Act today and avoid regrets.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8th August on: August 07, 2017, 08:37:44 AM
Who is all expecting a price pump on that day?
I am expecting a huge pump on 8th of august. Bitcoin might surely cross 3400$ this time for sure, it will go with a rocket speed after it. Bitcoin has already became unstoppable, but anytime it may give us any heart breaking news. But we can trust bitcoin and keep buying them Smiley
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New York City Employee Disciplined For Mining Bitcoin at Work on: August 06, 2017, 08:08:21 PM
https://news.bitcoin.com/new-york-city-employee-disciplined-for-mining-bitcoin-at-work/

A New York City employee was recently caught mining bitcoin at work, which stemmed from a 2014 incident. Vladimir Ilyayev is a worker for the city’s department of education. He admitted to bypassing work security and mining bitcoin on the job without the proper permissions. The City of New York Conflicts of Interest Board disciplines him as a result of the action.

The case report summarized Ilyayev’s admissions: “I ran bitcoin mining software on my New York City Employee Disciplined For Mining Bitcoin at WorkDOE computer from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. every night from March 19, 2014, until April 17, 2014….During that time, I monitored the progress of my bitcoin mining software from my home computer using remote access software.”

Furthermore, Ilyayev admitted to installing the equipment during work and profiting from the mining activity when he was supposed to be working. His code of conduct for employment states he was not supposed to be engaging in any kind of personal finance transactions while working. He also admitted to the dates that he began installing the mining software without permission from the DOE.

Sanctions against Ilyayev; Bitcoin Mining at Work
After the board investigated the case, they decided to punish Ilyayev financially. According to the report, for misusing City time and engaging in profit making activity, Ilyayev had to forfeit 4 days of leave. This totals out to about $611. The employee agreed with the punishment and signed off on it.

Other news sources reported this kind of bitcoin mining by DOE employees has happened before. There was an incident back in 2015 with a DOE network engineer. This kind of “wrongful” bitcoin or cryptocurrency mining is somewhat attractive, and may continue into the future.
As some would say “If I was his boss at work, this guy is really going to be fired. He was wrong, he left the job he's supposed to do for his country, and was busy mining bitcoin”...but may looking at the case, maybe this guy wasn't paid enough monthly salary. Maybe he had lots of problems that his monthly salary can't solve. Or maybe he's a greedy a-hole. We don't know his condition… So don't judge.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with cash from sales on: August 06, 2017, 03:07:30 PM
Sales? As in selling? I'm not familiar with that scenario in the crypto currency world. People sell their crypto currency?!

I'm kidding, of course. But my question is if you don't have something specific you need to spend the proceeds on (like a debt) why are you selling your crypto currency? One of the fundamental characteristics of crypto currency is the finite money supply, which means that if demand is constant the crypto currency is worth more tomorrow than it is today. That reason alone should want you to keep yoru crypto currency on balance, in your wallet.

I'd recommend keeping as little of your wealth in fiat currency. Fiat currency is always worth less tomorrow than it is today.
I too think the same. Instead of just converting the cryptocurrency to fiat, we can store them in the wallet and then sell it when its double the price we bought. It will be more profitable I guess instead of just converting it to fiat which is worth nothing in future. Instead of just keeping the cryptocurrency in wallet, we can also use it to have some more profits on trading, investing, etc (Of course with some knowledge).
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker tells Bitcoin creator, 'You are not safe. Get out.' on: August 05, 2017, 06:55:10 PM
Thats funny, I think people will never stop their search about who is Satoshi Nakamoto.
Anyway Bitcoin is now full live currency and doesn't really matter to know who is its creator.
Yeah! That’s indeed ludicrous. Hackers can’t destroy anything. They can’t do any harm to bitcoins. Bitcoins security level is damn high. I don’t think so they have any fear of getting hacked by the hackers.
Fools can just talk about destroying bitcoins. Their dreams can never ever come true.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: August 04, 2017, 07:41:17 PM
the safest bitcoin stored in trezor electrum blockchain ,, all safe stay we how to keep it and keep the key well, if in the exchanger we just turn on 2fa
The electrum is one of the best wallets up till now. Yeah! It is best for those who lack patience. Electrum is one of the oldest wallets available for storing coins. The best thing about it is its simplicity i.e. electrum is user friendly. All the keys are safe with this wallet. I just want the team to launch android version also.
388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Above $3000 before Aug1. on: August 03, 2017, 08:59:46 PM
What will you do if the alternative bitcoin can't survive? Maybe it will be a Scam? Who knows how many free coins they give out and where they got them. I don't think it's a chance to get rich. For me it's a big risk and I will remain loyal to the old bitcoin.
I also consider it a big risk and I think along with me no one will ready to take such a huge risk. Bitcoin is great mature cryptocurrency even facing hurdles in the market by expected hard fork. I cannot believe that any other currency will compete Bitcoin in the market in future. It will be foolish step to give importance to any other cryptocurrency on the most mature currency in the market (Bitcoin). Bitcoin is the king currency of all cryptocurrencies.
389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Practice trading on: August 02, 2017, 09:09:29 PM
Hello im newbie and i dont have any experience as a trader. Can you discuss some solutions for my problem?

The solution will be to read and study and practice and ask from reliable people who have extensive experiences already. That's what I am doing right now actually. Perhaps, you may start from choosing your best trading platform. Bittrex is the most famous as there are so many coins there. Try creating a bittrex.com account and explore and familiarize the buttons there.
I certainly agree to that, I think try to read some article that related to the bitcoin trading or any kind of trading. In addition to that, try to talk to the people who expert in trading because it will help you to become a wise trader. Lastly, I believe that trading will help you to become millionaire or billionaire in the near future.
I support your prediction. Bitcoins are definitely going to produce numerous rich people in the near future. Yeah, in order to learn trading efficiently, it is wise to learn it from YouTube. YouTube tutorials are worth watching. Besides reading related articles and news, practicing trading on demo accounts is great option.
390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will happen after SEGWIT? on: July 31, 2017, 05:33:25 PM
I am very optimistic that the outcome will be positive and  segwith activation will be successful and bitcoin price is going to pump up.  First August is here and the political part of bitcoin will definitely not going to have their way off bringing bitcoin down. I will keep on hold my bitcoin for better days ahead.
Already theymos have confirmed after the implementation of BIP91, those segwit activation will become as a non-event. It means we are not going to face any hassles but we will get scalabilty issue to be solved.

If this is the case to be happening in real tomorrow, then we can see new investors will be rushing into bitcoin and existing people also will be investing more from the level they could. These will definitely take bitcoin into new heights.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: July 31, 2017, 09:48:56 AM
The more you lose in the game big amount, is the more you become greed unto it, due to you want to win big. That's why, greediness is the number one source why we lose bigger than the balance to our bankroll. So it is much better for real to quit or stop gambling anymore mate before you become totally wreck.

I think that is the total opposite of myself. I am the type of people who surrenders easily, the time that I know that I can't be successful with that type of work or activity, I stop. I think we must have that type of thinking even in a little percentage, even a little part of our brain especially when we are talking about gambling which is only about risk and luck
Instead of continuously struggling with a gambling, in my opinion too your decision must be very right. Unlike any other field, in gambling you could never find the any improvement over time or when you will be gaining experiences. Gambling will be same regardless of how much experience you are having.

When there will be no improvement with our gambling activities then quitting will be the easiest option in front of all the gamblers and I believe we are doing it at right time every time.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it worth using bitcoins anymore for gambling ? on: July 31, 2017, 09:08:38 AM
For me bitcoin used for gambling is fair. Because the bitcoin itself is anonymous to make nobody know who the gambler is. Excess with a deposit using bitcoin does not need an identity

I agree with you but I hope they will solve the scaling issues as we draw towards the eve of the activation so that we can use it even more for our gambling activities.
I believe after segwit only tx fees may get reduced (it seems already a lot of improvement in reducing tx fees as only less than 5k transactions are in mempool unconfirmed now a days). But the value of bitcoin will remain same to make us to have secondary thoughts about gambling with least amounts like 1000 satoshi or even 100 satoshi.

Before people do spend 0.001 for gambling more freely but now it values more than $2.5 so throwing away ~$2 is bit hard to anyone imho.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: July 31, 2017, 08:34:46 AM
When has achieved profit of about 10%, then i immediately get out of casino. Because i realize, if i keep playing can be sure i will lose.
That is good get out from playing casino when get the profit, so you can take control feel greed in gambling, but we never get the profit every time in gambling games, it will be difficult for do it because there are no way for it, so the best time to leaves the is when we have got the profit and when we have got the losing in gambling games.
Yes, a result which can be either profit or loss but must be treated as the end of day to leave gambling so that we can minimize many gambling problems including addictions.

Unfortunately many gambling games are having fast track nature to get us one result. So, you may get your profit or loss within a minute hence you will never think about leaving gambling in just two minutes. Hence setting up limits on number of results will be perfect solution here. But setting up will be easier but following them must be dying hard.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: July 31, 2017, 08:02:38 AM
Gambling can be in both ways it can help you by winning and it can make it worse by losing anything

And if you are just losing, it's not helping you with your finances. In other positive idea, it is helping you to teach a very good lesson that you should not full blast your money with gambling or it is teaching you that chances of winning bigger amount in gambling is only happening once in a blue moon.
If losses are lessons then there will be no gambler existing as everyone would have learned the big lessons and might have quit gambling some long time back itself.

People are ignoring losses and want to keep trying with gambling just because of they are they having some hope with gambling. Coming out of those fake belief is not possible for most of the gamblers that is the reason they are finding their life struggling due to gambling.

Ignoring losses is nothing but ignoring big lessons of life time.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ripple is going to reach 4000% in 2nd Quarter on: July 31, 2017, 07:34:46 AM
Ripple is finished.
I strongly agreed with you. Ripple has perished away from the face of earth and there are not in chances in fraction of its revival. I guess all those who are still supporting ripples must be living in dream world. Here the crypto currencies especially bitcoins are leading the market. I don’t think so ripples can again be back in form.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum Trading also stop on August 1? on: July 31, 2017, 06:43:08 AM
Will ETH also stop trading this JULY 31st to August 1 UTC in exchanger sites? and will USDT be affected in this BTC update?
I remember many people recommends ETH trading as it is slightly less effective than bitcoin, But we cannot say that it can be stop it will continue and in future Eth  trading is known as best own but now it is the era of bitcoin so get it more and more invest whatever you have.
Yes you are right we have to look today not future because we do not know what happen in future expect this lovely info that bitcoin’s price to start rising again on 1st august, So, ETH have no value now a day but may be some where in future they get attention. I do not want to get struck in between times.
397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: July 31, 2017, 04:13:03 AM
Trading is a job that makes me confused. Because prices in the ever-changing marketplace change. What you katan true .. difficult to predict the market prices rise or fall. In trading we can get big profits in one trading. But there is also a big risk waiting for you. Preferably before you trade, you learn about how to trade .. trading strategy .. market analysis .. etc. Maybe it will help you to profit
I agree with you. Trading does face unpredictable changes. The prices keep on fluctuating but that does not mean we should fear them. We can treat them as positive aspect of the crypto market. It is advisable to study market deeply in order to avoid scams and losses. I will advise you to always stay faithful to bitcoins. They won’t disappoint you like other coins.
398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: July 30, 2017, 10:03:49 PM
don't trade for a year!
I feel this statement is too extreme, you may be too panic with the current situation. 2 months I think all will be back to normal. Some people are waiting BTC down, 1 week ahead and take the lowest price. After August we look forward to the highest BTC prices.
After one weak the prices will be lowest and after then the prices will be start rising with the great margin and trading strategies will be same as people do before like buy bitcoins  wait for at least two months and then sell it on dream price. That’s look perfect trading even for newbie.
399  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: July 30, 2017, 09:52:49 PM
Forget about everything else and just put everything on bitcoin. You are living with your parents, they pay everything for you, you got nothing to lose. If I was living with my parents, I would save everything and buy bitcoin monthly. If BTC doesn't keep rising you can still reach the 21 BTC holder group, then save this and retire in 10 years when the price makes you a millionaire.

Go all in on regret later. You are on a privileged position to profit from high risk high reward moves. No risk no win, and BTC is the best long term high risk bet.

If we analyze this issue, teaching bitcoin to young kids are not good because at their age they must focus on their study rather than that thing. They are not so knowlegeable enough and wise to deal on with bitcoin. Maybe if they are already teenage.
Yes, if student/Young were trained psychologically then we can say that it would be panic if we teach them a bitcoin as a currency lesson so they would be able to invest in their future we should not need to teach them with force like many people believe here.
400  Economy / Goods / Re: Unlimited 4G LTE Hotspot Devices on: July 30, 2017, 08:08:20 PM
Do these devices have the SIM fixed or inbuilt or detachable and work with any SIM from the same service provider too ?
If at any point of time the Internet Service Provider patches or fixes the loophole which the device abuses, will it be still operating with normal plans of the providers or will it become totally useless  ?
