241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most important cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: January 26, 2021, 11:04:35 PM
I know plenty of other top projects other than Bitcoin that isn't Monero. You asked for important cryptocurrencies apart from bitcoin but you are talking about Monero only. If you like privacy coins, there are other good privacy coins available right now.

Other good projects:-
Polkadot,
Cardano
LINK
AVAX - has privacy too.

I like polkadot. Little by little we can see that people started to use polkadot chain in their project, it can be used to substitute using eth blockchain for  cheaper transaction fee and faster than usual. polkadot is getting hyped this days resulting to a good price in the market, I hope it will be adapted as fast as it could be, and that could be the reason why the price is still pumping now. I am rooting for polkadot, in terms of link I am still holding that since they said that link is very profitable soon.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN RIPPLE SURVIVE? on: January 26, 2021, 10:19:23 PM
Ripple (XRP) has been suffering series of hindrances from regulatory body (The US SEC) since late last year. The attack led to a litigation in a US court leading to panic sales of XRP from majority of their investors. The litigation in the US saw the co-founder of XRP who happens to be the CEO of Stellar XLM sold his XRP. This created more fear among the investors before XRP started to gain the market loss back in January.

Another report came out a week ago that the UK treasury has classified XRP as non-security asset and this is different from the law suit by the US SEC filed against XRP.

Will this mean the XRP might be back to it's position in the Cryptocurrency community soon?
Yes they will if all of the document that sec is finding in them will be given, because of this sec issue the price of xrp is being dump so heavily we all think that xrp will continue to pump last year and it is still on its 3rd spot in the ranking but now the last time I saw it, it goes down to the forth. CEO might sold his share maybe he wants to have fund for the case because it might needed a lot of money for the trial, xrp will survive I believe in that, but the price like last year cannot be achieve this year.
243  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DEPOSITING times on exchnages... on: January 26, 2021, 09:36:48 PM
Who had the fastest deposit times on coin exchanges?

I deposited on one and it takes up to 3 days... This is far from reactive.
If trading on 212 for example deposits are instant, allowing you to take opportunities when they arise... 3 days tho is just a no!

Are they all generally the same?

The exchange in question is Kraken.

3days? Is it too long, I am just waiting for a minute only before I will get my coin in exchange whether it is bitcoin or eth or any coin. Even when you are free referring with bitcoin? and you choose the low or the cheapest amount of fee still it will not take 3days, I wonder if what you are saying is correct. I have no experience using kraken but I had use so many exchanges so I think it will be my reference. Anyway if you are transferring xrp it will take less than 5mins.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano (ADA) coin hit $10 During 2021? on: January 26, 2021, 02:44:37 PM
I am ADA holder and trader but i don't think ADA will hit $10 within 2021 rather i can expect $1.5-$2.00 highest within 2021. ADA and DOT are now both top trend to the crypto lovers. Both deserves top 5 ranks, ADA now on 6th rank in coinmarketcap.
I agree with you, not unless there will be a huge news regarding ADA that will blow the market, but then it's hard to make ADA to 10usd because of it's volume (correct me if I'm wrong but it is 3Billion), set XRP as an example with more than 2Billion in the market it hardly pumps to 1usd, all time high is only 0.7 I think last year and then it lost it's momentum because of some issues. So I think 1$ or 2$ is possible this year but 10? I don't think it will go that far for now.
245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Creating a trading bot on: January 26, 2021, 02:07:52 PM
I am not a software developer but I know some basic things and will understand some basic script. Is there any way that I can use to make a trading bot that will be able to follow my trading strategy? There is some exchange that provides basic trading bot but none of those can do how I want it. And is that will be safe to use these types of tools from and 3rd party site?
I think trading bot are being created for you and other people to set orders ahead of time from others or to sell coins ahead of time to others because sometimes our orders are being congested because we are trading with whales, sometimes we did not get the value we are aiming for. And also, I think it is not safe to use 3rd party bot, they might still your assets instead, I used bot last time in my tradign and instead of making money, I lost 15usd on it on the first 2days.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 25, 2021, 11:51:47 PM
I am very curious about the profile of people who managed to get $ 1 Billion from the lottery, he must have been very surprised to find out
about winning that kind of money. But if the person comes from a lower economic class, afraid to lose control to use the money wisely. Because
according to some cases that occur with lottery winners who come from the lower economic class, will spend most of it on luxury items that may
have no use for the person. I really wish everyone who won the lottery very big, use a financial advisory service to arrange the use of the money.
So that it can be used wisely.

That's a very very big prize he should get one of course,  if i will be the one who will win some in the future i will put that in investment of course then I will spend a minimum amount or small amount to play just for fun, so that I will enjoy some of it. but then, I will not gamble again i think that could be a greediness it should be properly manage so that we will not lose more than we gain. There are few people who win jackpot prize and they are very lucky and  fortunate they should be blessed and be careful to it.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Newegg, ebay crypto like store would be great on: January 25, 2021, 10:54:27 PM
I used to dream about waking up one day and buying stuffs on crypto website stores that are up to ebay standard but unfortunately till this day there is no single crypto project that solves this and make this happened, there have been too many projects that embark on this path but all we saw was the beginning, the end remains unknown.
Maybe that's because of the volatility, they are hardly implementing this system because of the market status. I want to use my cryto as well in online stores but let us think this way, when we pay for that certain amount and then the price crashes the store will have a little short in their money because the value is not yet the same, same to ours we need to pay fee for every transfer, sometimes it takes time before we send it and then in a matter of minute or hrs the fee increases maybe that is the reason.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper money vs Digital currency on: January 25, 2021, 10:19:16 PM
Technology is rapidly changing every day, so in an instant, everybody might be using digital currency over paper money. We all know that it is much convenient to use digital currency than physical money because we don't have to wait for our change and count our coins to pay. But I think there will still be people who will use paper money because digital money is vulnerable to hacking that no technology is perfect when it comes to security.
Yes it will kinda hard to convince people to believe and use the things we are using, yes our technology is fast paced, some countries doesn't even have internet connection, some area in my country still don't know it because they don't have electricity and internet connection although most of the people here are into crypto currency already still we can't convince everyone. Let them be, if they want to learn then teach them if they don't want it's their choice not our responsibility anymore.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for a Billion max supply capped altcoin to reach $100? on: January 25, 2021, 03:51:14 PM
It depends in the use case and roadmap of the project I think. We all know that if a coin has a billion volume it will be hard to go up, as long as the value is too large the lesser value it would have. Law of supply and demand, if the coin has a lot of supply but low demand it will not reach 1usd o even 0.5cents, but then if it is highly hype and has a good reputation people and many whales will buy it regardless of the volume but this is kinda impossible. Coins with lower volume tend to be pump easily of course.
250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to avoid as a beginner in trading Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2021, 03:16:44 PM
Starting out with cash..? Does journaling truly help ?
Yes indeed, start tracking all your transactions in and out. Even though I've been in this industry for a long period of time, still I am doing Journaling there's no wrong with that, I just want to see my progress if I am doing great or getting to much losses it will also keep you motivated and organized. For me it is highly recommended to beginners and also to those people who are not have a high margin like me, but I think even though I will be having a large asset soon, I will still do that.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: January 25, 2021, 02:27:43 PM
I really admire his trait of being hardworking, ambitious man. He is very open in each possibility and new way that's why he is the first tycoon that I admire and the first one who made a giant influence among other. In just a tweet he made a coin pump so very much even that tweet is just a joke it made the market and people went crazy. I really like him because of he is into technology very well, he starts from nothing and now he got everything.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: January 24, 2021, 11:24:24 PM
Currently, if you want to buy any altcoin, it is very difficult. You can't choose an option quite easily. Also, the crypto market is currently volatile. In such circumstances if one wants to buy altcoin. So what should be the main focus?

The main focuses, according to me, should be :
- The project's use case
- The tokenomics (supply, way the token are unleashed ...)
- The community and the holders (have a look at holders wallet on etherscan for example).

We may add a few other things but, if all is ok in the previsous list, then i could start to 'think' to invest  Wink

My 2 cents
These are the things that we should consider and we should learn to learn before anything else so that this can be use in the future when we are about to wait for a coin to pump, so all people should not be carried away just because of the hype they will buy the coin, it is not good and quiet impulsive to buy coin without researching for it. Project plan should be consider in order for us to determine if the altcoin is goona have a good potential in the market or not.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex delisting XMR, DASH and ZEC. Will this affect Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2021, 10:19:47 PM

Bittrex is going down anyways, used to be good exchange long time ago but not anymore,
privacy is one of the fundamentals of crypto vs fiat so exchanges should support that

I've tried to find their comments about the delisting and haven't found it, they don't even explain why they do it. Ultimately, all exchanges will refuse (
Maybe you should use search engine if you don't get answer in this thread, I think the reason why exchanges delisting other coins is either the trade volume in each coin is getting lower and lower each day, so normally if the coin is not yet active or having few traders it is normal that exchanges delisting it, also add the fact that some coins now are being sued or having allegations by SEC, we should know that when this thing came up it really affects the position and image of the coin.
254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you develop stronger hands? on: January 24, 2021, 09:36:22 PM
You should learn how to make a trading plan, so that you can manage any losses that might come in your way, it is pretty normal to be confuse on what we should do at first because we're just starting to trade, but eventually when you already know how to read chart, patterns and trend line slow by slow you will be able to develop strong hands, well of course you will develop it because of confidence so trading plan is needed as well.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 24, 2021, 03:17:45 PM
The answer is yes, of course. I've seen a lot of people who become rich because they do trading after they retire from their work they focus in trading, some of them make trading as their way of living, but keep in mind that this might get you rekt as well, you can win and you may lose as well, you just need to be prepared so whatever may happens even though you lose some it would not make you fall into deficit and would not make you poor.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 24, 2021, 02:19:23 PM
This is the 2nd big win i saw recently which is quite amazing. Recently Toronto women win jackpot lottery. Its seems many people are winning lottery and jackpots as 2021 looks lucky for the gamblers and risk takers.
It also makes me thing that more people believe in luck, don't get me wrong okay I just think that people want to earn more so more and more people might bought different combination in their tickets so that they will be having a more chances to win a game, it's kinda profitable to those owns that lottery but govt is much happier since tax will be implemented unless it would be a tax free game.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I lost all tokens deposited in exchange on: January 23, 2021, 11:47:03 PM
Is there anyone here using Idex in trading?
I kept a lot of tokens in this exchange. There happens to be this migration from idex market to idex1.0.
When I check my account, it has zero balance. Anyone here had experience the same, Is there a way to retieve?
For better advice I think you should send an email to the website immediately before it totally disappear, I lost eth as well last time I don't know if I lost it in the idex itself or using Imtolek application in android, but then I failed to contact support so I really lost it, so before this thing happen to you don't waste your time searching for other user to get their  insight about this, you should reach them now, provide all the details and proof if ever possible.
258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: January 23, 2021, 11:11:07 PM

Things are going back to March 13, 2020, the second day of the 312 crash. I personally watched Bitcoin fall to 3,800 U.S. dollars, which is a few hundred U.S. dollars per second. I was shocked, because in my trading history , I’ve never seen the btc so low before, not to mention that there are only two months left before the 512 reduction
It depends on what I am investing with, in futures trading I grow my money from 30$ to 150$, I just follow the trend and make things possible even though the market is having a dip sometimes still in futures I am having a gain because of the pair that I am currently playing with, in terms of spot, I'm still waiting for the right time to sell my bitcoin in USDT pair so that I don't be hurt so much because of the high fees these days.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let`s say bitcoin replaces fiat. What happens? on: January 23, 2021, 10:03:23 PM
Agreed. Bitcoin is store of value. It will replace gold not fiat in future. Soon we will see digital version of all national currencies. China has already developed it didgiat yuan.
People will no longer use BTC for buying or selling, they will use as storage of value just like people do with gold.
I agree, not matter what country it will adapt it whether it is bitcoin or other crypto made by them still still the use, purposes, and the senses of fiat cannot be replace by bitcoin, fiat is very much in need in each country it cannot be replace by anything, and not all part of the country can use crypto in their daily lives there will be still a limitation in every thing. So country  can adapt bitcoin and other crypto to their monetary system but will not replace it.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else still regret not buying Bitcoin in 2011? on: January 23, 2021, 09:04:13 PM
What I regret now is I did not buy when the price is very low, I started to use bitcoin when the price is almost $500 only, that is wayback 2017, in that time bitcoin is easily to get in some faucets for free, I hope I look for more in my future that time so that i will be having some money now and stated to put my investment into different forms. But then, I would make it as a lesson that I will keep in mind for years so I could grow as a person.
