Edgeless to be featured in Blockchain Superstars TV series
https://www.edgeless.io/blog/edgeless-to-be-featured-in-blockchain-superstars-tv-series

That's some great exposure for Edgeless, Fox Business News, Bloomberg TV etc, not the smallest names to be featured on!

Just invested in Edgeless after I saw the news. But the funny thing is that the price continued to drop amidst the great news. Does any1 know y? Shouldnt there be a pump instead.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Hitbtc unrealistic deposit and withdrawal fees on: February 10, 2018, 12:50:42 PM
Hitbtc's deposit and withdrawal fees are absolutely ridiculous. For example, ETBS which I want to trade on HITBTC, it costs 30+ ETBS just for the deposit fee. Its equivalent to $60USD+. It is hindering the growth of token's prices. What should I do if the token of mine is only listed on Hitbtc and coinexchange(0 trading volume)? Etherdelta is the last option but no one really uses it.
3  Other / Meta / Re: How do I get merit and trust? on: February 07, 2018, 10:35:38 PM
Even with quality posts doesn't mean you'll get merit hah
Interesting stuff, but not easy. I'll probably be stuck at Member for a few months  Grin
Now almost all members problems is that they already reach thier complete activity but cannot rank up because thier merit is not enough. Even you posted constructive and high quality post but they dont like to give you merit theres nothing you can do

Because of this issue, newly joined members cannot rank up, join signature campaign and receive the stakes that they deserved according to their true rank. Here is my 3 cents worth, the bitcointalk mods should introduce merit for Members and above as most of the signature campaign is for Jn Member and above while the remaining minority accepts only Member and above.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Introducing the Korea virtual currency, "starcro" on: February 07, 2018, 10:24:23 PM

Korea virtual currency "starcro"

STARCRO & PoX
STARCRO is a freely available block-chain platform service that anyone can use in anywhere at any time with any type of device and network. It has maximized the efficiency of mining and it provides a practical platform through STARCRO cards issuance, self-currency exchange, and wallet service.

PoX (Proof of eXpansion)
STARCRO creates a super-connected society where people and systems are all connected. Rather than redistributing wealth, our company will democratically create wealth and provide fair and even-handed compensation to our participants.

PoX, an independent consensus algorithm used by the STARCRO platform, is an extension or relationship proof. PoX has a multiplex structure consisting of maximum of 12 linkers from different stages including myself. Individual referral hyperlink and referral code(ID) are given to individual.

By spreading these hyperlinks and codes throughout the network, one can receive compensation based on the number and participation of the provers. In addition, one can receive additional interest on the XSC the person owns.

STARCRO Prover(SP)
STARCRO uses an independent protocol called PoX. In addition, STARCRO PROVER (SP) who are participating in PoX is entitled to use all kinds of service including communication, finance, social media, etc. Connect more provers through introduction hyperlinks and referral codes.

It is going to be listed soon. If you join now, I will give 1XSC.
Sign Up Now -------> http://www.starcro.com/main.html?refcode=geer2541
please referral`s username geer2541

This project sounds very fish tbh. How could proof of Expansion generate any revenue for Starcro's participants? The money is generated out of thin air. If it sounds too good to be true, it might turned out to be a scam. Correct me if I am wrong.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitjob (the coin that will make your dreams come true) on: February 07, 2018, 10:11:35 PM
After doing some dumpster diving on Coinmarketcap during this last alt-coin rally, I think I may have found a great investment opportunity.

It's called bitJob (STU token). BitJob's goal is to create a student economy centered around college campuses worldwide. It consists of a jobs market place connecting college students and employers from around the world to accomplish part-time jobs while giving students the opportunity to gain job experience in their fields of study, rather than having to work jobs that are useless to their potential future careers (bar tending, waiting tables, etc). Students are paid in STU tokens (or PayPal) and their resumes are stored on the blockchain where their employers can rate them on various aspects of their work. This is a great opportunity for students to have a verifiable resume to show potential employers.

In addition to the jobs marketplace, the most exciting aspect of the project is the student based economy. The team is working with many universities around the world to integrate STU tokens in their student unions and even at businesses around campuses. Students will be able to spend their STU tokens on books, supplies, and entertainment around campus. Half of the 200 million STU tokens are being held to provide incentives over the next 6 years for colleges and businesses to become a part of the bitJob ecosystem. The current market cap is very small at $2.7 million. There are currently 48 million STU tokens in circulation at a price of $0.056.

The potential market is huge, and while there are no direct competitors in this space. The US company Chegg who caters exclusively to students (textbook rentals and online homework help) has a market cap of $1.82 billion

The team is mostly from Israel and fairly large, consisting of people with work experience for many major tech companies. Their team of advisors includes the director of finance at UCLA, lead security architect from Ripple (formerly HSBC), and program leader of Blockchain projects for the Dutch government.

I spent a good bit of time researching this project and really believe it could take off. It solves a real problem and has a great team that could deliver on their goals. They've been working on this project for years now and have already met many of their objectives. They are fairly active on social media, although their following could be better.

They're currently rebranding with a new website coming in the next couple of weeks. They'll be listed on 2 more exchanges in the next month. And their test net and pilot program will be launching this quarter. Their most recent Medium post also mentions more partnerships that they are in the process of finalizing, including a major accounting firm.

Posted below are links to Coinmarketcap, their medium posts, an ICO review by Crypto Trader, and a presentation the team gave to the Dutch government. Let me know what you think!

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite way to cash out? on: February 07, 2018, 02:11:14 PM
I live in Asia. In my country, the only few ways to withdraw to cash is through localbitcoins or OTC Exchange. The other options all requires identity verification due to KYC and AML laws. Recent bills passed also make it harder for the crypto exchanges based in my country to open bank accounts. I cant say much as I only withdraw to cash twice. Once through uquid Atm cash withdrawal and another time through localbitcoin.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coin for you on: February 07, 2018, 11:11:32 AM
For me, I would recommend ETBS, Bitjob and ATS.

List:
1) ETBS (iTrade - first copy trading patform, beta due in March, low fees, supports p2p trading of cryptocurrency, profit sharing of fees every quarter to ETBS holder, very low total supply of 1.6m)
2) Bitjob( Something like Fiverr but completely decentralized and using the blockchain, enables students to bid for freelance work and earn some allowance, easy conversion of STU to USD, supported by Dutch Government)
3) Authorship(Authors have the ease to get their books published, publishers can easily locate authors who want to get their books published, translators can find popular books and translate them into different languages, and readers can access and buy a plethora of literary treasures – all at the same place)
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the opposite of FUD? on: February 07, 2018, 10:31:41 AM
The opposite would be confidence, certainty and trust. In short, C2T. To the moon~ I am just wishing that the market will rise by next week, looking to cash out for my trip:/
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the right time to buy this coins on: February 06, 2018, 10:58:09 PM
After draining the bitconnect, I no longer trust credit coins. Playing with them, there is a very big risk of losing everything. Choose something else, the market has a lot of good coins.

As what Kryptpnitka have posted, it is true. The way these lending coins works is the same as ponzi schemes. When there are enough people to sustain to pay off the initial investors, the scheme would work but it is a bubble that can pops easily. If majority of users were to withdraw all their token together at the same time , it would crash to rock bottom.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will under 5000 within this month do you think so on: February 06, 2018, 10:41:31 PM
IMO Bitcoin will rise back to 9k in 2 weeks time and start to stabilise there. A significant resistance would be at 9.2k+. If it manages to build buy support slowly, it can rise back to 10k. 20k is a far target to reach at the current rate.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signals on: February 06, 2018, 10:24:52 PM
Most or if not all trading signals group on telegram are a scam. The admins would release trading signals and greedy people would clear the sell order books of that particular token or coin.At the end of the day, the admin profits by offloading worthless token to you in exchange for a handsome sum of money. Personally, I lost about $200USD  worth of BTC from participating it. Reviews and general sentiment can be bought and influenced respectively.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can BitConnect recover? on: February 06, 2018, 01:11:37 PM
People knew, and people were warned of it. Yet, people went like a heard of sheep for unnatural promised profit.
Bitconnect was a ponzi and took all funds when they knew they would be able keep the play going.
They'll never be back and it would be a success if the team be brought to court.

To put it bluntly, it was impossible for them to generate a 1.3%+ daily interest. Simply unrealistic. If it could generate so much revenue by pooling everyone's investments and using Bitconnect's bot to trade in crypto, everyone would be millionaires. The bots would make the Bitconnect's dev and their future generations so rich that they would never have to work a single day again.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn bitcoin on: February 06, 2018, 11:58:24 AM
hi guixe i need ur help . how to earn bitcoin guixe ? pls reply

The amount of Bitcoin is miniscule compared to what u can earn from your full time job. Highest amount that I have ever earned from a bounty program is $2k but it took quite some time and some luck. Not every project will turn out to be successful. So,  you might waste time on a bounty campaign with potentially very little to no returns. Do your own homework before joining.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to follow each bounties/airdrop? on: February 06, 2018, 10:58:30 AM
Hi guys I want follow all bounties/airdrop but normally is impossible.
Any suggestion? bot service ?
thank you

You shouldn't. Few bounties/airdrop only allow you be in one of them and not all. So chose the most profit one and be in it, not be in all of them.

Like what Tomohisha said, don't waste your time on following each and every airdrops/bounty.  Just focus on the best airdrops and bounty as most of them are bullshit and scams. Heck,  u can earn more even if u r working as a cashier at Mcdonalds.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will this drop in prices of BTC and ETH affect ICOs on: February 06, 2018, 10:51:08 AM
I think the most direct way it is affecting ICO is in turning new investors off in investing in cryptocurency. Experienced crypto traders might also be afraid of investing more money into ICO because of this blood bath. Crypto millionaires might also be tempted to convert their crypto holding into fiat which is way safer than crypto in the morning.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Green day on: February 05, 2018, 12:14:14 PM
All the altcoins have been rising way too fast in January and there were not any true support levels for them. It was due for a price correction. But I think that the price correction have almost finished and it would rise back in the weeks to come. Most likely, Chinese players are selling their alts and BTC for cash to use them during Chinese New Year. After CNY, prices would pick up again when the Chinese returns to the game. So what if China uses the great Firewall to block Crypto related websites. There is something called a VPN.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SOCC]: SocialCoin *** FORK COMPLETE *** on: February 05, 2018, 09:56:28 AM
This coin needs to create more awareness as many people have never heard about SOCC before.I suggest that the dev create a bounty campaign for people to promote SOCC. Next, a telegram group and facebook group should be created.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Champaign on: February 04, 2018, 10:24:03 PM
After the bounty campaign has ended, the bounty manager will calculate the total number of stakes for each participants and compute the number of tokens(usually ERC 20) they will receive. Thereafter, they will take a few days to a month to distribute the tokens. Always check the terms and conditions before joining the bounty campaign.

General rule of thumb is that bounty will get it last and ICO investors would be the first to receive.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know that new/existing ICO is not a scam? on: February 01, 2018, 02:22:30 PM
As we know, currently they are many developer trying to do ICOs and some of them scam other people too. So how to identify these kinds of scams?

It's really difficult to know whether the ICOs are scam or not and based on my experiences I joined a lot of signature bounty campaigns that are actually scams and trying to get money from young investors and innocent people.
You can't usually rely on their website, their team and staff, their project and their white papers because everything can be fake in internet.
For me telegram channel will tell you a lot of stories because the number of people or members of their Telegram will likely enough to be true or not.
But, in the end of the day we couldn't tell the difference between scam and legitimate.

Well said. As what Bastime has pointed out, everything can be fake. One might ask why should I do my homework if everything could be faked. At least doing ur homework reduces the chance of one investing in a scam ICO. Statistics. Simply invest wat u can lose and pray that it is not a scam.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN][PoSToken]First PoS Smart Contract Token[Lending Platform Available] on: January 28, 2018, 02:55:48 PM
I cant find any information regarding the lending platform for POS tokens? Can someone shed some light on how it works? How could the devs give us 1.3%+ interest daily when it is impossible for the trading bots to make so much $ in the crypto market? However, this lending platform sounds enticing but extremely risky at the same time.
