Looking from the movement of bitcoincash that it stays green even though Bitcoin price is dropping, there is possibility that it could catch Bitcoin.
But I don't really sure how long will it take for bitcoincash to reach the level of bitcoin.

To be honest, i still kept many of my coins in my wallet, waiting for the market to recover. Since i don't want to sell them right now when the price of the coin is this bad. So in this beginning of 2019, i hope the condition will get even better than it was last year.

Good news for every ethereum holder if the news were really happen. But i hope it will really happen, to fix the market condition into a better shape than it was few month back where all the cyptocurrency are dropping.

After careful research, when you see a good ICO, you would know and there will be no doubt about it.
I have noticed that good ICOs also dump after listing, competing with crap ones that have no definite direction, but to cart away funds.
There are ways in which they can be protected and prevent unreasonable dump in price. Some of which are:
1. They should be managed by credible and trusted managers, managers that already have good reputation on the forum, else the trust might not be there.
2. KYC should be made mandatory for all bounty and airdrop participants in order to avoid multiple accounts. The kyc should be announced
3. Participants should be made to complete the remaining process of their registrations on the project's website, where IP can be detected. Multiple accounts can also be prevented this way.
4. Listing should be done on reliable and reputable exchange sites.
5. There should be regular and prompt communication with the community.
6. Projects should maintain and comply to their roadmaps and if there is amendment, the community should be made to know, with concrete reasons.
Additional suggestion:
7. An approach that will create the demand for tokens, which can as well prevent dump, is the lockup of certain percentage of the tokens.
Some percentage of the tokens belonging to; the team, advisors, investors, promoters and bounty participants.
The main tokens for the investors should be released, at least to compensate them for the money invested, but their bonuses should be locked for certain period of time. Which is followed by their gradual release.
These are just few among so many other solutions, but if this few are integrated into the system, i believe dump can be minimized if not totally eliminated.
I agree with your idea on protecting any good project, it will be able to makes the crypto market better. but what hard would be the people, we can't really control them, cause usually who makes the market drop is because some people dropping the price of the coins because the sell them out of panic or just try to sell them ASAP without thinking about profit or anything. |

If we look backward on the stellar coins few months back, we can see that there is still a big space available for stellar to rise again just like when it reach a good value on it.

I think you were wrong, even though the price of ripple is dropping few moments ago, but today the crypto market for ripple is still trying to increase even if it's just a little by little.

a few days ago hot news / updates about ethereum made me and maybe a lot excited, and ETH prices rose markedly after the next day, it kinda showed a little backward or as I thought. Now ETH prices continue to fall! What caused this? Am I missing something?
That is the usual way of cryptocurrency market, usually it caused by some bad news that are spreading around making any coin holder feeling worried and then sell them and makes the demand on the coin reduced, that way the price will also decreased. |

This holds hunters a great responsibility in fighting scam project
So I advise any hunters to read well about the project before participating in it campaign.

So much agree with what you said. we all need too keep a close eyes and check a project carefully and also make sure that all of the information provided by the project is correct. That way would be able to ensure that we could avoid in joining into a scam project. |

You can no longer utilize or do anything about those fake coins, all you can do is just let it be or you could sent them to someone else and forget about it.
But it would be better if you just let it be, cause sending it to another wallet will takes our fee.

Hi everyone, I just want to tell everyone about the new scheme of the scammer to scam. especially those people who really doesn't understand much about centralized and decentralized trading platform. I have read several people posting about arbitrage coins like for example MTV arbitrage Please check this link as an example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5050943upon checking what they the link that they are using, you can see that they are pointing you to Forkdelta. when you check the trading on https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0xcd53c76b8a350b7f9815d6ddc4617bf37c7288ff-ETH you will see a token named MTV (Multiversum). The scammer wanted you to think that this token is the same token found on IDEX. Because there is really a Multiversum on IDEX. But if you analyze very carefully the MTV on forkdelta doesn't match in IDEX because of 2 factors. 1.) they have a different smart contract. on forkdelta (0xcd53c76b8a350b7f9815d6ddc4617bf37c7288ff) , on IDEX (0x07a7ed332c595b53a317afcee50733af571475e7) 2.) The have Different token extension. Forkdelta (MTV) , IDEX (eMTV) I hope that this short analysis will help others to avoid this kind of scam. make your analysis first before trying to buy or invest on a token. Analyzing something before doing is the most important part for us to be safe in crypto world, especially today where there are so many scam coins/project that keep on popping. Just like what you mentioned, i also had aver met the same coins code in different market but it also has different contract address. |

I think the prospect of cryptocurrency is very good. Now the investment in cryptocurrency must be profitable, but there are thousands of altcoin on the market, and there will be more in the future. At present, many are scams, and the value will be zero.
I want to know what value investing tools can determine which coins are worth investing and which will become the next generation of Bitcoin or Ethereum.
What i know is that there is no such things as tool to find a good coins that are created. What we can do to choose a good project would be our self to check on a coins thoroughly and deeply so we could find good coins to invest on. |

All the cause of dropping in the price of ethereum, is mostly because of the many negative news about ethereum and also many people that keep on saying ethereum will die or fall etc.
Thus making many people who hold ethereum to get worried and then they sell their ethereum in a low price, and the next people will sell it in even lower price, making the price to fall freely.

The current situation has caused me to hold huge sum of money that I intended putting into btc and altcoins. I know once btc jump, altcoins does same.
So the question is can anyone predict the price of btc for the next month? To enable me invest...
I believe predicting what will happen next in cryptocurrency is a really hard task to do, even for any senior analyst. event though it still possible to predict, but perhaps the accuracy of the prediction can't be fully hoped. |

I do get some coin reward from bounty campaign, but perhaps it a bit sad cause the price is still so low that i can't sell them directly.
I really hope the condition will be better soon, so i could sell those coins.

I think that could be correct if you already able to gain from cryptocurrency as much as what you've gain from regular job. That would be the minimum amount for that.

If no one have our private key, then everything will done. no one will be able to access that fund, and it will stay in our wallet for ever. I think that could be a bit disappointing to have that only possibilities.

I think the most frustrating things about cryptocurrency would be the fluctuation, everything is un-predictable.
Event the price of any altcoin can changed at any seconds and the change can be drastic.

I personally don't really know how to make 100% sure about scammer project, all i can do is preventing myself to get bumped into any scam project, by checking any related information about a project as detailed as possible always making sure about the validity of the data we got.
