2  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] GAW (Not Zen) HOSTED Scrypt Miners on: September 16, 2014, 07:31:16 PM
I bought one of the first "the fury hosted" 1.3mhz.

the sweet thing about this, was that i bought is while they was supposed to deduct "3% of the hosting power to coffer fees" so you don't pay anything in monthly fees.

so it's in Principe 1.3mhz of free hosted scrypt power.

send PM if interested =)

bought for 150$ before the big pricedump :/
3  Bitcoin / Group buys / Antminer S3 [Minishares] on: July 20, 2014, 10:52:01 AM
Antminer S3 Groupbuy

Simple and easy, this is a groupbuy for Antminer S3
It's ment for small investors, so everyone get a chanse to get into the bitcoin marked.

https://bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020140704023505485N5SxDMkW0693
Link to the product from the manufactors shop.
--------------------------
HOW IT WORKS
Gawminers.com offer to sell Hosted Antminers S3, the miner itself 599$ and hosting for 34.95$ a month.
The miners will be live from 8/1/2014

*Terms
The miner will be splittet into 200 shares, each share on the cost of 0.005 btc.
1 share = 2.39 ghz

Payment will be done each Sunday to keep fees as low as possible, the hosting fee will be deducted from the mining income once each month.
*Namecoins, devcoins and ixcoin will be sold for BTC and added in the payment.

*Other information
If we reach the point that the miners hosting fee get to great to give us some profit so will the miners be sold, and profit will be split between the share holders, after that the service will be “fulfilled”.
This will off course be taken to a vote if it comes to that.
Just a formality, if get to a vote if the miner should be sold so will there be 200 votes, 1 vote = 1 share.
As long as there is interest so if the shares are sold out, I will begin a new buy's for more miners.

*Pool?
I would go for cex couse of the size and that they have Namecoin, Ixcoin, and Devcoin merged., but other pools could be sugested by the shareholders.

*My conditions
I take 2 % mannagement fee, and I get to keep the points gained from gawminers.com shop.

Every investment will be made public in this thread =)

So any interests for this?

In that case write here, or shoot me a PM =)

Hope this will boost some life into Yac again

Wow!  This is awesome!

I'm not sure if the 'faucet' is working.  It says 'Sorry, your balance must be 0 to claim the Yacoin bonus.' when I enter the catcha.

Is there an option for players to 'invest in the house' to help increase the max bets?  I'd be interesting in this. Smiley

The Faucet is only giving out if your ballance is exact 0, this is to prevent someone screwing with the bankroll.
For now so is there not any invest opportunity, since i don't want to be hold accountable for others non "play funds" until i know for sure that the script is safe ^^

The bankroll is 6600Yac, so it's a start hehe

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DBL] Doubloons: Pirate Currency on: June 23, 2014, 03:26:32 AM
Once people can deposit DBL's again the market will be flooded, crash and burn, bye bye doubloons.

What makes you think so really?

Miners have been mining for 2 months now without selling. People that wanted to sell into the pump couldn't so they will still want to make a profit if possible. I'm out  Cheesy

Well, i just hope people start withdrawing coins soon, starting to get around 3k in hot wallet, and 16k in cold wallet reserved for Miners.

surprised anyone can actually even move dbl around, pretty much a dead coin.

Yeah, the windows client is broken, not even on the same blockchain as the github version.
So to move the coins you need to install the linux version

11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer s1 power supply help needed! on: June 10, 2014, 07:29:42 PM
Everyone thanks for all the help, and all the serius suggestions it have been helpfull!

i powered up the miner, and the PSU did not work with both blades, however i got one working blade just using the 6pin. so this will be the solution until i recieve the new PSU i have ordered, and i will use this one for a little test server =)
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer s1 power supply help needed! on: June 10, 2014, 06:12:34 PM
The 8 pin is slotted, so just use 6 of them.  It should fit in the Ant's 6 pin connector.

Thank, but on the 6pin so is the black wires on the clip side, and on the 8pin so is the yellow wires on the clipside, wound that make magical grey smoke?
13  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer s1 power supply help needed! on: June 10, 2014, 06:03:03 PM
you need 500w single rail.

Try it, if the miner under performs or don't start, it does not work.

Oki, but can i use 8pin to something?
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer s1 power supply help needed! on: June 10, 2014, 05:58:21 PM
Thank you for responding, i can't return it that is why i got it so cheap.

so you think i can use it? i never intended to overclock it ^^

Well, i read some about Doubloons, and seems like there is allot of problem, and more than one blockchain. and you can't deposit to cryptsy.

i had leftover server, so i tried setting up a pool http://dbl.btcfarming.com

I used the source from Github, i have not goten any orphands, and look like i am synqed with the offical explorer. but until cryptsy open for deposit again, so i am not sure if i am on the right chain.

I even offered the new Dev a bounty for getting it fixed but he never responded.

go figgur...

Well, let's hope the dev will be active again, i have som dbl's, so i don't want them to be totaly worthless :0
