481  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to 5,000 $/btc ? on: June 29, 2017, 03:18:06 AM
Segwit pump could lead the price to $5000. The hype will be real within one month.

I hope so it'll be in one month but I'm still having doubts on that time frame. Seems like it could lead to the price of $5000 probably by end of this year, but we'll never know it could be after August 1 too.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO 19 JULY] AVENTUS - ANTIFRAUD ANTI-SCALPING EVENT TICKETING ON ETHEREUM on: June 27, 2017, 03:34:02 PM
hello sir , 1 post in ann thread for bounty sigcamp
in this thread or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1955231.160 ?

I think he stated in the first page to post 2 in this new ANN Thread, but probably the rules are still the same which is still 50 posts until the end of ICO.

I think this is the main Aventus thread as stated in the OP, so we should put our posts here more often to keep this thread going..imho Smiley

You're correct! Anyways, I hope to hear new updates from this thread so it keeps going and we could see the development of the signature campaign too.

I personally agree with you since there are also participants and people who are confused and still have a doubt about this project and recently because of the sudden changes of new thread which gives the other participants a lot of confusion. Anyway I'll be keeping an eye for updates through this thread.

Hey, sorry for the changes in the details and thread, we were just trying to make you guys a more detailed one with the bounties and ICO details in the same place. Hope there are no doubts with the project, as we are here to answer your questions and concerns whenever. Smiley

Still waiting for new updates with this signature campaign as ICO will be starting soon and yup I agree with evilgreed about people having doubts but no worries, we are here to support you all the way.

Why do not you create one thread?
So we can discuss with the crowds

Hey, discuss here please. There is another thread as well but this one is meant to have more detail!

So to make this clear, this will be the newly made ANN Thread where everyone who joined the signature campaign will be posting here instead of the first one right? Just making it sure, so it won't confuse us. Thanks!
484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading safely on: June 26, 2017, 06:23:17 AM
Over the years I am convinced that no amount of technical analysis will predict bitcoin price movement. It is erratic and hard to predict. The most effective is following news and speculating from there. It would be nice if that group have access to relevant news at the earliest time possible.

I must agree on this, bitcoins price is constantly fluctuating and so hard to predict. The best possible way to speculate its price if its going up or down is through the news.
485  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at an all time high on: June 25, 2017, 05:05:30 PM
Let's get serious with this that the dips will not be those intense, the way they had been before!
I think that Bitcoins are now gaining some real values because investors are into it taking it more as a global currency than just a way to make more money over their investments.

I agree, and I do hope the dips won't be the same as before. It actually is scary though it will increase back again, but still it was crazy. Maybe it won't be the same as before because a lot of people treat bitcoin now as a great value and asset.
486  Other / Meta / Re: What is the difference between Actions and Activities in this forum? on: June 24, 2017, 06:36:35 AM
The ratio of the posts and actions are not the same, your posts are for everything you comment in this forum while the activities are once everyday then after two weeks it'll add on your profile.
487  Other / Meta / Re: How to increase rank? on: June 23, 2017, 02:43:14 PM
This has been asked a gazillion times, please try to find time searching how and what to do at the Beginners & Help section before creating your own post. I'm pretty sure you were brought in this forum for a reason so I guess newbies should find time and read about the guidelines and the like once creating a new account. You can actually google the question too and get your answers there.
488  Economy / Speculation / Re: fluctuating btc price on: June 23, 2017, 02:23:41 PM
any announcements in the next days that might bring bitcoin price up/down significantly?
There might be some hype/drama/fud on august, when segwit2x is supposed to get activated. If there will be hardfork at that time, we might see some big red on bitcoin and overall crypto price. But I am optimistic about segwit2x activation, if it works like supposed than we might see a good pump rather than a dump.

Yes, like I'm so tired reading this drama on august 01, why not lets be patient about these things and trust segwit2x.
Just be positive about this. Volatility is always around the corner so much better set aside our speculations.
Yeah, august 1 has been hyped big. None is sure about the reality, and users too haven't realized this to be an speculative approach to the market. With segwit2x itself everything good happens causing a positive impact on the bitcoin's market.

True, August 1 has been hyped already and we also don't know the impact it'll make after what happens on that date. In fact I've read an article stating India also joined in so I'm pretty sure in a few days or probably over the weekend bitcoins price will try to pump up but that's just my speculation though, no basis yet based on its charts currently.

I'm confused, should we be posting here too and the other thread or this is the new ICO ANN Thread and we should be getting new updates here and post here from now on and also do we need to submit another registration for the signature campaign? But I was surprised of this new ANN Thread though, it's very informative for those new comers who are interested in this campaign and am looking forward for the success of this campaign too.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [STRATIS] Should I invest on: June 21, 2017, 10:34:34 AM
Stratis is actually a good coin to invest, in fact it's progression is actually remarkable the past few months when it pumped but though it is currently stagnant as of now I'm sure it'll pump back again soon.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Aventus - Event Ticketing Antifraud Solution on: June 21, 2017, 10:10:51 AM
Can we invest in this ico via shapeshift.io or 3rd party payment solutions like this? or just with ether wallet

Hi there. Just Ether is what we will be going with.

So by Ether does that mean any ether wallet like the myetherwallet site? Was curious on this too, because a friend of mine asked if she could invest in this ICO.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: crypto correction over on: June 17, 2017, 04:50:26 PM
I don't think it is over but it has just started. I hope you are not getting your hopes up high though, you might get disappointed the next few days or so because you thought it is already over.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predict the date for the 'Flippening' - on: June 17, 2017, 04:23:32 PM
Even though ETH might surpass bitcoin's marketcap, it can't be valued more than bitcoin any anytime soon. ETH total supply is really high compared to BTC and it also have non zero inflation. Also we know every person in ETH foundation who hold millions of ETH in the name of development, so there will be always risk of sudden dump.

Yep I totally agree with you and everything I wanted to say you said it, anyways I will answer the OP's question regarding the flippening. My prediction would be end of next week, no exact date but that's just my speculation.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrenices not a good investment? on: June 16, 2017, 08:08:45 PM
There are some cryptocurrencies that are a good investment but not all of them, if you want to invest on cryptocurrencies which I think you know is very risky you have to know and learn about those currencies if they have good and progressive projects so you would know your investment is in good hands if you intend to keep them for long. Just remember, don't risk something you can't afford to loose.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Beginner Learning Resources on: June 16, 2017, 04:25:08 PM
This site is actually a good start if you want to learn more about bitcoins and altcoins, but for trading or alternate coins you have to do your own digging and research about what specific coins you are eyeing for. I actually learned some from here then went to the coinmarketcap website and searched for the top 20 coins when I first started trading a few months back, one by one I actually did my own research on those coins and see if they have future possibilities and so on and so forth.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best coin for short term gains ? (Wednesday June 14) on: June 15, 2017, 06:56:59 AM
So which coin did you invest in? And by short term, how long are you trying to do trading with these coins? My bet coin would be something related or in line with Ethereum like waves for instance (not really sure though if its tagged as a coin or token).
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are good profits? on: June 15, 2017, 05:56:32 AM
Bitcoin is actually dumping as we speak so it is a good time to buy it as of now, for other coins meaning the alternative coins you just have to do your own research about thosee coins first before jumping into trading or whatever because you said so yourself, you are a newbie to this. Educate yourself first and get to know more about bitcoins and those alternative coins so when you invest in them you don't have to rely on what other people will say about it.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Retirement fund on: June 14, 2017, 03:58:38 PM
I think the very best coin to invest for long term would be Bitcoin. But if you really don't trust bitcoin that much and would choose and alternative coin instead of bitcoin itself my bet would be Nem.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It cost me $2 + 12 hours to send $25 in BTC now on: June 14, 2017, 09:43:18 AM
Still no one on the dev team considers this an issue?

I have sent multiple $20 transactions all with high fee ALONG WITH high confirm times..

Blockchain.info now has 2 different fee modes to send, both of which are high.

Ethereum will take over Bitcoin if this keeps up.

So sad that the dev team are not doing anything about it. It has been an issue for the high price for every transactions we make. And we'll never know too, if and if Ethereum will take over Bitcoin and will become over populated do you think this issue won't happen all over again?

I agree, there is a huge possibilty it would happen to Ethereum too. With the numbers increasing everyday, people transferring from Bitcoin to Ethereum I'm sure it would also clog up the transactions if a lot of people will be using Ethereum instead of Bitcoin. And the fees of Ethereum are not that cheap as far as what I've encountered.
