2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World Without Bitcoin on: May 05, 2021, 08:51:43 PM
Have you ever thought what would the world be without Bitcoin? Imagine if the cryptocurrency was never invented and we'd still be living with Fiat (paper money and credit/debit cards). People would be subject to banks' desires without a chance for freedom. A cashless society would be only a dream, without innovations in the FinTech space. Gold would still be an option, but not everyone will be able to access it. The unbanked people will be forced to deal with banks in order to participate in the mainstream economy. A lot of challenges and hurdles would arise without a decentralized form of currency for the enjoyment of all.

What do you think the world will be today without Bitcoin? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

Sooner or later, an alternative system to paper money would be invented. If there were no Bitcoin there would be another option.

The fact is, dependence on paper money and the financial system is terrible. Bitcoin will never be considered an official payment system.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Your Bitcoin Wallet Be Hacked? How Can You Secure It? on: May 05, 2021, 08:43:22 PM
There are many people in 2021 that have decided Bitcoin is the future - and they aren't wrong either!

One question a lot of people are asking is whether your Bitcoin wallet can be hacked or not - well, can it? And is there a way to secure these funds?

There is always risk where the money is. Do you think banks are safe? The same is true for an investment in Bitcoin. You have to be careful at every step.

For me, these are the 2 best ways to secure. Hardware wallet and paper wallet. Personally, I've been using a hardware wallet for a long time and haven't had a problem yet. I recommend ...

Money ... it is also money and it is considerable Smiley. It does not surprise me. Soon, a very large number of services will allow you to pay with bitcoin. This is good news for us because we will not lose money on sales Smiley.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the largest financial service in the world.😂 on: April 17, 2021, 05:53:49 PM
Bitcoin is the largest financially independently ( a bitconnect joke) have beaten all of the major financial systems in the world bigger than PayPal, VISA, MasterCard and EVERY bank in the world.

27k here we go

Are you surprised? This was to be expected. Therefore, BTC is under attack from all sides. It is a system independent, so inconvenient ... Unfortunately, it will not end ...
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have $150,000 US dollars and my target is a 10x gain. Stop me going all in now on: April 17, 2021, 05:51:11 PM
Hi there,

First, a little about me.  I am a first-time investor to crypto.  However, I have had a few stocks (Roth IRA stuff) and tech stocks and overall have made the average 8% return over about 8 years.  I now have 150,000 to scrape together.

Principles:  I have a high risk profile.  I am patient up to 10 years.  I could buy and hold.  I do believe this 2021 is a once in a lifetime year.  The gains next cycle will be much less in 4 years.
I do believe that earlier is always better.  Did I say I have a high risk profile?

I have a few specific questions and I know it's just your opinions.

1.  Starting today on April 10, 2021 if I invested 150k in bitcoin, how much do the gurus expect me to have in 1, 2, 5, and 10 years?  Like would any idiot who just invested today and didn't sell expect a 5x increase within the next 10 years?
2.  I would use dollar cost averaging, but over what time horizon?  Invest 150k over the next six months?  Or just invest it all today since we all know it's going up?
3.  I could withdraw the old retirement fund and get the initial investment up to 300k.  Would you go all in using that?  I would not have much of a backup plan for retirement if this is the case, but like I said I have a high risk profile.  I do believe this is once in a lifetime.
4. If I want to pursue some alt coins, and again, I have a high risk profile, what % mix would you recommend?  33% alt-coins and 66% bitcoin, or 50-50, etc?

Thank you!!

I think you have to persevere! Will see price forecasts:

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sale / purchase of ERC-20 tokens on: April 11, 2021, 05:21:29 PM
The legit exchange sites already developed very responsive mobile apps and im always using mobile apps created by binance, okex, gate, mxc and many more. I never encounter serious problem. Everything is getting controlled easily. You must need to find the official link on the its official site and that will prevent you to fall into the fake app created by the scammers.
I think that's enough to help you.

Do you have links to official applications so that I would not make a mistake?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sale / purchase of ERC-20 tokens on: April 11, 2021, 05:19:58 PM
So, what exchange platform do you usually use? Most major exchanges such as Binance, Huobi, and Kucoin have launched their mobile app versions. I use Binance app but not for executing orders, only for monitoring charts, price alerts and checking my orders are filled or not.
It is recommended to download apps via the link on the official site.

Usually with binance, but I didn't know it had a mobile option. As you write, it is about reaction time because I do not always have access to a computer. Which one do you use?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Sale / purchase of ERC-20 tokens on: April 11, 2021, 01:14:22 PM
Hi, do you use mobile apps to buy and sell coins? Do you have something proven where everything could be easily controlled? I'm mainly interested in altcoins.

There is a lot of it, but I'm afraid of a scam. Something simple and intuitive.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoins as a gift? on: April 08, 2021, 08:23:33 PM

I have been thinking...
Would it be totally crazy, if I gave 10-15 bitcoins to a woman, who helped me in a really really big way when I was younger.

I mean, would she think I was crazy if I do it?
Would it be a positive thing? Or just weird?

The coins were not worth much when I got them, so from that perspective, it's not THAT big a deal, right?

I would gladly give them to her, but I fear it could have a negative effect to what little friendship we have

And she is married with kids, so while I will always like her, there is no hidden agenda on my part here.

Someone had to deserve a lot because he doubts that someone would just donate almost $ 1 million. Either you really have them for such a sum of money or it's someone very special ...
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall to Zero? Possible or not? on: April 08, 2021, 08:16:04 PM
Here are some scenerios that can cause the price of btc to fall drastically. (In my opinion, it is highly unlikely and the possibility very slim).
(1) No way to trade bitcoin or exchange it for goods and services.
(2) All governments of the world placing a ban on bitcoin and bitcoin related activities making it highly illegal.
(3) The entire bitcoin network and nodes going offline making it impossible to even make underground transactions in bitcoin.
(4) Another crypto overtaking bitcoin and value and more people shifting investment to this new crypto.

I wouldn't panic so much because the prognosis is really good ...

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: UCoin - access to your money! Anytime, anywhere on: April 08, 2021, 08:12:00 PM
I hope it's not another scam because so far the coin has no cover. Is she on the stock exchange?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: See why most bounty hunters get scammed on: April 08, 2021, 08:07:07 PM
Bounty Hunters Don't Read

This thread Explains it

However, won't be surprised to see another application below  Roll Eyes lol

They refuse to read the thread very well and understand the rules

They are very much in a haste to earn and that is why they earn up being scammed.

They sheepishly follow existing application

They refuse to doubt when it sounds too good to be true

***** Just imagine application kept coming in, in an April Fool's Thread.
Are these applications from bots...

A few years ago, participating in campaigns almost always paid off. Sometimes it is slight, but still. Now it is a success to earn, because most of the unsatisfied coins have no cover ...

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP is Back on: April 08, 2021, 07:52:36 PM
While the outlook for 2021 may not look very good, the future outlook for the US dollar looks brilliant. While it may not be as high compared to Bitcoin or Ethereum, its growth is expected to continue, with a value that could reach $ 3 by 2023.

This will happen if all the development plans that Ripple currently has in preparation are initiated, which will allow for more partnerships, not only with financial institutions but also with other institutional investors. Such an extension of the Ripple range will bring immediate benefits to XRP.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: April 04, 2021, 09:13:09 PM
The dogecoin has already pumped up twice with the help of popular persons like Elon Musk, now that many people are trying to invest in Dogecoin, expecting to have another madness on doge. So what if, Elon Musk and other popular experts stopped supporting this meme coin, is there are a possibility that Dogecoin reaches 1$ on its own?

Well, like what I've said, this is just a meme coin, no utility, no usage but what do you think will be the realistic value of Dogecoin for the upcoming years?

2040 is a long road, more than two decades. Until then, Dogecoin could become one of the top 5 cryptocurrencies given its steady progress. Their community may turn out to be one of the best among the competition. There is a possibility that DOGE can integrate with profitable organizations, which can increase the valuation incredibly. By 2040, Dogecoin could reach $ 2.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marvel featuring Bitcoin!!😀 on: April 03, 2021, 09:28:13 PM
I watched the latest episode of Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney +. I noticed this text message on a TV show. Thought it was cool thought I'd share. Remember it was a lot cooler than 5 years ago when I entered the bitcoin space, but still nice to see that we are making progress on cultural touchstones.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: March 30, 2021, 06:25:44 PM
Sincerely? I am waiting a bit for the moment when the bank will end, because I would like to finally buy ETH. So far, I was at the selling stage. It's natural that the price will finally drop ... This happens every 2 years ...
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for Holders! on: March 30, 2021, 06:16:13 PM
You are right, although selling and buying at the right moment is also a good procedure. Thanks to this, you are able to earn even faster and more. The BTC triple alone is not enough.
