621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your entire crypto right now with 500 percent profit? on: October 11, 2019, 03:25:28 PM
there would be many people willing to do that, I have seen many people regretting their action in investing in cryptocurrency and I even have seen someone would take her leave after she regains back her investment not to mention this 5x profit. There are many peoples joined cryptocurrency when Bitcoin was at its peak, almost all of them came here because they thought they were able to get rich in a few days and multiple their investment in a second.

Point well made, but we can't easily say that particularly now that most of us had experience losing some money. Of course they will see it as a great advantage, it depends on the persons way of thinking and besides we can't blame them for making their own choices because they will suffer the outcomes of every decision they make. Most of us must learn how to be patient because we never know maybe there is more than that.
622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I get to know detailed stuff about Bitcoin without the coding languages? on: October 11, 2019, 02:28:12 PM
You can read some posts here to help you understand the basic principles of how bitcoin works. There are also some books and documentaries too.

Some of the posts are:

Blockchain Books, Bitcoin Movies And Documentaries
Frequently Asked Questions About Bitcoins
[General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why?

Actually just like any of you, I also wanted to enlighten myself and widen my understanding about bitcoin which is difficult for me. I've been reading some informational posts in this forum that helps me a lot but despite of that I still feel like there is something missing and I wanted to open myself for new learning, for that reason I search and find myself into this which can be a great help for each and everyone of us. I'm interested too about books about bitcoin since i'm a fan of books whenever I had some free time and its an amazing way to learn and have fun. Well learning depends on the person itself because if you really wanted to learn then you will do anything just to enlighten yourself but we can't blame ourselves if we find it too difficult because we have differences on the way we think or how our minds work.
623  Economy / Economics / Re: The U.S. Government Tried To Shut Down Bitcoin on: October 09, 2019, 04:24:02 PM
Well, if they failed in their earlier attempts, they will also fail in their subsequent attempts. If they are really determined to kill Bitcoin, they should have done it with much force when Bitcoin was a small infant in its crib. But because they failed on that and Bitcoin has grown into a strong young man after 10 years, they are admittedly helpless now. They are claiming Bitcoin to be unstoppable already.

And because of that they are now shifting their focus to unborn projects that might become as strong as Bitcoin in the future. Lest they will become as helpless as they are now over Bitcoin when they will allow the kinds of Libra to proceed. This is precisely the reason why unborn projects such as Libra, walmart's, Apple's, etc are nipped in the bud.
Well said, its because they don't have enough power to destroy bitcoin. Many of them had tried many times before and until now they keep on fighting for it despite of losing it. We can't read their minds and thoughts but I think there is a specific reason why they keep on doing it. Bitcoin had faced many challenges and issues before, I don't think that government officials can get rid of it easily. They are just putting themselves into a difficult situation, but we need to stay positive that it won't happen.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Holders Protection on: October 09, 2019, 03:20:17 PM
This is recommended for the investors who are not able to protect themselves from the hackers cause they only  have a little knowledge about the blockchain technology.
this service is a must for them. actually this is a good service to make it easy for them to secure their crypto assets. As for the people who are knowledgeable enough to protect their crypto assets, this service will no longer needed by them.
Indeed like for example newbies, most of them are still confused and doesn't have enough understanding about safety and security which makes it more bad because as we can see it is definitely speculative. Its the reason why many of them had some bad experiences because of hackers who easily access and take their assets away, its helpful for each and everyone of us who badly want to ensure that our assets is safe.

And another deflationary token in here. This deflationary token business is also becoming very popular. So someone's gonna get hurt badly! I invite you all to be careful. Moreover, these tokens DEV teams and projects are very prone to be SCAM.
Well you're right and I get your point that we need to be cautious and aware these days because of some people who trick or fool other people to get the benefits they wanted but we can't underestimate something we don't know, unless you already had an experience on using it or you've done your own research.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BBC Air Documentary on Notorious ‘Crypto Queen’ Scammer on: October 08, 2019, 01:54:34 PM
Nothing gets the clicks or views more than a good story of fear, uncertainty and doubt. The BBC, which has largely steered clear of reporting on crypto, has aired a documentary on the notorious ‘Crypto Queen’ who made a fortune on a scam ICO.

https://bitcoinist.com/bbc-air-documentary-on-notorious-crypto-queen-scammer/
Scams always happen in investing, and I got used to that. In an ICO if you do not scrutinise the projects you are about to invest, you will always be the prey of all Scammer. Invest in publicly-known projects of the development team's identity, check the project's tax code to authenticate the company you're about to invest. Take your time to check the project information before investing in it.
Well said, and for that reason we need to be cautious and conduct our own research just to ensure that we are not falling into some sort of scam. Scammers these days used different techniques and strategies to deceive other people particularly newbies because most of them does not have enough understanding which leads into bad situation.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6th fresco crowdfunded with a Bitcoin QR code on: October 07, 2019, 05:45:41 PM
Haha, this is a great piece of art mate. From just looking at it for a bit, I can definitely get a feel of what it's saying to me, and I love artwork that has a lot of depth to it. Look at the people trying to scurry away from the water, with a sail of money, when they really don't understand what is good for them. Hilarious.

Where's the exact location of this?
Also, how long did this take?

Thanks for sharing mate!

Its indeed amazing, you can literally see the effort and the creativity. People who scam others just to get the benefits that they wanted must take a look at this because there are different ways to earn profit and the artist apply his talent and used it for a good purpose, now people admire every art piece he was making. I think the artist express his feeling through it that's why it is beautiful, it can attract people's attention which is a good thing.
628  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Beginners & Help (LOCAL) on: October 07, 2019, 04:30:19 PM
629  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Gabay] Seguridad sa Bitcointalk account on: October 07, 2019, 03:39:46 PM
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Things Successful ICOs Have in Common. on: October 07, 2019, 01:52:50 PM
The time of hype is gone, because it has now been discovered that scam projects that have the fund for that, do it most and at the end, it turns out to be just an empty bag full of air.
If that you what you intend doing for your project, it will be hard for investors to believe in you, except for the newbies who are not her acquainted with what it really entails to over hype a project
Marketing is good, but pls tell people the truth and let them know what you are actually offering.
Its better if OP just posted the content of the blog,in that way we can easily see the information that we are looking for without clicking the link because of us had some trust issues. Actually it is true, because newbies doesn't have enough understanding on how to find a trusted and good project.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Relying On ‘Coffee Stains’ And ‘Rusty Staples’ In McCormack Case on: October 07, 2019, 01:19:08 PM
I sincerely don't know when CW realized when to stop his stunts and disappear in crypto space. Maybe he really wants to go to prison and stay there forever??? He turned out to be one pathetic person trying to gain attention from everyone. He can't regain his image anymore, if there's image to protect in the first place.
Well said, maybe he thinks that he can still deceive people but it doesn't turn out good and by that he should realize his own mistakes. He should face the reality that it is not good to make people believe for something isn't true. He's just making his situation even worst, if he continue it then let it be because I know that he will suffer the consequences of his actions.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LOSS OF CRYPTOCURRENCY TO HACKING INTENSIFIES on: October 06, 2019, 12:08:53 PM
We couldn't eliminate hackers in just a single step. They will always find ways to fool users and to steal their earnings. What we have to do is to be mindful of our holdings. If you want to keep your crypto safer, then store it in a hard wallet. Hacking and scams are everywhere and its number is growing so we have to be observant.
Indeed, we need to be attentive and cautious because we can't easily get rid of them, particularly nowadays that they are using different strategies and techniques just to deceive other people and take advantage on them. When you have enough understanding about some safety then you can avoid falling into some kind of problem like hacking because you have the knowledge that can help you make intelligent decisions.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of digital money depends on smart phone technology and people's knowledge on: October 06, 2019, 11:32:05 AM
I attended a bitcoin meet-up around my residence last week and the topic was on the various methods which we can draw the attention of so many people to this network, we proposed numerous ideas and propositions. People do not really understanding what the network is all about, and you can forgive them on that, it's really difficult to understand all it entails.

I think if more bitcoin meet-ups are organized in more areas around the world, it'll help to enlighten more individuals that are still apathetic towards the bitcoin network, when they can see and exchange ideas in real life with people who share similar ideas, it could increase their interest.

Actually such meet-ups have been held a lot, but most people who are familiar with technology attend. In my opinion it is too difficult if these apathetic people are immediately introduced to  bitcoin network, at least they must be emphasized with  development of technology first slowly. If we immediately introduce  bitcoin network to them, I'm sure many of them don't understand it.
Some of them doesn't understand it because its literally confusing and we can't tell that it was their fault considering the fact that sometimes they don't open their minds for something new like new learning. Even if we help them recognize bitcoin, it still depends on them if they are going to accept and adopt it. Sometimes having enough understanding is helpful because you can explain everything if they feel disoriented.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Poker vs Live Casino Poker on: October 06, 2019, 10:34:21 AM
Playing online poker will give advantage to people because they don't have to visit the poker casino, especially if, in his country, gambling was prohibited. He can play poker games in his house, and he can stay in his room, and do anything he wants. But in the live poker game, the benefits will be he can see the opposite reaction if he is bluffing them with his card. He can meet many people who play poker game together, and he can learn how they played, etc.

Both online poker and live poker will have a different advantage, and that will depend on each player to choose. Perhaps, the feeling of playing poker games will be more excited in the live casino. We can have fun with other people while we can celebrate with them if we win. But that is only for people who lived in the country in which gambling is allowed.
Indeed, its a lot easier and less hassle. For that reason many people are much interested in online gambling than the conventional one because we are capable on satisfying ourselves without sweating, but these days its difficult to find a trusted poker site because of some scam sites. Despite of having fun during your leisure time without even leaving your home, you can also earn in online gambling but you have to remember that it is still speculative just like the usual casino.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW EXCHANGE PROJECTS PROMISING HEAVEN AND EARTH OF SAFETY on: October 05, 2019, 12:17:01 PM
I am sure that scammers/hackers will improve their skills as well as protection methods. get rid of scammers forever will not be possible. even the existing banking system is constantly hacking
Indeed, we can't easily get away from them because just like what you have said they will do anything whatever it takes just to deceive other people and take advantage on them particularly for those people who doesn't have enough understanding on how they can secure their assets. For that reason, we need to be more cautious to avoid having some problems when it comes to scammers.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto at Risk Due to Malware on: October 05, 2019, 11:06:59 AM
There is no reason to panic, just be careful when transferring funds. This is an old type of fraud, if you know how it works, then there is nothing to worry about.
Right, the main thing to do is be careful when transferring funds or other things, because if we already know how to work safely in cyrpto, then there will be no worries about the malware, although basically malware is a dangerous virus too.
Indeed, and for that reason we need to be cautious because it is literally speculative. As long as we have enough understanding about safety and security then we can easily handle such things particularly now. We need to be fully attentive when doing transactions, because of people who is capable on deceiving the some of us.
637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 things should not be too in trading on: October 05, 2019, 08:50:09 AM
I have read your three point list and there are some correct items on it but let us generalize things. Every trader has its own techniques and style in trading and in their way its either they gain profit or lose. There are no perfect strategies or totally wrong choices in trading since everything is determined by the market. Some players are attuned to trading in huge volume while some are not, this is  just an example about the uniqueness of the trader. So in the end the most important things that a trade should have is knowledge, skills and experience and as long as he knows what he is doing.
Indeed, you need to have enough understanding to cope up with every problems and to avoid people from taking advantage on you. Furthermore, we have to accept and learn form our own mistakes which is helpful when we are making a choice. Trading is speculative, we need to be patient and we literally need to have our own plan just to earn and get the benefits that we want.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DeClub - Reforming the Casino Industry thru Blockchain Technology on: October 05, 2019, 07:38:17 AM
Hello. Gambling is always a risk and in a casino, you can win, or you can lose. All slots are licensed, regulatory authorities regularly ensure that there are no hidden fraudulent activities in this area. The administration of the casino is physically unable to influence the return of a particular slot. I would play sabaton pokie machine. I wonder what experience you had with this slot? Did you like the game, what was the result? If it’s not difficult for you, write an answer to my post. Thank you in advance)
Well said, we can't really have assurance when it comes to gambling because no one can predict the result of our decisions. Actually, i'm interested about trying different online gambling site jut to entertain myself during my free time but its kind of difficult to find a trusted gambling site. Just like you i'm also asking for some experience and feedback of other people to ensure that everything is good.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Different type of altcoins have their season which attract scammers be watchful on: October 04, 2019, 10:25:42 AM
Thanks for the warning and i hope people on here will learn and listen, at this point in time its better to go for oldy coins they are lit safer and reliable than new projects, nowadays out 100 projects coming into crypto space only 2 projects are legit with good intent in the mind, not everyone are good in doing research so old altcoins is best for now
Indeed, we need to be cautious and attentive for every project because we can easily see if its intention isn't good unless we have already look for some information, reviews and feedback from other people. We need to attentive all the time since scammers are always there looking for some ways to deceive us, having some techniques and enough understanding might help you because its literally speculative.
640  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: myteamfx Scam Fraud Site?? on: October 04, 2019, 09:37:26 AM
I can not find any information or review about myteamfx except in here. So I think you should abandon this website to protect your money safe.
Indeed because there is no specific information about it and that is the reason why we shouldn't trust it, there are different scam sites nowadays and its hard to get rid of them. We need to make sure by looking for some thoughts about it to help us in making decisions because we aren't able to say things if we doesn't have any idea and experience on that. Its speculative which is the reason why we need to be cautious to avoid having some regret.
