321  Economy / Speculation / Re: The arrival of new people in the world of cryptocurrency is really fun on: September 04, 2021, 06:54:46 AM
That only means that more people will be wanting to buy bitcoin thus an increase in the demand, a lot of of demand means increase in prices. And given that there's only a limited supply of bitcoin means that there's no other way for bitcoin but to go up.
322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $50,000 be the resistant price? on: September 04, 2021, 06:00:06 AM
After reaching $50k yesterday, the bitcoin price is now back to the $48k price level. I wonder if the correction will come again since we are almost at the weekend. We already see $50k, so we can see that price again in the next week. Hopefully, this month will be the time for bitcoin to back increase and stay above $50k and even it will have a chance to increase more than $55k. Just hold your bitcoin and accumulate if you still have more funds and wait for the price increase.
Probably a lot of people might've taken some profit when the prices reached that point, nothing wrong with that cause it's a normal thing to do. That's what I am doing, hodling and slowly accumulating bitcoin so when the prices started going up really nice, I have a lot of profit.
323  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here’s what traders expect now that Bitcoin price rallied back to $50K on: September 04, 2021, 04:22:53 AM
On August 23 many traders and investors took profit at the price of $50k. but for now I think bitcoin's target is increasing maybe around $60k which indicates the market will be bullish again after a few days of correction.
this is the right moment for investors to add to their bags.
If the traders take profit again this time, we might not see bitcoin breaking through 100k because it's always getting taken aback because a lot of people are selling, hopefully it won't be the case for this time and we get to have more people hodl this time and wait for at least some time to take profit again.
324  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, I salute your final ATH. on: September 03, 2021, 09:38:40 AM
I don't know why but I feel like this thread be occasionally be bumped so when the prices start breaking the current ATH, we will be able to celebrate it in this thread so @proudhon can see how wrong he/she is and just to add insult to the injury.
325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin = 100k by December on: September 03, 2021, 07:37:15 AM
Knowing that some people always try and take profit as fast as possible, I am pretty sure that we would have a hard time getting into that price point by the end of the year although if I am wrong which is a good thing and the people hodl till December, we might be able to reach that point.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: New York Mayoral Candidates Turn to Crypto for Votes on: September 03, 2021, 06:57:25 AM

It does sound like people in New York are all crypto users that they thought the majority are going to vote for them upon having those promises.  But then anyway, people will be very curious about cryptocurrency because of these mayors.

Both of them already promise the same development for the city so whichever wins, there will be someone to make Bitcoin known to the people.
That's very tunnel vision of the citizens of New York City to only care about one thing to improve in their city, pretty sure that those promises won't come to fruition because some of the regulation might be problematic to become official. It's good that there's a tie in this one, it's only a matter of who is the one that is sincere and will put people first.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gas Fee is too High? on: September 03, 2021, 05:56:37 AM
If you think gas fee is too high now, then you werent around 3 months ago. The reality is, the deeper we are in a bull run, the higher fees will be. There are just too many hyped projects on ETH network right now. Im looking forward for ETH 2.0 which should fiy this issue hopefully.
When will this fix happen? I feel like the gas fee being exorbitant is a really bad thing for crypto as it hinders adoption because if you can't use it for small transactions then you will end up having to abandon it or having to find an alternative.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What effect does a growing number of altcoins have on Bitcoin on: September 03, 2021, 04:39:12 AM
Nothing in my opinion, most of them just coincidentally goes up with bitcoin because some people told some people and those people told some people and so on. In my opinion, it's actually bitcoin causes the altcoins to grow because when the prices are high, not everyone can afford bitcoin so they go for the alternative.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: September 03, 2021, 03:58:19 AM
maybe for beginners bitcoin is a new investment, but this does not apply to miners who have been in the crypto world for so long, because we can say bitcoin investment has almost reached 10 years and that time is not a short time, but we should admit that this investment has only become so popular among the general public in recent years
Exactly, it's technically to some people but not for other people. But in literal sense though, bitcoin's too old to be called a new investment since it's been a decade or so of existence. It had been known by many people in the early years but the only problem is that at that time, it was all negativity for bitcoin.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MrBeast now teaming with Coinbase to give away $100,000 in Bitcoin on Twitter! on: September 03, 2021, 03:14:58 AM
If I read it correctly, the only eligible to this giveaway is, those residents of US, canada and UK based on the coinbase's terms. It also require the winner to have a coinbase account and a kyc identification is required.

Anyway, partnering mrbeast with a twitter follow giveaway is really effective in terms to increase followers.
That's about right, too sad that people from other countries can't participate in this competition, really wanted to join this one and have a chance of getting that prize money, 100k USD can change anyone's life so I feel some regret not being able to participate. This is a big boost to Coinbase because Mr. Beast has a really big following on Twitter.
331  Other / Off-topic / Re: will we witness a blockchain based election in our life time? on: September 03, 2021, 02:27:51 AM
Probably will witness one, but it's going to take a long time, remember that a lot of corrupt and power hungry politicians will be using anything at their disposal for this to not happen. Remember that those politicians need to manipulate and cheat the votes.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My ledger got hacked on: September 03, 2021, 01:07:31 AM
Expensive lessons here and I do hope that many members here will learn from the OP experience and not repeat the mistakes of using public wifi or cloud storage to hide your sensitive data.
You're wrong, it's totally safe to use a public Wi-Fi, I will give you a link about a video regarding the true stuff behind the protection offered by almost any VPNs in the market, it's a short one so it's not that tiring to watch.

333  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Man Robbed of 16 Bitcoin Sues Young Thieves’ Parents on: September 03, 2021, 12:05:48 AM
I don't know what the fuck happened but my post here got reported even though I was right, it's in the email that was sent that the kid was the one that gets sued and tried as an adult and in no way the parents are getting sued there. I don't know how the fuck that post was off topic? Can someone explain that to me pretty please.
334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit $100,000 before the end of the year? on: September 02, 2021, 04:33:29 PM
You need to have patience, especially if the bitcoin price can not reach $100k at the end of this year because bitcoin seemed too slow to increase. We see that the price does not surge to the highest price and back to $60k so it could delay the increase of bitcoin price. Besides that, we do not know for sure what will happen to bitcoin but in the future, bitcoin price can be more than $100k. We can wait for that and prepare for the next bull run so we will not be late to sell bitcoin at the highest price.
Exactly, a lot of people will definitely be disappointed when bitcoin doesn't get to that point, I am pretty sure of that because we've been hyped by a lot of people and we have high hopes so when that doesn't happen, pretty sure we're going to be heartbroken over the fact that it's not going to be 100k at the end of the year. But always remember that you can always hold on to that bitcoin and continue accumulating.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: Bullish or nuts? Fidelity predicts $100M bitcoin in 2035 on: September 02, 2021, 03:52:08 PM
I think 100 million per coin is nuts
A lot of people have said the same thing back then when bitcoin was still a dollar that it's crazy that bitcoin will ever go to a thousand dollars but it did so I don't see anything wrong with believing in that even if we think they're just trying to pump the prices.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: What could make a hacker return stolen $600m crypto on: September 02, 2021, 03:09:59 PM
Maybe he returned it because he cannot withdraw it anyways, his address were flagged already in all exchanges that's why he doesn't have the choice but to return it.  Grin He said he just did it to test the security protocol but I would say he just bluffing and just run out of place because for sure he will be caught eventually.
Isn't the hacker a white hat meaning that they care more about finding vulnerabilities in a given system than the money itself. I don't have any way to confirm his a white hat though but I feel like only a white hat hacker will have that kind of thinking.
337  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Fake] DOGE team is creating a new P2P-PLATFORM on: September 02, 2021, 12:01:47 PM
I'm surprised at the number of their subscribers over 52k subscribers, they are not selling Dogecoin but their own token SafeDogecoin but it's very suspicious because they claim they are part of the Dogecoin team, if they are then why are there no team profile on their webpage added to my suspicious is they don't have a telegram group for investors to ask about their queries.

I think they are hiding something and only scammers will hide their identity and will not allow a group chat.
They're definitely fake, not to mention that if they're part of the team then they should be confirmed by the real people behind Doge, what you're suspecting is true in my opinion, too many red flags.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter and Bitcoin on: September 02, 2021, 11:09:42 AM
If this is to be implemented for real, seems like they gonna use a Lightning network and Strike wallet. This is only positive thing for the Lightning network project. Jack is a legend and Elon just pumps shitcoins...
I guess it's all good still because that way, LN would get more exposure. Also, it's good that they're going to integrate Twitter with crypto, they will be able to make a significant bump to the prices.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto P2P Scam on: September 02, 2021, 09:50:54 AM
The people who were sending me cash in my bank were the people who don't know about cryptos. They only understand banking so he made them send money to me through bank and i had to send bitcoin to that scammer.
You should've been able to prevent that thing from happening, I mean you should've known that in the first place and you should've warned them that there are a lot of risks involved in it and that they'll have to be really careful with how they do things.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YouTuber Airrack gives away $5,000 in Bitcoin in latest video! on: September 02, 2021, 07:05:20 AM
This is a good exposure to people that doesn't know much about bitcoin plus this kind of channels in YouTube have some of the biggest engagement so I guess this is a pretty big thing for bitcoin. I've watched your recommendation on Mr. Beast video and it was a crazy one.
