581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you rather buy for the long term right now...BTC or ETH? on: August 04, 2021, 08:37:22 AM
I'd probably stick with both if I can. If I was forced to pick between the two though I'd probably go for BTC. ETH seems like a nice investment to go on to but I'd prefer Bitcoin all the way since I've had my fair share of experience with it. I've used ether for my transactions here and there but it hasn't really stuck with me whether I should split my currently low monthly investment into both portfolios, doens't seem worth it so I'm sticking to one till I can manage to increase my monthly investment or till I get a pretty satisfactory amount in BTC (which would take a long time I think).
But that means that you will have reduced profit overtime since you are going to invest in both unless you have a lot of money to get both and profit big time in both then you can just go for it. Although, I think that you can still profit big in the long-term if you accumulate bitcoin and eth along the way.
582  Economy / Economics / Re: Will some companies like Amazon really 'store' Bitcoins? on: August 04, 2021, 08:01:31 AM
Amazon won't store bitcoins, they've already made the statement that the rumor isn't true. Although, I think that there's a possibility that other companies are going to store bitcoin, it's not like it's a novel idea, MicroStrategy and Tesla has done it and some other companies too.
583  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami will launch its own cryptocurrency and reward users with bitcoin on: August 04, 2021, 07:20:13 AM
Big step, back then they were just considering adding bitcoin as an option for the salary of their employees and now this? Having their own coin that rewards you with bitcoin if you use it is pretty neat if you ask me, I mean you just have to convert your fiat to their coin and then spend it and if I understood correctly they will be rewarded. The only problem that I see is that it's going to be hard to maintain paying their users with bitcoin.
584  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid lessons learned know when to finish on: August 04, 2021, 05:52:29 AM
No one knew about the accident in advance. Hearing the news did not feel terrible at first. Just like some natural disasters, we are powerless in front of it. During the epidemic, the family had no income and no source of financial resources, but we still had to spend money on purchasing necessities, which made me miss my days at work. The blockade has had a huge impact on life and the country. I hope we can get through all this safely and through this darkness.
No one knew? Then why were there whistleblowers that were detained in China because they warned that it was a contagious virus and that someone has to answer for the spread of the virus. I mean what can you do in that situation, you need to have money and people who provide it, need the money too but the problem is that a lot of people have their cash flow cut off.
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: August 03, 2021, 07:24:52 PM
Dominating win for the US, they have to be the hands down favorite to win this year.  Durant has been looking great.  Would never bet on them since the odds are so slim but these games looks like a good time to bet on them.  Haven't looked but what are the odds of them taking the whole thing, anyone know what the curre t odds are?
Dude, them not winning in this sport is a bit humiliating if you ask me because that's like their flagship sports plus, I think that they will probably continue to dominate the whole tournament, I have high hopes that other countries will be able to make a good fight against them.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be betting more during the Olympics? on: August 03, 2021, 06:38:08 PM
This year, the Olympics is pretty rife with politics so you can actually take advantage of that by making sure to bet on controversial countries especially China, they have the go hard or go home attitude plus they have a really big influence over this league and they're currently second I think in terms of standing.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 Postponed 21 on: August 03, 2021, 06:01:27 PM
~~~
you know the Olympics could make a "bubble" (the bubble I am saying here is like an isolation zone where only staff, athletes, etc.. are allowed) after the vaccination of the athletes that are only exclusive to the athletes, coaches, staff and etc... the NBA "bubble" was deemed successful as a preventive measure to keep the staffs and the athletes healthy, safe and infected free during the NBA.
I know about bubble but I don't think that it's a completely safe way to prevent the pandemic from entering, unless they have made the preparation to be able to create a large scale bubble. Th e Olympics have started and it seems that things are going smooth and virus free though so I do admit that I am wrong about this one, enjoyed the matches.
@Lightlord
Are you going to process my withdrawal?  I have reached out to you in chat, pm'd you on the site, submitted support tickets, and attempted to contact you here.  I have run out of options.  Where are you?
I don't know about how dire your problems are but you have to wait patiently, it seems that @Lightlord is a little bit busy so I don't think that he will be able to answer, think about it, there's only so much a human can do in a day. Even us users who participated in his campaign has wait for our payments too.
589  Economy / Speculation / Re: Drop from $60k to $30k was part of bull run cycle? on: August 03, 2021, 04:48:35 PM
I do not think the models will be identical because what happened in 2013 is not as happened in 2017 and do not forget the impact of Covid-19 that may add a new variable for the equation leads to be difficult to predict.
Many variables and expectations are open but the point of 60 thousand dollars was not the price of the price and we have seen much higher waves.
Do not forget that we are at the dreams levels if we return to the date of 2020 as no One believed to reach the level of 20 thousand.
Exactly, history in this one never seem to repeat itself which is a good thing because you don't exactly have the constant people in the market, it will grow in number or it will decrease overtime. I do hope too that with a different model, we see that it results in something really positive.
590  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin current stage and price on: August 03, 2021, 04:06:01 PM
It's hard to predict what's going to happen next but I think that it's kind of strange that the prices are going strong even though the month is a bit in the middle and I feel like at this time around, the prices should be going down or at least not rallying high.
591  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: August 03, 2021, 03:33:00 PM
There's still a possibility that the prices could go down under 20k USD, there's still a lot of time for the market to reach that point and the current price isn't that far for it to go down below. I do hope that we won't see it anytime soon but if it does then we better have some money so we can buy at a discounted price.
592  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: August 03, 2021, 01:45:50 PM
The recent increase in the price made us start thinking of whether the bull market is back again or not. Because Bitcoin price climbed to even $42k recently. And still it has a potential to do better. In the coming days, we may witness Bitcoin price reaching at least $45k, I think. Then it could be even easier to reach at least $50k in a short time period.
Not really a good thing to start assuming that the price will go up more than it has already, we don't know yet if this is a trap or a legitimate run that's going to continue from running. I don't think that we are on the bull market already but I do think we are out of the bear already so it's still a good thing.
593  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin investment on: August 03, 2021, 12:54:35 PM
It's always time to buy I believe. We are never late or early to do so. Because we don't know what will happen in the market in the near future. Bitcoin price can continue to rise or start going down again. We don't even know if we are in the bull market now. There has been a really good increase in the price so far. And I hope that it continues because I also have some investments into Bitcoin.  Grin
Totally agree with you that anytime is the right time to buy bitcoin or any investment for that matter because if you believe and even the experts believe that the market will appreciate in the long-term then you know that you should probably invest in it.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 📉 💸 Chances to get a losing streak 💀 😱 on: August 02, 2021, 02:08:12 PM
@tyz is right, it's hard to determine the chance of losing streak but I like to elaborate on a different part regarding why it's hard to determine the chances, it's because we aren't mathematicians plus it's not the losing streak that we have to determine because losing is what's mostly going to happen to you when you are gambling, offline or online. Maybe if you are a statistician then probably you can do it. Also, a way to determine your chances of losing is try making odds on what you're playing and the highest number is your chance of losing.
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: August 02, 2021, 12:26:41 PM
I think there's nothing wrong with betting on friendly match expect that there's no upset happening because the teams that are playing won't be playing at their best because there's no stake for them in the game. So when you bet on this kind of game, go for the favorites because they're likely to win.
596  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Bitcasino.io Olympics 2021 🥇 on: August 02, 2021, 11:03:22 AM
I just want to reinforce the view that by having the loyalty points not reset every day 1 of each month then most probably this will bring more users to play,one of the things I hated the most was when I was near to get to that gold level just for a few points and suddenly the month ended and I never saw the rewards of this level.Of course you have to optimize this to minimize every possible kind of abuse but I am sure the casino team will come up with something good.
I agree with this one, If you think about it, they only value loyalty of their customers/clients for about a month. Although I can see where they're getting with a monthly reset to make sure that there's some sort of frustration fueled fervor to get to a higher price than the last time and to make sure that their clients keep engaged every month but it's a bit unfair to the users.
597  Economy / Economics / Re: Which area will develop after the epidemic? on: August 02, 2021, 07:57:32 AM
I will consider those countries that are producing covid-19 vaccine as the ones that will develop more because it has provided them with more jobs and creation of job is a big benefit to any economy as it creates wealth to the people. I can't say whether China is a producer of the vaccine for now.
Well, they do have the advantage but I think that even if they have that many people vaccinated, they will still have to help with the global effort to stop the pandemic in other countries because with more people still affected then the global economy will be slow if not crippled. China does produce vaccine but the problem is that they have the lowest performing vaccines in the market.
598  Economy / Economics / Re: The Central Digital currencies will make monetary policy more difficult on: August 02, 2021, 06:55:11 AM
That's it's just the start, these people don't exactly know yet what exactly they should do before putting some sort of regulation on cryptocurrency and I don't think that we will ever see a good regulation this year for cryptocurrency because there's still a lot of things that these government have to learn and understand.
599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull trap or lasting on: August 02, 2021, 06:21:56 AM
Around march last year that covid-19 was hitting the world heavily, bitcoin started increasing and people kept speculating bear but price kept moving up. Yet now speculators are hitting the pages for bear but the price kept appreciating. Currently we are at $41,257 , this is looking like more bull with the positive news around bitcoin.
So what you're trying to say is that what's going to happen now is the reverse of the last year? I don't have the knack and knowledge for analysis but I feel like this is a trap that will cause the prices to go down and then have the price go back up by the end of the year or the start of a new year.
600  Economy / Speculation / Re: [UPDATE] Bangladesh maybe accept Bitcoin, Bangladesh bank mail to CID on: August 02, 2021, 05:09:53 AM
If that's the case I think it is a good news in the sense that those in bangla will have the opportunity to trade btc freely without any fear, besides btc is not only the currency that criminals can use to carry out their illegal activities, then what will be the essence of banning it and even going as far as threatening to punish anyone who engaged in it, I hope this is beginning of new doors opening for btc in Bangladesh.
Didn't they recently did a ban on bitcoin because it was allegedly used to fund terrorism? Although I am happy that they are accepting bitcoin again, I still think that these kind of acceptance won't last because it's been like this for a long time and it seems that the instability in supporting crypto in the region isn't going to go away anytime soon.
