1  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - New bitcoin sportsbook - Best odds - Very quick transactions on: April 17, 2013, 03:49:01 AM
Can you list all the requirements of a 10BTC bet?  I was limited yesterday on a straight bet for NHL Vancouver.  Thanks!

Love your book!

We've pushed some code to update our max bet quicker. The Vancouver ML is now accepting bets up to 10 BTC (and the odds are even better than before!) If you bet 4 earlier, then you can put down an additional 6 now!

Can you make the Penguins ML tomorrow max bet 10BTC?  Thanks!!!

Imagine a nerd has been mining 100k worth of bitcoins, then just transferred it to their mtgox account and then just sold it for 10 million =D.

Oh my god, someone has more money than me, quick! I have to think of some name to call them!

Jerry.  Sounds like a not-threatening name.

I was thinking more along the lines of Jim...why Jerry?

You kidding me?  Jim is the name of almost every Hedge Fund Manager... Jerry is the name of every Mcdonald's manager.

I was under the impression that was Bill...always get these guys confused...

Bill is usually that HF Manager's father/uncle.  Onamastics baby.

Soooooo was it Jerry, Jim, Bill, Jim's Father, or Jim's Uncle that just moved 10 MILLION(!) dollars worth of BTC?

It was Jim's Butler in the kitchen using a lead pipe!

Its always the butler...leave them alone with your computer for 5 seconds and poof, there goes your wallet.

Leave me with your computer for 5 seconds and poof, there goes your wallet.

12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ripples and BTC on: April 13, 2013, 11:15:10 PM
ripples do not have enough people backing it up.  They are the law to an extent and if they can give out free ripples then the concept of what is a publicly controlled amount of coins is now void.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: OMG MASSIVE SELL-OFF!?!? on: April 10, 2013, 02:26:00 PM
And we make our way back up.  All time highs = sell offs... it's just how any trading works.

No reason for it to burst other than a major robbery or government intervention.  I say it cruises on until maybe people think it's not worth as much as they are paying.
