Is there a reason why Cardano is so ignored on Bitcointalk.org and even bashed by times? I have done years of research and picked Cardano among a number of other altcoins to invest in and was never worried of "failing deadlines", a "narcistic Charles Hoskinson" or "no use-cases but only a wallet" statements.

Ask yourself the question, why would one invest in something? The golden rule regarding investing in something is that it is (or should be) able to add value to the current value of it, e.g. stocks, real estate, commodities, etc, etc)
Investing or speculating in an altcoin is a highly risky investment with on the other side a potential enormous reward. Mass adoption is still not the case and it will take years before some adoption from the wider public and more investments from institutional investors will drive up the prices of some altcions. Eventually only altcoins with the best tech, best use cases and best marketing will survive and will work together with companies, governments, banks, etc, when it comes to adoption and the value of these altcoins will rise dramatically.  

So, now Cardano. Why is this project/altcoin so ignored while it
- has argumently the best underlying tech of all altcoins including one of the most TPS
- is peer-reviewed by the highest standards so every product roll-out will be flawless as possible
- is finally delivering in 2020 (Shelly, partnerships, possibilty of creating smart contracts, etc)
- is rolling out marketing end of 2020
 
Is it really beacuase Charles Hoskinson left Ethereum and started Cardano and this sub is Ethereum minded?

Thanks for the comment. I believe FLETA remained relatively strong in this ALT downtrend.
I have just checked the board of advisors on the FLETA website and it really is impressive - EX CEO of Oracle Korea, Microsoft, a current director at Google Hardware.

I expect healthy returns from FLETA when they are listed on a few more global exchanges and people start looking into the project in an ALTS rally.

what do you think ? is this the time for ethereum to grow and touch $1k before this year end ?

Defi trend is still very strong and what is most important is supporting the right defi project, there are many projects out there claiming to be defi but only few can actually be considered as one, although I don't know much about Defiat yet but the above quote cut my attention, the ability to stake any other erc20 is very appealing i can't wait to know more about this.

If you look at the messages in the discord channel, we see that the developer is actively preparing the software for the mainnet launch and promises, as I understand, on Saturday, perhaps the software for working with Neuralium in the main network will be finished. We will look forward to the mainnet launch and wish the developer success in launching.

It is good news if we see more of these giant companies to start adopting cryptocurrency. Their actions are making the market bigger and expanding as much as they can. The hate that has been circulating for the cryptocurrency market will start to lessen and people will understand that they need to take it seriously. And if it's the banks that will start adopting it, we will see another integration from them and that's very possible in the near future.

While I acknowledge that anything is possible, specifcally in the world of cryptocurrency.  TRX reaching, or surpassing $5.00 in value has been on my thoughts recently...

I have read predictions from most Trx adopters saying by December 2020, trx could be $5.00 in value. How they arrived at that, I do not know.

because when it enters the market the causes of the dump are many factors because the business is no longer with the bounty hunters, but investors and traders also intervene in buying and selling. and see how strong the bounty project is in solving the problem of whether there will be a buyback edition from the developer or make the price soar with big news, if there is no harm in immediately selling the tokens from the bounty, no matter if there is a dump or not while the bounty project is not there guarantee will develop

Is it just me or what? I honestly dislike projects that have anonymous team when the project isn't a privacy Monero kinda thing, even few Privacy tokens have teams that aren't anonymous, shit I just feel like they are hidden for a purposes, some kinda easy getaway? What's your thought about this?

I think it's not good for investment because altcoin harmony have large total supply makes prices low and makes it difficult for prices to rise high because price harmony will be stable due to large total supply

No one can say, the market is very volatile and news that concerns the industry will have an impact on the market whether bad or good news if there are more good news coming the price can retain it's position or it might even go up, the worst case scenario is for us to receive bad news like another hacking or investors losing millions again, this is the kind of thing that will bring the market down.
