That frosty wallet is my brothers and he has forgotten his password so good luck getting into it lol.
Ooh ooh how many letters were in it, numbers, what did it start with, what was he looking at, does it contain words or rand.... ahhh nurts.. must be slightly annoying having 28k sitting there tho...

I too got that email, checked the files in isolated machine. The password.txt is a exe file with trojan. But the wallet.dat file is true & it has 30.28 btc, but the wallet is encrypted. The coins received from frosty wallet & it has another 3 addresses, which has label assigned to it.
It seems the scammer sent real wallet, encrypted, so that he dont loose coins, but want others to loose coins.
Indeed the person who seems to originally own the wallet is Liquid00 on the forums, also on the litecoin aus website. he sent 19btc to this wallet at some point.

so how do we get those 30.2 btc out of that wallet !!!11

His idea seems to have worked out better for him.
Let people keep mining on his pool, don't pay out, wait, $$$
I wonder if he dreams at night...

This is so frustrating.
I am trying to write a front end gui for it in visual studio and I simply cannot get the console to redirect to the damn thing.
I can either start cgminer as normal, which includes hiding it as you've done, but if I try to use the only way I know to redirect console output, cgminer simply will not start. No error. No hint of starting. Just flicks up and gone.
Almost as if it's written to refuse to run should someone want to have the details inside a gui rather than a text console.
I give up. I have 2 monitors, I need it to start on the second so I can shut off the main one, and if I start the thing with a batch file or any script, it loads where it wants on the first monitor. Frustrating. So I thought write an app I can position myself, that grabs the info. No go.
jesus christ.. WHY...

It used to be that if you tried to withdraw and there was no funds in the hot wallet, it'd tell you that you had an insufficient amount.
I guess people spamming the withdraw button made him change it so that it still says that, but now logs you out.
Either way, sod it. The prick has been nothing but problems.
And with my rate I can only get a withdrawal every 3 days on other pools.
ahhhah it's a joke.. it's all a joke.

Will surely direct my 6Mhash/s towards feathercoin again if the retarget gets down a bit. HOWEVER whats says that this wont happen again. as soon as the diff is around 30 again the network gets flooded with miners, difficulty rises an people abandon ship again...
Surely this has to have some remedy. I know when there was a certain miner pulling 220,000+ it was when the problems started. Then the difficulty went mad, they went back to ltc and left everyone else who has <1000khash/s struggling to make anything. I have no idea how it works under the bonnet, and I'm mathematically illiterate, so I dunno.. but it seems that's the problem. Is there no way to smooth out the progression so that everyone can take it at a steady pace? Rather than 1 or 2 people who are really only in it for profit, and who don't care about the intention or other people? I mean, they float around all the cryptos and only go for what suits them best for maximum profitability.. Again, I dunno.. just feels like it's where the issue is..

I'll point my measly gpu and cpu at give-me-ftc, should add about 390-400khash/s. won't be a lot, but I'm there

Personally, if I were a moderator on these forums, I'd ban the fuck out of some moron posting hardcore porn links hidden under a coin.url.
So I guess I know who to ignore.
As for FTC. Seems people are too eager to bash people who are not here to defend themselves of at least reply.
And no wonder.

Same, just noticed it's shutting down, says to withdraw the coins, but when I go to it tells me I have none?
This is why I don't want to start mining in 1000 pools and have scraps everywhere... sadly, I probably will lose a lot of coins in total as I've had to dick around on pools where they either are shonky sysops or problems that make the pool close, or like this where it goes down, but can't let me withdraw.
What really craps me off is checking the balances of some people I gifted coins to when it was all going well, I see they made something like 5 times what I have in total, and have cashed them all out and have 0 balance.
ffs, makes you wonder... burning my gpu for them to go buy ltc or something..

I don't seem to have post privileges on the feathercoin forums, but Bushstar posted the updated client, and when I click on the link, I get an invalid https certificate error, and have to remove the s, http:// worked.
Just thought I'd mention it as there was no mention in the thread..

cleared my balance and went to coinotron. Anyone recommend any other LTC pools?
Is there a single damn litecoin pool that doesn't make you wait till you have 1 coin before it lets you withdraw and that doesn't stick you with a 0.1ltc fee if you withdraw? ugh this is tedious...

Well it seems as if notroll is now gone for good. my miners stopped at about 9am this morning and I can't access the site all day, and now it has a default new server is up message.
shame it all went to crap since despite the shifty administration, it was constant for me.
ahh well.. star again time on a new pool maybe if I just forget about it, in a month I'll have one more full coin.

You can tell the low IQ of the sellers by the small amounts they are selling. Anyway, works for me. Sell everything guys! Hmm.. I have 0 of these. I guess that makes me euuhuhhuh it's a fly. I seem to have wandered into bizaro land. Do we all just mine like crazy and then abandon ship and float along to the new shinier boat? Ugh... I must. I must I must increase my miserable wallet.. every day, in every way, I'm getting minier and minier..

I wish there was a lower manual payout fee as 0.1ltc is huge now compared to earlier on. It never changes to reflect the amount it's actually taking. As it is, it's a long time to wait before I know if I'm mining for naught... or losing 1/2 of what I earn to a fee for transaction. haha as someone else said why cant I just be rich and throw all my money at hash power. Ohh i just noticed dodg is there .. well I'm not going to bother. Just to see his name fill out the stats. waste of time.

I'm so confused about this pool.
It's the only one that consistently pays me any real amount of ltc, as I don't have the patience to wait for a WHOLE payout from almost every other pool I've tried. They'd have been ok when the payouts were frequent, but with the difficulty and the rates, payouts once a fortnight for me is pointless.. even if it is the same or more than notroll.. I don't like it sitting online in a pool where I can't get to it, or pay half of what I have to get it out in a free.
So notroll has let me mine and keep mining, even with it's payout funk.
But now the website is down. That's not something I can look over, as it's the only way to get out what I have there. argh.
the auto payout amount should be proportionate to the hash rate you're throwing at it.. obviously people with khashes will accrue a lot of coin in no time, and get the required level to have it done in no time. People like me are just running the miners for days on end with nothing in the wallet.
So, what a pita...
I've got piddly bits on a bunch of pools I'll never be able to get out as I just can't get them up there... not reasonably anyway. meh
