1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the ultimate winner of Bitcoin pump? on: January 29, 2021, 10:46:50 PM
Everyone who bought bitcoin, even those who bought a little bit late in the bullrun benefitted, may not be financially with the increase in profits and all, but in some way or another, like how it allowed people to take advantage of bitcoin's security. So even if you did not get that much from the bull run because you came in late to the party, rest assured that as long as you hodl, you will gain bigger benefits from it.
I think one of those are the people who trust bitcoin I know some of them to think this is one of their fullest regret in their lives unexpectedly the price of the bitcoin pumps most of the rumors are just exceed the previous all the time and didn't expect it will come up over 40k. If you are mentally weak enough for sure you already sold your BTC when it reaches 10-15k and to those who people who held more than a year I would like to congratulate you, this is your new Lamborghini or a Bugatti.

I think the winner of this time is the long term trading holding a lot of year's it's a challenge to make a profit. Of course, the short-term trading rides the market volatility.
It's better to be late than never, advose them to buy even at this moment instead of not buying at all and missing out yet again on future ATHs, that way they can hodl as much without the worry of FOMO
1002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strategies to save off Bitcoin fees? on: January 29, 2021, 09:26:00 PM
This have become a dilemma ever since bitcoin hit high prices, you can't send small transactions without spending more on the transaction fees, if there's only a way we can get around this like the Lightning Network which up until now isn't even released despite being years in the making. Hopefully though they do something about it, we need affordable transactions now more than ever especially if we are all for the global adoption of bitcoin.
1003  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin in Africa Is a Way for Some to Escape Poverty on: January 29, 2021, 09:00:33 PM
Trading stocks and assets is the go to of many in earning ridiculous amounts of money. This is true and it is just recently that Africa started to adopt this money-making strategy. That being said, one has to be aware that this strategy is not as financially securinh as let's say a 9-5 job because there will always be a factor of loss yiu should consider, but all of that in mind, you'd be a great trader and once you're done with it, sell a self-written book, and wallow in your passive income.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newbie gambling sites on: January 29, 2021, 08:50:38 PM
Betfury is one of those newbie-friendly gambling sites that you can try out for free. They have this staking feature that allows you to accumulate profits regardless of your wins or losses, and cashbacks also give you the chance to earn more with the money you spend on gambling, I recommend you try them out.

1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future? on: January 28, 2021, 11:37:08 PM
If I am readily aware or confident that bitcoin will reach $1M as early as now, then the most logical action is to buy more, since that is going to give me more chance to earn more. However, let's say I'm a normal guy with no clairvoyant powers, if in the case I have some bitcoins in me and it happens to reach $1M in the future, then I'll go cashout some of my earnings, drink a beer, then buy a lambo. In cash, give money to the poor in my community, donate to charity, invest some of it back, and finally settle inside my house and lay my back.
1007  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: January 28, 2021, 11:31:33 PM
I like the mindset but this does not make sense for some of us, especially those who are poverty-stricken and have been to crypto by a strike of fate. You have to understand that not all of us has it as good as some of us to which of no fault of their own anyway. What we have to instead, is to inspire, encourage, and educate these people so they can help themselves out of the rabbit hole situation they have been in. That way, we can be sure that 2021 and 2022 is a year of prosperity to most of us.
Honestly each moment of your life is in your hands and considering the financial management, well it’s whole new chapter of your life. You have to manage finances pretty well to make yourself rich. It’s not just income source that matters or the year that you are living right now. It’s your management that really matters in the real life. If you fail to save portion of your income then you are not on the right path.

Your wealth is not completely dependable on how bitcoin is performing, but your way of spending or investing in it also matter a lot.

So, whether it is 2020, 2021 or 2024 becoming rich or having luxury is completely in your hands with your management skills.  Wink
on the other hand, you are correct, as the saying goes, it's better to cut expenses than to add profits. However, some of us can still be in a pickle financially due to certain circumstances, like breadwinners, severely impoverished people and the likes.
1008  Economy / Economics / Re: The GameStop drama and what does it mean for Bitcoin on: January 28, 2021, 11:25:59 PM
You know how I see it? I see it as the general public slowly starting to opening its eyes to the evils that some corporation and entities have committed to us in the past couple of decades, this is our payback. Sure they may have lost millions, even billions of dollars but where did this went to? Our pockets, where we can make use of it more unlike these wall street bankers who will just hoard it all anyway.
1009  Economy / Economics / Re: The pros and cons of going cashless on: January 28, 2021, 10:14:56 PM
Fraudulent transactions are easily blocked by your banking institution if you were to report it. So with that information in mind you should have a good gist of what he meant when he said Extra Theft Protection in the case of cashless transactions. Now you will sometimes be needed in determining which transactions are to be blocked off or allowed to pass through.
1010  Economy / Economics / Re: Marathon Invests $150 Million In Bitcoin on: January 28, 2021, 10:10:56 PM
Here we go with more and more public companies pumping the coin's price and setting a much higher resistance point than the one we had in the past. This will not allow small-time investors to buy the dip unfortunately because there will never be a dip, these guys flocking in on bitcoin will stabilize the price to a point that it's pointless to invest on bitcoin anymore. Capitalism yet again wins this time, for God's sake.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why would anyone use a betting broker? Have you tried it? on: January 28, 2021, 10:08:31 PM
Somepeople just didn't have that confidence in their iwn abilities and brains when it comes to gambling, so they'll ask a broker to bet for them, now the reason this AI betting system works is because it works on the betting pattern of the main guy, the original bettor. This gives a false sense of power on the bettors' end and a more optomized playstyle on the AI's.
I've never been using this kind of broker my whole life in gambling few of them are on knowledge and skill, sometimes having mistakes due to unexpected things like the underdog winning the game. If you are using a broker and wage to those underdog teams there is a chance you will make it double not even but also triple the wage you have.

Sometimes I follow the prediction of other people most likely those sports I'm not good at it and doubting my research. Some of my friends there is a broker but not on the crypto gambling mostly in e-sports
Imagine if you don't have to do anything like that anymore and you can just go watch Superbowl, NBA or something. That is how they are advertising this brokerage system.
1012  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I am being mercilessly scammed by somone from the bitcoin world on: January 27, 2021, 11:24:02 PM
Moat likely a phishing mail if you're being asked to login, be wary not to enter anything as not only could your bitcoins be at risk, your overall privacy and connectivity within the internet will be on the line. Better yet, don't entertain these scammers. They only get an edge over you if you give them the chance to talk to you and win your favor over. If you don't do that it won't happen.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin's twitter account? on: January 27, 2021, 11:19:57 PM
Since the owner or the creator I should say of bitcoin remains anonymous up to this, day, by his own means and wants, you would not find a single official bitcoin twitter page or account, so better tp stick with groups and communities liks the ones that are on telegram since there, you'd find like-minded people who you can gain insights and information from.
1014  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop an opportunity to buy on: January 27, 2021, 10:56:26 PM
This is not a drop I would personally move my self out and by a couple bitcoins back, since there is still some. Resistance on the other end of the spectrum courtesy of companies pumping bitcoin's price, so let miners do their thing, and wait the thing out since there will still be greater opportunities to buy the coin out especially if this resistance is removed.
1015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We once had a barter system here, but the government smashed it on: January 27, 2021, 10:18:52 PM
What they did with the barter system in your country is definitely awful and all but I don't see how it could be connected to crypto now. As far as I know, people are more wary of what they get their news from and since we all know media can't be relied upon anymore, we're taking steps to avoid media dependency. Stock Trader giants on the other hand, now those are the ones that are a big pain in bitcoin's back.
Only if you understand that government can't actually eradicate bitcoin worldwide. You need to read the impact the bitcoin has made. Before, the tension was drawing about bitcoin and other crypto been ban in some countries especially China but up till date crypto is getting much more attention day in day out and the recent bull run has uncovered a lot of things. Don't be surprise if some countries start to create their own crypto asset because it was reported before that some countries in Europe are already doing this.
This is generally true, but if a major country is removed of bitcoin's reach and service, not only will it be bad for their investments but it would also be bad for bitcoin, one of the first things to look out for would be the massive panic selling, which will then be accompanied by the ban which will definitely affect bitcoin's price.
1016  Economy / Economics / Re: New US presidents are privacy-friendly? on: January 27, 2021, 10:11:47 PM
I'd still take Biden any day compared to Trump, at least the guy had the guts to ensure that something he would like to impose a rule on is researched well and not just be thrown a cease and desist order on. After all anonymity doesn't equate good internet environment. At times it's much more adequate to have some form of identification, now what they do with our information, that I don't want to delve into this topic anymore.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino through cheating on: January 27, 2021, 10:07:18 PM
This happens and came to be because they saw gambling as an opportunity to create profit, and not to be something to relieve stress from and basically relax. Not saying that what they're doing is wrong since at the end of the day the house also cheats on you so it's either you or them. But if you could invest time and effort doing this and learning so much information about the game you'll be abusing, why don't we spend more time doing what we really love and use gambling as a sideline eh?
This story inspires me. It takes a lot of guts to pull it off. I wonder how it turned out for the students their techniques. Did such skill work for them also? Or did the casinos get smarter? Anyways it feels good to know the house doesn't always win  Grin
Nothing too out of the ordinary at least for these students, they basically just counted the cards because they knew the house will always cheat on them and created a pattern that will allow them to win.

1019  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: January 26, 2021, 11:58:33 PM
Elon is seen as the new Jesus of our era. People like him because he's the science guy that is also cool with the current generation's humor. They liked him most when he hosted Meme Review, a show by a famous YouTuber by the name of Pewdiepie. That's why they gravitate towarda all that he would say. On the other hand, his words carry weight too, listen to his interviews, even the once who were turned into memes and you will see how inaightful the guy is.
1020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if internet connectivity gets terminated on: January 26, 2021, 11:55:16 PM
There will first become civil unrest, most of it coming from the Gen Zs who already lived with the internet becoming readily available. Us who have lived for a while will not be that aggressive until we confirmed that internet use is banned indefinitely, from there we will find ourselves fighting for our rights. On the other side of the spectrum, our bitcoins could possibly be two things. Dead or in purgatory. Dead when I say they lose value almost to nothing, or in purgatory if their value stagnated or lay-lowed within a certain range.
