1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Western Union Money Order Refund? ***CampBX*** on: January 14, 2014, 12:53:26 PM
I think they will only give refunds on MO's that have not yet been cashed.
I wonder if campbx really cashed it?

3  Other / Beginners & Help / Western Union Money Order Refund? ***CampBX*** on: January 13, 2014, 06:15:02 PM
So since campbx scammed a ton of people of money orders, I still have my receipt of the money order.

I went here: http://www.westernunion.com/us/money-order

It said I can fill out a refund request form: http://www.westernunion.com/static/pdf/Money-Order-Customer-Request-Form-En.pdf

Does anybody know anything about this? If it will work or just waste my time?
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CampBX lost my money order... Beware. Do not send them money orders. on: January 11, 2014, 05:06:21 AM
Yeah, you can sue them in Georgia, I had looked into it.  You'll either need to hire a lawyer there (you can probably get a cheap one, just look for a small firm) or do it yourself if you live in the area.  How much do you have at stake that they took from you?
haha just $500, nothing that serious, but still.
5  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CampBX Support MIA - Are they stealing customer funds? on: January 09, 2014, 10:40:59 PM
They absolutely stole customers MO and BTC and fled.

What can we do though?

I guess I'll have to go with localbitcoins, I didn't think it was legit but I did some reading.

Just do a cash deposit from any bank to the seller and I get my coins.
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CampBX lost my money order... Beware. Do not send them money orders. on: January 08, 2014, 10:02:56 PM
I've sent over 10-20 money orders to them and they've all gone through within 8 days max.

I sent them a MO for $500 December 30th, should've got to their office around last week, and my money still has not been funded.

And their chat support is offline right now. If it doesn't go through I am done with campbx.

As a matter of fact, after reading everyone's bad experiences, I think I'm done now.

Does anyone know another place that accepts cash/money orders? Please don't say localbitcoins.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin takes a beating: down nearly 50% as China cracks down on: December 18, 2013, 01:35:08 AM
If you think about it... If it was the other way around, as in China still being able to work with btc and the US not being able to, the price would be soooooooo much lower than this.. Like Probably 200.

Probably lower cause China would've panic sold, then like $5 lol

ACH deposit method availability has been delayed by one week to Nov 27, 2013.

In the meantime, please use money orders or checks to fund your account. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Fuck, so no money flowing into camp, takes a week for a money order to mail.
11  Economy / Speculation / CampBX: Bid low! on: November 21, 2013, 02:47:33 AM
CampBX is selling around $540/btc.

Mtgox is $635/btc

Everyone should come on over to camp bx, buy a fuck ton of bitcoins, and let the price go up  Grin
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 20, 2013, 05:32:55 AM
And of fucking course campbx would be down... So I am a sitting duck..
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mtgox, Bitstamp "Let's calm down": 700, 550$. China "I don't give a fuck": 900$. on: November 19, 2013, 06:20:49 PM
So you know how we have a forum for talking about bitcoin...

Does China have a forum just like us where they discuss bitcoin? They most likely do but, what's the site..?

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: So how to buy bitcoins easy now with BITINSTANT requiring you to identify on: July 06, 2013, 08:41:24 AM
Does anybody know another place that accepts cash deposits to get btc??

You should try bitcoin-brokers. It's a fairly new startup that links buyers and sellers of BTC. They have support for the major banks such as BoA, Chase, and WF. The transaction fee is very minimal, which is a plus. Here's a link to the thread if you want to find out more: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237164.0. Another option you have is #bitcoin-otc. It's an IRC channel that serves for the discussion and trading of BTC. Even as a new user, you should be able to find someone to sell you coins for a bank deposit. There's a trust system that you can use to determine whether or not you would like to trade with someone. You should check both of these options out.

Hope this helps and best of luck to you!

That actually helps me alot. Thank you so much

I setup a request at bitcoin-broker. Now if I understand this correctly, I just go to the bank and say I need to do a deposit or something? I'm not 18 if that means anything.

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: June 28, 2013, 11:28:51 PM
It would be great if they fixed the stupid ass identity quiz and the problems with one of our partners glitch..
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: June 27, 2013, 02:37:41 PM
You know, none of this shit would have happened if bitinstant just stayed the damn same and didn't go into a new interface and all that stupid shit. No one cares about that shit. They just care that it works. Why fix something that's not broken??
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: June 25, 2013, 02:51:50 PM
I just wanted to post that I had used BitInstant in the past for Dwolla-MtGox and it was a nightmare. I took a risk yesterday and tried BitInstant cash to bitcoin wallet deposit and it was successful and instant. By the time I got home, the bitcoins were in my wallet.

I also successfully did a cash deposit yesterday to btc and it was in my wallet almost immediately after I paid.
How did you do a cash deposit if you are experiencing problems with one of your partners?

Not all users receive this error.  I'm not sure what steps you took to receive this error.  Your best bet would be to log your issue at support.bitinstant.com with details to recreate this error so we can troubleshoot your specific issue.
I sent an email.

Woud you mind telling me how you did it? Like what browser did you use for example.
