321  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new in forum. on: July 02, 2021, 02:17:43 PM
Recently I came here to work on the campaign. But there are many other aspects that I do not know. Does the forum only work for the campaign? I have seen many members here are senior members. How can I get it? What are the rules of merit or the forum? What are the rules?help us..

The forum's purpose is not mainly for campaigns only, there are a lot more complicated matter that are handled here. In terms of ranking, you can rank up through merits wherein you can gain some through posting relevant posts and useful information in it.   If you really want to be successful and improve your position here, you should make yourself much more knowledgeable not only about crypto but also about the forum rules. It might save a life someday and also you should pay attention to the importance of ranking when it comes to the amount of profit you can get from campaigns.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scenario of the crypto market in near future. on: July 02, 2021, 01:22:41 PM
I think stability is much more guaranteed in the near future know that almost all of the corrections needed to furnish bitcoin's stability is made already. Maybe there will still be dumps taking place but the time span would be much shorter compared than to what we usually experience right now. Crypto will continue to develop specially if the current news about bitcoin and El Salvador becomes successful, it will make a huge impact on crypto's place on the monetary system in the future. For now, let us be firm in our holding and believe that bitcoin will fulfill its bright future ahead.
323  Economy / Economics / Re: The slave does not dream of freedom, but of being the slave-master on: July 02, 2021, 12:56:23 PM
This is a sentence I recently heard on a TV series I was watching that made me think of my own stance in life. Am I striving to become the master of slaves?  Perhaps those who climb the corporate ladder think in those terms? Are we creating our own cryptocurrency just to be our own masters or are we actually seeking to become the new masters of the new slaves? BTW I am very interested in knowing if this is a quote from anyone famous or just part of the script.
This is a good thinking and I think it works well in most of the ways in life. As you start dreaming as a child, you start thinking how you can achieve it, if you will make it right away or you'll need to surpass lots of troubles first. As you grow older, you start learning that it's either you make way on how you can build your own dream or you help other's build their dreams. Instead of focusing and staying stagnant on being a slave, start thinking already on how you can escape it and start becoming a slave master. In crypto, if you've had enough experience start dreaming of making your own coin if you have the capability to do so.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any miner who have not sold any bitcoin from the beginning? on: July 02, 2021, 10:56:52 AM
Mining has become a business and it’s growing. It has daily expenses and for that miners need to sell their BTC to cover up electricity bill and other cost if exists. But is there any known miner who has not sold their BTC for a single time who is mining for a long time now? We know there are addresses which haven’t moved their BTC for a long time. Is any miner included in the list?
More likely, that is not possible considering how far bitcoin has reached already. Most or almost all of the miners probably have spent some of their bitcoin already. If ever a miner managed to hold their bitcoin for a very long time up until now, there's a high chance that he is a whale right now capable of manipulating the market for a bit on every action he makes. Sooner or later, we will see and witness more miners spending their bitcoin due to the unforeseen situations like crisis in bitcoin. For now, all we can do is try and do our best not to sell what we are mining since bitcoin is not in a good shape at the moment.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why on earth do you own bitcoin? on: July 01, 2021, 10:04:12 PM
Recently everyone is very anxious, the market from time to time falls, sometimes with the negative news waterfall, sometimes without the negative news waterfall, as for the positive news almost no, it really makes people hate the teeth itch. Whether it's profit withdrawal or principal loss, watching your money slowly being eaten up by the market is generally an individual's anxiety. The more we get to this point in time, the more I think it's important for us to ask, or for us to ask ourselves, what are you holding bitcoin or Ethereum or any other digital currency for?
Why on earth do you not have any bitcoin up until now? Bitcoin was comprehended as the future and it will help you in lots of ways. Everyone is dying to have it right now because they are well aware that at some point, it will secure their future. In terms of what am I currently holding, I prefer bitcoin more right now even though I also have some holdings for Ethereum. Bitcoin has a huge potential of coming back much stronger considering what it did last year wherein it had the most unexpected continuous bull run. I think people now are paying much attention to that.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Eth go below .05 BTC? on: July 01, 2021, 02:44:39 PM
Ethereum and bitcoin has been always next to each other with bitcoin always leading the way and even though the gap never became so close, what ETH did was undeniably uncomparable and amazing. Managing to stay next to the top crypto up until now is something a successful coin could do so it is already guaranteed that it will be able to survive in the future together with bitcoin. I think ETH is on a good run for the past months and it could be possible that it will reach .05 BTC in no time so just keep on believing and diverse some of your investment in ETH too!
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After China, Now it's Mexico's Turn to Ban Crypto on: July 01, 2021, 02:20:07 PM
After the Chinese government banned the use of cryptocurrencies a few weeks ago, the Mexican government is now banning the use of cryptocurrencies in the financial system.
https://www.coindesk.com/mexicos-treasury-secretary-confirms-cryptos-are-banned-from-financial-system

Will the ban have a negative impact on the future of crypto? there are already several countries that prohibit the use of cryptocurrencies.
It wouldn't have a negative impact on the future of crypto alone, we will right away feel how detrimental it will be if ever Mexican governments continues on banning crypto. Although such sudden events happens, there are also some good news that counters the banning of many countries since many countries are also starting regulate the use of crypto such as Germany and El Salvador. On El Salvador, crypto enthusiasts are encouraged to move to their country and will gain free citizenship as they continue to pursue their investment on crypto while in Germany, it is starting to get regulated on sales and soon we'll see it on other stuffs too for sure.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: From 2020, the sale and custody of Bitcoin will be allowed to all German banks on: July 01, 2021, 01:26:13 PM
It seems that there are a lot of news already with regards to Germany being a crypto friendly nation and hearing that they will soon regulate bitcoin in their country, it would definitely make a huge impact in the market now and in the future if ever things works out well. Amongst all the countries in Europe, many are saying that Germany is a good place to start up a crypto investment specially with bitcoin now that such news have showed up and appears to be legitimate. Don't wast the chance if you live there, grab the opportunity and start investing already!
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not just a currency, but represents a new human civilization on: July 01, 2021, 12:15:26 PM
Bitcoin is a new revolution of monetary system that might be our future that's why a lot of people are preparing already through investments and holding. Although most of the investors purpose is for profit, some are looking at it as a security for the future so that if ever bitcoin becomes legal in the future and became an official currency, they will have all the advantage towards those who didn't invest on bitcoin. Who knows what the future holds so it would be better to find a way on how you can make sure you can suffice all your family's needs when the time comes.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: African regulators warn cryptocurrencies may not be legitimate on: June 30, 2021, 09:35:17 PM
Considering crypto's achievements over the past years, I think it wouldn't matter anymore if it is legal or not. In our experiences, we can already see how proper crypto is and Africa is not a country you can depend on with regards to critcizing stuffs. Their economy is not doing well and I think crypto is not much patronized over there too. There will always be people and country that will claim crypto is not real or sort of fraud but we know in ourselves how helpful and how legitimate it has been over the past years of its existence.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never sell your Bitcoin? on: June 30, 2021, 12:54:02 PM
I just want to see what the general consensus is about selling Bitcoin. The well-known Bitcoin advocate, Mr. Michael Saylor, has said that you should never sell your Bitcoin, you should hold it for a lifetime. He believes that when you sell bitcoin, you will be taxed, but if you hold it, you can borrow bitcoin at a good interest rate (tax-free). Platforms such as Block Fi provide such services.

What do you think of this problem? If I double my investment during the next bull market, then for liquidity purposes, I will most likely not sell a bit. I really like Bitcoin and its direction of development, so regardless of short-term price fluctuations, I plan to invest in the long-term.
If you'll be taking consideration of the current situation, selling is not really ideal but selling in general regardless if it's bull run or bear market, you have all the power to decide what to do. There are ways still where you can sell your bitcoin tax free, I think most of the time it is just gas fee that you need. If ever there's a tax for your transaction, for sure it wouldn't be that expensive. Holding is very important right now because the market is currently experiencing a lot of issues and crisis, just stay firm with your investments, our time will come again and for sure it will be worth it.
332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm new here on: June 29, 2021, 04:01:05 PM
Hi everyone, I don't know why begginers like myself are not posting here but I hope I'm welcome here?
This place is all about Bitcoin and crypto related stuffs which I think is not easy for someone without knowledge of cryptocurrency to grow to certain level here. If I don't know anything about crypto then I don't think i need to be here trying to do well with impressive posts.

Can someone do well here without having good knowledge on cryptocurrency?
Can I post in non crypto related thread and still do well here?
If I'm ready to learn from people's ideas and write-up here, can I hope on this site since it's all about cryptocurrency stuffs.

I have few ideas on trading stock but I don't know if it's some how related to crypto market cos I can't just wait to explore this site. The rules are somehow confusing but I'll try and go through it again.

Thanks admin for this privilege!
Well, you cannot be considered doing well in here if you are not that knowledgeable about cryptocurrencies. The forum is named bitcointalk and it is not solely made for unrelated stuffs about crypto so posting on non crypto related threads in the forum will do you no good. Learn more, you'll see how wonderful crypto has been over the past years for sure and you will also learn that it is one of the best decisions you made, learning about crypto cause it will lead you to greater things in life if ever you became fortunate. Do not waste this chance, don't stay ignorant, there's more inside that is waiting to bring out the best in you.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: June 29, 2021, 03:40:10 PM
Over the past weeks the market was dipping everyday that if you bought the week before, you was already at lost by the next week. This frustrating market cause may Investors to stop buying and waiting for the buttom. I just opened my binance app and noticed market is recovering, and I just wanted them know what the community at large is doing but I'll see the individual response just to pass time while we wait for full market recovery.

what are the decisions you're making now, will you wait for this new market development not to be a trap before investing again or you'll risked it and buy more coins?
Most of us will surely say that buying the dip is the best course of action right now in preparing for the next market development and I totally agree with that. Also, you can also try investing small amount on some coins that are still emerging regardless of the crisis in the market right now. Holding will be very crucial since those who didn't hold their investments during the 2015 market are traumatize and well aware as of now that another bull run will surely occur once again in the future. Market will soon recover again so make the best decisions that wouldn't lead to regret in the future.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and middle class as a mentality on: June 29, 2021, 03:22:10 PM
Some people are born rich or moderately rich, some are born middle class and some are born poor or extremely poor. All these conditions come along with a set of survival guides that the parents, relatives and even teachers will pass along as a map of life. For example, in a school of a country that does not give opportunity to its people, where most of the students are poor, it is unlikely that the teachers will induce them to think big or have big dreams...more likely they will aim to keep them apart from drugs, avoid problems with the government and try to imbue some basic skill for life. The ultra-poor do not even get that - which actually may be better.

In a preppy school, where most of the students are rich-born, the conversation is quite different. Culture, life, opportunity, spirit-de-corps and class mentality are imbued in the same manner, so the kids will somehow justify in their minds that they have the right to be rich even if they have not done anything for anyone in their lives - perhaps not even for themselves - because of some Darwinian property of cosmos.

As a result, the poor and even middle class have to jump over one real barrier, their lack of funds, and more importantly, like the Elephant that learns young that he cannot break the chains and never tries again, over their own state of mind, their own prison set by the terms of those who trying to help taught them to avoid anything but doing the same that keeps them poor.

When it comes to mentality, poor and middle class individuals are only different for a bit. The poor ones tend to settle for less and prioritize surviving each day amidst how unjust the treatment of the world is towards them. Those in the middle class are those who are trying to survive and settle for less but with a hope that one day they will escape the prison that has encaged them since birth. In life, it's all about the mind most of the time. It's the way you see and perceive things wherein the ways lies under such and you only need to look at the right direction to finally find a way out.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: June 29, 2021, 02:39:04 PM
What the heck is happening  Shocked? The market looks to greenish today im currently seeing some big green candles on BTC and other coins charts, are the bulls back or what?
You cannot claim that the bull is back with just a day of greenish market. Do not be deceived nor tricked by what you are seeing at the moment. Careful speculation will definitely save you a lot of money so it would be best to keep monitoring the price movement in the market and if ever it has been constantly rising for a month or two, therefore the bull might be back. Considering the recent events such as China banning crypto services in their territory, I'm afraid we'll need to wait for a while before we can once again experience massive bull runs but hold still, it will surely be worth it.
336  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC fall below $30,000? The high-yield risk opportunities are in MEME? on: June 28, 2021, 04:35:23 PM
If we were to cosider the recent news about bitcoin, we can tell how will it go for its price for the next few months. China pushing through the restriction of crypto services and El Salvador regulating bitcoin and other crypto within their nation, these two are just few of the news related to bitcoin yet it causes confusion on whether the bull market will exceed to the top once again or the price will fall below $30k. Nevertheless, those lucky once who was able to buy during the dip should just keep on holding on, the price will get back soon just have faith and have perseverance whilst waiting.
337  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Given some bitcoin for no reason - too good to be true? +, Mycelium question. on: June 28, 2021, 04:03:29 PM
I got a message on discord (i sign up to a particular server) from an individual informing me that I've been given some bitcoin (0.2) . The message was to the effect that their exchange has increased activity and decided to hold a draw, distribute to random users. Crazy eh? Sticking to the tried and trusted old adage, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Nonetheless, I followed the instructions, signed up to this somewhat-dubious exchange website, put in the activation code. I now have the option to withdraw the bitcoin. When I select "withdraw", I am asked for a bitcoin address.

I have a mycelium wallet. when i click on Account 1 (now working with on this HD account), and then "balances", it shows an address. Is it safe to enter this address into this somewhat dubious website? Or shall I create a second account in mycelium? Or better yet, forget the entire thing?
It might be a scam or a hacker yet it can also be for real. On that part when they asker for your address, you should already know that they cannot hack you through that alone, maybe afterwards they will ask for more information as you get deceived by the money they gave. A second account would be the best course of action since you can seal off your guarantee free from risks and identify whether it is for real or it is just a trick. Ensure always that you take extra precations whenever you are transacting anywhere in the market, scammers are everywhere so it would be better to be safe than sorry.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami Mayor Will Allow Employee salaries in Bitcoin on: June 28, 2021, 03:29:32 PM
Even though Miami is just one of America's many states, this kind of news shows us how much progress is being made in bitcoin. I'm sure they gave their employees the freedom to choose whether they will accept bitcoin or fiat as their salaries. The declaration saying that the Mayor behind this is planning to spread it into large states in America should give us confidence and make us more eager to keep on holding and investing. El Salvador started it already, imagine that almost every part in America regulates crypto, that will surely make a huge impact on the market price of bitcoin and other altcoins.
339  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will bitcoin be worth in 2030? BTC price prediction on: June 28, 2021, 03:03:34 PM
If ever things will get settled with regards to bitcoin, like the banning in China and the legalization in El Salvador, bitcoin's value will probably above $1M or $2M. If progress on showcasing bitcoin to the world will go well and proper specially on El Salvador's territory, the influence will grow rapidly and the demand will significantly increase. Nevertheless, we should first analyze how will bitcoin surpass the crisis it is currently facing right now, and once we completely break it down, we can start making assumptions on possible price prediction for bitcoin the next decade.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Always use ip address from El Salvador to shop online on: June 27, 2021, 07:32:22 PM
Not just because El Salvador has officially regulated bitcoin and crypto within their country wouldn't necessarily mean it is a good idea to set your IP address to theirs. You should remember that the use of crypto on their nation is still under development and there is no guarantee yet that it will produce a good outcome but let's hope it will. Also, there are some few countries that restricts the use of other nation's IP address so it wouldn't always be ideal. Maybe once El Salvador's revolution becomes successful, this could be a new and ideal way when shopping online but for now, let us obey the rules.
