Is that possible to remove the orphaned blocks, and retract/ roll back the rewards granted to the orphans?
Is it the open wallets and/or the hashing power of the bot that is capable of doing this? In other words, someone unleashes a bunch of docker images with very little hashing power, but has an open wallet in it, or is it a series of powerful miners with large hashing capability with open wallets?
Is there a way to detect that, identify the "vote" and veto that vote?
I apologize for the questions, but I am still a learner in this crazy space.

Is anyone else concerned about those orphaned blocks and the rewards attached to them in the mining pool? This reminds me of something that took place around 5 months ago with a couple of other coins I was mining. Has anyone nailed down an actual cause to this?

Hi Bud welcome to $BLE! I run BLEpool.com . . yes its annoying the orphaned blocks, there is something like a bot net . . many machines not on the pool competing for blocks . . since the diff is so low, blocks are found pretty fast and often at the same basic time. The pool doesnt always win the concensus for 'having found the block first' As diff goes up and more hash joins the pool, we should have more solid wins. Nevertheless we get many blocks a day and have steady payouts. Thx and good luck! |

poolminers with open wallets?  dont understand this,when most miners using many machines with 1 wallet #BLE.JN7mhjEqjBcS44T7s4CNQnvo7Ak24Qq4oY If you keep a separate wallet running on each miner machine then there are more nodes to verify a win by concensus, especially if you addnode=sha256.blepool.com then when the pool finds a block, EVERYONE mining on the pool will hear about it as well and give us a better chance to NOT have an orphaned block you dont have to mine to an address from the wallet on the miner machine, just having it open with 0 balance will still allow it to participate in the concensus mechanism and fortify the network. |

How is this possible?  Makes the coin less energy low! One out of seven, that's not energy saving. At the moment there appears to be a bot net with an indeterminate number of machines and wallets open. If a bot net machine finds a block and the pool also does, frequently via concensus the bot net 'votes' that it found the block first. With added hash to the pool, all pool miners keeping their wallets open as well, and higher difficulty ramping up, the problem should begin to dissipate. |

How is this possible in the blepool.com?  It seems many blocks go to solo miners, only 3 blocks of the last 30 blocks were found in the pool.  What makes this coin special, besides using BTC as metronome? Are there any other functionalities planned in the future? I see what you are saying there Frisian, somehow on this exact block it would appear that miners wallet got the only share(s) in for that block. You can see most payments to that address FROM the pool are much smaller portions of a 49 coin distribution, but for some unknown reason (could be server reboot, miner update , etc.) this guy got the full win for that round. |

Thanks for the effort on a new project but I just don't buy it. It's like saying that you don't pollute because you are using an electric car but the electricity for your electric car is produced by a big old diesel engine. You should choose a less energy consuming coin as metronome if you want to call the coin low energy, not just choose bitcoin because is popular.... maybe you know it already and you will change the metronome coin once you gain popularity.....

"Hundreds of people die every year by falling from high places due to gravity . . so dont use paper weights, since they rely on gravity to function" Not using paper weights wont make gravity less lethal under the wrong circumstances.
